  1. Currently have 32 trades left and $16.9k left in the bank after trading Hough to Rosas via DPP with Rachele this week.

Now just wondering is it worth trading Dixon to Preuss? I will lose the Ruck and Fwd DPP swing but Preuss’ BE is very low. Thoughts?

    T/up – Get Preuss in

    T/down – Hold Dixon

  2. TU: Hall, English, Hinge –> Stewart, Heeney, Preuss
TD: Hall, English, Rowell –> Stewart, Heeney, De Goey

(Basically, more important to cut Rowell, or get Preuss?)

  3. Looking for draft league opinions.
I have goldy in ruck, but thinking about streaming in another available ruck that might score better this round.
    Looking at
    TU: jack hayes
    TD: sam hayes
    Comment: stef martin or nank
    Comment also: keep goldy

I could even bring inna non playing ruck like hickey and take Wellers bench score

  4. I have no idea what to do this week

DEF: Crisp, Hewett, Ridley, Bowey, McCartin, O’Driscoll (Sinn, Gibcus)
MID: Macrae, Steele, Neale, Oliver, Crippa, N.Daicos, JHF, Ward (D.Stephens, C.MacDonald, Hollands)
    RUC: Gawn, Grundy (Dixon)
FWD: Dunkley, Butters. Cogs, Brodie, Xerri, N.Martin (Rachele, Durdin)
$57,000 in the bank, 32 trades left , four trade boosts left
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

  5. 30 trades left. Used 1 boost already. Back line is shaky

    TU: out: Ridley, Rowell, Hinge
    in: Rosas, Miller, Sicily

    Or

    TD: out: Rowell, Hinge, Hough
    In: Sicily, Pruss, Rosas

Or comment if I should just save a trade and do the traditional: one down, one up!

  6. Carrying Riddley & Ryan in defence, more trusting of Ryan given he hit 150 already. Didn’t start with Macrae, big sad.

TU: Hinge & Riddley to Rosas & Macrae (via DPPs)
Get on Macrae, he’s never going to dip and you’re losing too much ground without him, will have 32 trades left so worth it.
    TD: Hinge to Rosas
Don’t trade Riddley, be patient, he’ll come good, Bombers to bounce back with all the heat they’re getting, look for other ways to get in Macrae, waste of a trade.

  7. Hello, need your thoughts.

    Out: H. Dixon, C. Stephens, C. Macdonald
    In: B. Preuss, Z. Butters, M. Rosas

    Only $3.3K left

I believe Butters will play more midfield minutes with Wines.

  8. Premium mid in, already have Macrae/Steele/Neale/Oliver

    TU Brayshaw
    TD Keays

Comment if you have other ideas

  9. Was getting rid of both but now only ditching one after the English news.

    Who to sell this week?
    TU: Whitfield
    TD: Rowell

    1. I traded Whitfield for Stewart as Stewart should hit his BE and go up in value. Rowell shouldn’t lose too much value this week then I’ll trade him to crips next week who will drop in value a bit this week. Now watch the SC gods completely f@ck up my plan.

  10. $38,100 ITB / 30 Trades Left / Rank 12494

    DEF: J. Short, J. Crisp, G. Hewett, S. De Koning, P. McCartin, J. Sicily (H. Chapman J. Boyd)

    MID: J. Macrae, C. Oliver, J. Steele, L. Neale, P. Cripps, N. O’Driscoll, JHF, N. Daicos (J. Berry, J. Ward, C. MacDonald)

    RUCK: B. Grundy, J. Witts (H. Dixon)

    FWD: J. Dunkley, Z. Butters, S. Coniglio, W. Brodie, T. Xerri, N. Martin (J. Rachele, J. McEntree)

Do I need to bring in Preuss and Rosas? Dixon not selected to play maybe worth trading to preuss (or even Grundy to Preuss!?!?), feel like I could bring in another premo player. Any suggestions.

    Cheers

  11. TU: English and Rowell to Gawn and Preuss (keep and field Whitfield, bench Preuss)

TD: Whitfield and Rowell to Macrae and Preuss (bench English and play Preuss)

  12. Lads thoughts on this

Currently have Gawn Grundy. Holding Grundy

TU – preuss in for JHF

TD – wait 1 more week and get Hayes instead and if Grundy has a shit one. Get him out next week for preuss too

  13. Who comes in this week ?

T/U Sicily (BE 54) a bit late to the party but still value.

    T/U De’Goey (BE 74) Contract year. High CBA’s $25K cheaper.

I’m not a huge fan of these guys, but they’re both under priced for their averages so here we are.

    15

    4
      1. I hear you Shaggi.

Sicily seems to have mellowed a little after his year off. I think he’s probably the less risky of the two atm.

