Byes as they stand I am 20, 16 and 19 across the rounds. Hayes I think has too make way this week for either English or Darcy. English obviously hurts the R13 bye more but his form and ceiling is definitely there. Darcy has a huge ceiling, comes with injury risk but a favourable bye. Tough decision! I’d be in Darcy’s camp if I had ruck cover up forward.

Why does teakle look to be favoured over strnadica, I’ve seen quiet a bit of talk… Strnadica has to be closer to a game when fit and on the bubble already .. both have DPP as well at 102k, What am I missing? Just seen alot of ppl lose their mind about teakle now being available.. no way he squeezes into ports best 22 is there? Cheers
He doesn’t have DPP is why.
Also, the majority bringing in Teakle don’t actually want him to play. He’s there to swing with English or Cameron and to use as a loop if needed.

Interesting one- who ever knows.
I’ve had him since the start of the year and really disappointed first match scored 2 from memory.
Then been banging down the door with his 2nds form, and really played well last week. When you consider Billing’s dropped- he’s virtually taken his position.
Bit like Cleary- playing well- but numbers and experience coming back will make it difficult.
Last game was great though!

Call me crazy guys.
So I’ve decided to go hayes, SDK and Paddy Mc to English, Butler and probably Teakle. Holding Preuss for now, if he doesn’t come back i have a back up plan. But this allows me to target Laird post bye who i probably want the most through the byes.
Anyway i have 18 trades and 2 boosts so a bit of flexibility which is nice. Hoping to keep Butters as mid/fwd cover for the year also. Anyway thats the background, but what is your thoughts on making an extra trade this week and going Daicos UP to Luke Ryan for the next two weeks. Seemingly a waste of a trade, but could be a good 75k positive swing and you’d think points on field. Call me silly community! Appreciate the help as always.

Too early to cull Preuss or need to get English in no matter what?
I’m thinking Daicos and Preuss out for Butler and English, leaves me with 120k and allows me to bring in Walsh and possibly Stewart next week (completing my defence, ruck, forward line and 2 mid upgrades left)
20 warm bodies this week thinking of passing on all the downgrades this week especially Wehr, Owens etc . to get in English before his bye or another premo. If they get a game next week will reassess and make sure I have 18 for next week ..am I crazy?

I know someone asks this question at least once every year, but am I right in assuming you can still do the E loophole as per usual and still have it count as best 18 in bye weeks?
For example, I’ve put the E on Soligo and can take his score by putting a bye player onfield, and if Soligo sits in top 18 of my 22 players playing this week then his score will count? And if I have benched Butler for Soligo and don’t have the E on Butler, then Butler’s score will not get counted at all?
Is Butters > Titch a good trade?
