  1. Have the top5 in current voting:
Laird, Yeo, Sicily, TMac and Simmo.
I’m looking at Hurn for F6. Anyone else?!?

      1. Hibberd finally out for Hurn and Sicily in for Finlayson/ Murray next week, leaving my backline;

        Laird / Yeo / Ryan / Sicily / Hurn / Doedee.

Lloyd or Hurley in for Doedee as my last Premo upgrade R14/15

    1. Afl fantasy website has him injured so better check it is just a niggle and he’ll be good after his bye.

  2. Final spot in defence up for grabs

Hurley although having a lean patch, we all know how good he is. It will be hard to pass him up at $450k after his bye round!

Will be watching this pole closely.

    1. M Hurley:
      Post Bye Avg since 2015: 103.75 from 16 (5/16 below 100, 4/16 120+)
      2015 Post Bye Avg: 98.13 from 8
      2017 Post Bye Avg: 109.38 from 8

    2. Keeping an eye on Hurley myself. Already have finished my backline but can swing Sicily forward if the price is right.

He had a forward rotation role on the weekend which slowed his scoring, was looking good beforehand.

  3. Looking to bring in one of Lloyd/Webster between RD15-17 to complete my backline which will consist of:
    Def: R Laird, K Simpson, J Sicily, M Hurley, E Yeo, J Lloyd/J Webster, (T Doedee, loophole)

  4. S Hurn:
Since their bye in 2017 Hurn has averaged 98.05 from 21 games which includes a low of 24 and a high of 165 with 4/21 below 80, 10/21 100+ with 7 of them 110+.

Also has averaged 20.95 disposals since then.
    SC avg when disposals equal/exceed 21: 115.58 from 12 (low of 83 and a high of 165, 3/12 below 100, 7/12 110+)
SC avg when disposals below 21: 74.67 from 9 (low of 24 and a high of 102, 8/9 below 100)

  5. As a bombers fan im concerned with hurley. Almost feel like when he scores well in sc it has a negative impact to team performance as it means he is doubling up with goddard as the backline distributor/loose man.
There’s alot of talk that we can’t afford to have both of them play this role (we looked much better structure-wise in the two games where hurley was out) so I have a feeling hurley will have to go back to playing a proper key position defender role.

  6. If Brandon Ellis’ return to form last week was not a flash in the pan, then he could be contender.

    1. Ellis is one of those guys that always seems poised to contend for a top 6-8 defender spot but then just fades away right after you trade him in.

  7. Hurley averaged 111 in his 10 games post R11 last year (including the EF) & 96 from R1-R11.

    He also averaged 98 in his 8 game post R11 in 2015 & 92 from R1-11.

  8. Yeo will come in next week. My last defender spot will be …

Up – Lloyd in rd 15
    Dn – Hurn next week

    Comment – McDonald rd14

    1. I’m looking at McDonald in 14 but his price at that point may preclude that.

That 164 came at just the wrong time due to the byes.