  14. I’m looking at my rookies and can still see money to be made on them, none are screaming to be traded out as yet – so am I crazy to consider the following trade this week?
OUT – Whitfield, Chapman & Rowell
IN – Stewart, Sicily & Rosas
Leaves $98k ITB, and 28 trades remaining (2nd boost used)

TU: Crazy talk – just do 2 trades (and one of those two in’s will be Rosas)
    TD : Go for broke

  15. Thoughts?
    OUT:
    Dixon (FWD Bench)
    Hinge (DEF bench),
    Rachele (MID bench)

    IN:
    B Smith
    Pruess (R3 via DPP)
    Rosas (FWD bench)

Will be left with 28 trades & $21K. Must win game in league

    TU: Go for it
    TD: Save your trades

  17. Got Chapman and Rowell for Rosas and Steele.

Thoughts on going early McDonald to S. Hayes to free up little more cash for next week? Or not worth it

  18. If you have Gawn and Grundy with Dixon at R3

is it worth bringing in Pruess or wait for SHayes next week to keep ddp with Xerri and JHayes

    TU: Trade him in

    TD: Wait for Hayes

    4

    3
  19. Already traded MacDonald —> Preuss (R3).

    Should I trade:
Grundy —> Dixon (bank Preuss score)
Hinge —> Sicily (field JFH, skip Rosas)

    next week:
Hayes —> Hayes (via Dixon, Preuss R2)
    JFH —> any MID Premo

T/U: Yes (Hayes’ 16 as Emg for Butters)
T/D: No, back Grundy in, get Rosas and skip Hayes next week (Rachele for Butters)

  20. First two trades done:

    English to Preuss
    Rowell to Tracca

    Best use of the boost?

T/U – Hinge to De Goey
    T/D – JHF to Bazlenka

  21. I can trade in any premo defender. I have Crisp and Short.

TU Stewart – guaranteed premo but high price
TD Sicily – great value, high ceiling, but potentially more risky?

Comment: anyone else … Doch, Witherden, May, Zorko ?

    Thanks for any opinions

  22. Should I use my first boost of the year to side swap Ridley to Sicily. Helps my bye structure and I can stop getting mad at him

    TU: yes
    TD: no

  23. G’day everyone!!

It’s supposed to rain in the Bris vs GC game tomorrow at Metricon (could be good for Rowell), and I am tossing up whether to get rid of Berry or Rowell (to bring in Touk in the same game).

Have the funds to use either Berry or Rowell for this upgrade, Berry should go up in price this week with a much lower break even, but I am a little concerned about Berry’s shoulder (which has looked very sore at times over the past few weeks).

    TU Get rid of Berry ($361,600 / up $93k) – Aver of 79.6 / Last 3 Game Aver 85 / BE of 37

TD Get rid of Rowell ($401,400 / up $58k) – Higher Aver of 92 / Lower Last 3 Game Aver 77.3 / BE of 103

At this stage, I am in front of my main league opponents (projected to win by around 125 points) – and they all have Rowell (but not Berry).

    Thanks!!

  24. Been mulling over trading in Tom Mitchell. Thought about a number of other mids and defenders but his price and the fact l think he can average around the 115 mark and appears to be over his groin issues. Interested in your thoughts, Cheers .

    1. Just wondering why the thumbs down as I did have him in my side in the preseason until I heard about his groin injury. And last year after his bye he tonned up in every game, scoring range being 110 – 171. Thanks

      1. @ Tiger – I think with Titch people are still worried about his role.

From being the mainstay of Hawthorns centre bounce down attendances, he is making way a bit more now for blokes like Newcombe & Ward (see excellent CBA & kick in article earlier this week), and playing a bit more forward of the ball.

After a poor start to the year, Tom Mitchell was only on approximately 35 points at half time in the latest game versus Geelong – and then he was sensational in the wet in the second half to end up scoring really well for the day.

If he gets back to attending the majority of CBA’s (like for eg Steele, Touk, Brayshaw, Petracca, Oliver etc), and playing mainly as a mid, then he is a very solid choice IMO – with an outstanding record over many years.

  25. Any truth about Rosas current possible injury?

Who to bring in that is on the bubble who has reasonable job security. Perez?

    1. Yeah Cheesecake..

Twitter blowing up with Rosas possibly out with a calf. You could go early on Hobbs. He held his spot with both Stringer and Merrett back. Perez the other option.

        1. Will not be happy if Malcolm Rosas is out – as I traded Hugh Dixon out for him yesterday (before the WCE game) 🙁 🙁

Clearly would have been much better waiting for Dixon to return – if Rosas is actually out.

If Rosas is out, hopefully it is just a calf “niggle” – not a full blown tear.

McCreery has started well, but based on last years numbers only (12 games at an average of just under 40), @ $210k he is probably too pricey?

Hobbs would probably be better – but he is MID only (so you would need to use some dpp magic).

  26. Even though rosas could be out thinking of just holding on the bench anyway? Will be a trade option once he’s back anyway..
No one else to get currently in my opinion.
Don’t rate Hobbs JS or Perez SP

  27. Anyone reckon Keidean Coleman is worth considering as a Rosas replacement? Has DEF/FWD status and was in a lot of teams prior to round 1. Awkward price point at 263k but if he gets that half back role could be worth the risk.

    2

    7
  28. What to do with Rosas?

TU: Reverse back to Bowey who will be stuck on my bench (Save trade boost)
TD: Trade to Hobbs (Use boost but 250k ITB)
