  1. 912/7/Darcy

Massive games from new recruit Darcy, Brayshaw & Macrae. Let down by Butters’ low score of 52.

    Happy overall but disappointing from
Butters and dunks. Really wanted to go with short or neale as cap but cant pass up 144.

        1. You already have 6 x huge MID guns – so that’s a great start 🙂

For M7 and M8, if you have the funds I would tend to go for guns that are in “top 10 on the ladder” sides – for example:

          Mills
          Brayshaw (Frem)
          Petracca
          Walsh
Bont (surely WB finish top 10)

Don’t think you can go too far wrong with any of the above 5 guys, and I always worry that player injuries are treated far more conservatively in the bottom sides as the year goes on.

          Good luck with your decision!!

Butters, Dunkley, Daniel, Treloar & Ryan, supposed “premos”, and not one of them cracked 80. JHF & NOD on field to boot.
    Brodie the only shining light.
It’s going to be another painful weekend.

My opp put the C on Erasmus with Macrae VC as he was on 100 odd at half time, Erasmus subbed in with 15 to go in the last… ouch mate

    Also,
    TU take NOD’s 61 or
    TD field McCartin?

    Thanks!

Copped Butters and Rosas and then Ridley late out meant Thompson’s 38 had to come on field – was already covering Hewett as well.

    Everyone else been good though.

Satan, Steele, Cripps and ROB to close it out tomorrow.

Got greedy and went Neale instead of taking JMac @ 144. Twenty-one points lost there
    Projected 2363 is pretty good.
Steele, Oliver and Cripps to come.

    1. What is your cutoff for a VC score? I would have thought anything over 130-135 would be automatic.

  9. 1,688 from 17 – Oliver, L. Jackson, Dawson, Cripps, and ROB to come.

    Thoughts on who to captain?
    TU: Oliver.
    TD: Cripps.
Comment: ROB vs Carlton (missing their #1 ruck).

Just Steele, Cripps and Clarry to come. Might be taking a tumble down the rankings this week but it was always going to be hard when missing Witherden and Hewett but I think all of the defence rookies have done ok for me

    Steele & Oliver to go

Got greedy should have taken Brayshaws 134 but thought Lochie would go bang

Projected 2340 would be happy with anything over 2300

Not a good week as I had Witherden and Hewett on my defence bench. A part from the scores from Butters and Dunkley everyone got, I was hit with 60 from Mills ,and I fielded Ward expecting him to regain his preseason form after a good rest. Some weeks you win, some you lose, and this week I am expected to lose some ground but that’s ok. Good luck everyone

Hoping for a “Happy Mother’s Day” score today with Steele, Oliver and Cripps to come. Was very relieved that Dixon wasn’t a late in, as he was my Captain to enable me to use Macrae’s VC score. With Bont out, figured he was worth the VC after the last 2 weeks of disappointing scores. Back up plan if Dixon came in, was use Long as Captain but that would have meant benching N Martin which wasn’t ideal, so glad it didn’t come to that. McCartins emergency score was handy.

  14. 1895/18/Touk

Underwhelming scores for several “premiums” Dunks, Butters, Cogs and especially new recruit Stewart (has his lowest score of the year after I bring him in and gets outscored by SDK grrrrrr) but had serviceable contributions from the likes of Whit, Lipinski, Rowell, baby Daicos and Martin with great scores from Touk, Sic, Neale, Witts, Brodie, Short and Preuss

Have a few very close match ups today with Sinclair, Oliver, Walsh and Laird to come – will come down to whether Gawn and Steele go large or not (being a non-owner since R2/3, I expect them to continue punishing me)!

Good luck today everyone and Happy Mother’s Day 🙂

  16. Quick question;

Both Hewett (used for loophole) and Ridley are out and I have both E’s on Hinge & SDK for D coverage – will I score for 22 players or 21?

    T/U 22
    T/D 21 (no Hinge score)

Reason why I am asking is because SC has said my score is finalised from 21 players but I have 9 on the bench & expecting to pick up Hinge’s score – will it correct after start of game 9?

    Cheers

    Cheers
