Craig McRae confirms Darcy Moore, Steele Sidebottom, Lachie Schultz, Scott Pendlebury and Bobby Hill will all return to play against Hawthorn on Friday night.
Especially after Liam Baker got nothing for intentionally elbowing someone in the back of the head!
I love the game but the judiciary system is a bit cooked and desperately needs an overhaul. Normal footy plays and accidental collisions are resulting in suspensions, but deliberate “non-football” acts are just waved away. It’s puzzling at best, infuriating at worst.
Keidean Coleman to miss this week after suffering swelling in his reconstructed knee.
“His knee has swelled up after his first game. That’s not unusual,” Chris Fagan said.
“Scans didn’t reveal anything, it’s just a reaction to more stress and more effort. He’s improved, but not enough to play.
“We expect him to be OK in the next week or two.”
Gold Coast: Leonardo Lombard (MID $167,500) will debut against Fremantle on Saturday.
The latest Suns Academy graduate to play AFL. Was bid on by St Kilda last year and matched by Gold Coast at pick 9.
Is this just a direct FU to St Kilda and Ross Lyon?
Collingwood:

Tom McCarthy, who nominated for the draft under an 18-month term, is widely expected to be taken by the Eagles with their first selection.
McCarthy is considered by recruiters as clear number one pick. “McCarthy then daylight”
WCE has gained a second selection with the season ending injury to Waterman.
Essendon has 4 selections with no surprise that they are targeting a ruck to assist Goldstein.

Jack Macrae is chance to make his return in Round 14, per club.
Alex Pearce is free to play after successfully overturning his three-match ban for rough conduct at the AFL Tribunal.
Rightly so, was just an unfortunate accident of two brave players contesting the ball.
Especially after Liam Baker got nothing for intentionally elbowing someone in the back of the head!

They need to refocus it on action and not outcome and accept that sometime players playing a contact sport will get concussed.
