THE AFL wishes to advise the Match Review of AFL 2022 AAMI Community Series (Part One) Matches has been completed. Seven charges were laid with no further incidents requiring a detailed explanation.

Charges laid:

Nathan KreugerCollingwood, has been charged with Engaging in Rough Conduct against Callan Ward, Greater Western Sydney, during the second quarter of the 2022 AAMI Community Series Match between Greater Western Sydney and Collingwood, played at GIANTS Stadium on Sunday March 6, 2022.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact, High Contact. The incident was classified as a one-match sanction as a first offence. The player can accept a one-match sanction with an early plea.

Brayden Maynard, Collingwood, has been charged with Striking Daniel Lloyd, Greater Western Sydney, during the second quarter of the 2022 AAMI Community Series Match between Greater Western Sydney and Collingwood, played at GIANTS Stadium on Sunday March 6, 2022.

    1. If its only one match, it wont effect most Head to Head leagues, so he could still be a starter to save a trade. Only issue is if he loses his spot.

  3. Brayden Maynard charge upheld. Brayden Maynard’s two-match ban will stand. The jury found that by approaching the contest the way he did, contact to Lloyd’s head could be reasonably foreseen.
