    forgot the round started tonight – first time I missed round start all season
    Had nic nat as capt leftover from last round….97
    had yeo on field
    wanted to bring in saad…. missed that ton too…
    it is only the finals…..and you ask how the round is going so far…..

    1. I feel your pain, did the same, forgot to reset captaincy, so had to take Nic Nat’s score, then Jelly going down sealed my fate i fear

    2. CDawg , 120 was the cut for VC previous years, but this year it looks more like 130+. Its finals H2H, I need to win, I am taking the chance .

    3. Same query for me. I didn’t take Cripps 123 last week and regretted it.

      I think the move toward the VC standard becoming 130-140 plus was due to the scores Neale and Gawn were putting up earlier in the year. I think things have moved back to 120-130 more recently, especially after the scores from prime candidates Neale and Fyfe last week.

      Who knows. I’m just very gun shy after what happened last week with Neale so currently leaning towards taking Titch’s 122. Particularly as I finished top 4 in my leagues and have the double chance. Different story if you’re in an Elimination Final.

    4. At this stage I’m rolling with Macrae and not taking Titch’s score. Not sure if the thumbs up to CDawgs response is advising to take Titch or to roll the dice.

      Maybe let’s make it more clear;

      T/U: Bank Titch’s 122 as VC
      T/D: Roll the dice on Bont or Macrae

  5. I have no choice – VC’d Titch but in a moment of panic as game time was imminent, threw Captain on Draper, thinking he was ok as my loophole but not realizing Hawthorn were playing….Essendon .

    Still have Grundy, Cripps, Doc & Simpkin with a donut in Cottrell to come. Low scores of bottom 3 where 71 x 2 & a 74.

    Hoping for 1950-2000 hopefully that’s around par & I don’t loose much ground in rankings.

  13. Current score of 2104 with Zerrett as captain and Grundy and Martin to come. Projected 2157 which seems pretty reasonable.

  14. 2090/18/Macrae.
    I refused to Take Titch score becoz my H2H didnt loophole and had C on Macrae. He moved last minute to Kelly. Then Kelly gets injured and does worse than Macrae. Easy league win for me but I kind of feel bad for him. I have learned a valuable lesson: you take 120. You never know.

  15. 1856/16/Bont… Project 2148.

    Accidentally left the C on Bont Friday night.
    Looking now, 122 a good pass mark for a captain this round.
