Hawthorn (10.15.75) defeated Kuwarna-Adelaide (9.12.66)

  1. Wayne Milera (143). Another super score to add to Milera’s 2026 campaign. 32 touches, 5 marks, 84% DE and a massive 768 metres gained on Thursday night.
  2. Josh Worrell (134). Back to the big scores for Worrell, he finished up with 28 touches plus 7 marks, 85% DE and 663 metres gained.
  3. Sam Berry (132). Tough in tight as usual for Berry, finishing up with 27 touches, 10 tackles, 5 clearances and once again solid DE of 85%z
  4. Jordan Dawson (111). Another Crow, the skipper leading the way with 28 touches (12 contested) plus 5 marks, 9 tackles, 1 goal and 661 metres gained.
  5. Blake Hardwick (106). The sole Hawk to make it, Hardwick was the difference in the game, slotting 4 goals from 14 disposals and 6 marks.

Other 100+ scores: Massimo D’Ambrosio (105), Josh Weddle (100)

Disappointment: Josh Rachele (41) is the biggest fraud premium of the year, 9 clangers in 16 touches was horrible.

Rookies: McAndrew (75) was slightly ahead of Cook (67) who actually got tagged for much of the night. Both have been great cash cows but can probably be moved on with their bye coming up. The best of the Crows however was Borlase (81) with Murray (0) having a stinker. A debut for Nairn (37) here, with Ryan (30) and Bailey MacDonald (59) being the other Hawks.

Injuries: Adding to the loss was a string of injuries for the Crows, with Rankine (calf), Ah Chee (thumb) and Peatling (face/head) all being on the injury report.

 

Richmond (10.14.74) defeated Essendon (7.14.56)

  1. Darcy Parish (155). Won the best on ground medal for a stellar performance, totalling 41 touches (16 contested) plus 9 clearances, 7 marks and a massive 698 metres gained for the Bombers.
  2. Mason Redman (131). Plenty of it across half-back, grabbing 30 touches @ 93% DE plus 541 metres gained and 9 marks.
  3. Zach Merrett (126). Another super game from Merrett, his 36 touches also had 12 marks, 5 tackles, 490 metres gained and 1 goal.
  4. Jayden Short (124). Game 200 for Short, which finished with 30 touches plus 7 marks, 1 goal and a game best 723 metres gained.
  5. Tim Taranto (116). Bit of everything for Taranto to round it out, as he found 30 touches (11 contested) plus 8 clearances, 8 marks and 7 tackles.

Other 100+ scores: Patrick Retschko (107), Kyle Langford (105), Jack Ross (104)

Disappointment: Tough to give, all the popular players were solid. I’ll have to break my own rule and give it to a rookie in Grlj (41) who has really slowed down.

Rookies: Farrow (91) led the Bombers and repayed some of the coaches that held him. Robey (69) was solid as was Edwards (62), with Day-Wicks (24) rounding it out. The Russian Retschko (107) led the Tigers rookies who had some other solid scores from Lefau (78) and Cumming (72). After that there was Alger (50), Hayes-Brown (46), Burton (34) and Roberts-Thomason (33).

Injuries: Carnage here. Starting with Essendon, they finished with McGrath (jaw), May (ribs), Caldwell (ankle), Durham (concussion) and Guelfi (hamstring) all injured, two of them in hospital. The Tigers also lost a few here, with Faull (concussion) and Lynch (larynx) on their report.

 

Walyalup – Fremantle (16.8.104) defeated Euro-Yroke – St Kilda (11.8.74)

  1. Josh Treacy/Murphy Reid (126). Two Fremantle forwards tied up here. Treacy had 19 touches plus 11 marks and 2 majors, while Reid finished with 30 touches (9 contested) plus 1 goal and 76% DE.
  2. Luke Jackson (119). Popular VC option but fell in that awkward score territory. Overall had 22 touches (18 contested) plus 7 clearances and 21 hitouts.
  3. Jack Sinclair (114). The best of the Saints and had a game best 644 metres gained from his 29 touches and 6 marks.
  4. Sam Flanders (111). Played around half back and found 25 touches plus 7 marks and 7 tackles, nice month of scores.
  5. Max Hall (102). Rounds out the top five thanks to 25 touches (13 contested) plus 9 clearances, 6 marks and 2 goals.

Other 100+ scores: Zilch

Disappointment: Clark (83) struggled again, while Wilkie (86) didn’t do his new owners much good. Tom De Koning (56) has been horrid.

Rookies: Phillipou (88) keeps providing good scores and led the Saints ahead of Banfield (80) who will be very popular. O’Connell (53) was ahead of Carroll (35) and Henry (31) to round out the Saints. Just Scerri (56) for the Dockers.

Injuries: The Saints lost Howard (calf) and Marshall (leg) while Fremantle foot out of this game unscathed.

 

North Melbourne (17.9.111) defeated Gold Coast (16.9.105)

  1. Luke Davies-Uniacke (143). Just a super game for LDU, his 30 touches (10 contested) went @ 90% DE as well as adding 8 tackles, 7 clearances, 7 inside 50s, 7 marks and 1 goal.
  2. Matt Rowell (131). The Brownlow medalist had 31 disposals (14 contested) plus 14 clearances, 7 tackles, 8 inside 50s and 1 major.
  3. Noah Anderson (126). 31 touches as well for Anderson, his game including 7 clearances, 8 inside 50s, 1 major and a massive 739 metres gained.
  4. Harry Sheezel (125). A game best 32 touches for Sheezel, running @ 84% DE as well as adding 6 marks and 6 tackles.
  5. Christian Petracca (118). Rounds out a very popular top five, adding 28 touches (14 contested) @ 75% DE, 8 clearances and 1 goal.

Other 100+ scores: Tristan Xerri (114), Finn O’Sullivan (105), Jy Simpkin (101)

Disappointment: Parker (73) has been quiet lately, while Noble (84) had his worst score in a months worth of football.

Rookies: Just Duursma (61) and Dawson (14) for the Kangaroos, while the Suns had Lombard (58), Gulbin (49), Uwland (39) and  Adams (36).

Injuries: Clean cards from the first Saturday game.

 

Geelong (15.17.107) defeated Sydney (12.8.80)

  1. Max Holmes (128). Super game from Holmes, 35 touches led the way while adding 6 inside 50s, 8 clearances and a huge 712 metres gained.
  2. Riley Bice (127). To sole Swan to crack the top five, Bice compiled 34 touches (11 contested) @ 82% DE plus another big game of metres gained with 689.
  3. Lawson Humphries (120). The classy halfback had a super game, finding 33 possessions and 8 marks while also slotting 1 goal and having 811 metres gained.
  4. Bailey Smith (115). Had the clamps put on him but turned it on after half time, finishing with 32 touches, 7 clearances and 1 goal.
  5. Jeremy Cameron (111). Rounds out this games top five thanks to 21 touches, 3 goals, 516 metres gained and 10 marks

Other 100+ scores: Callum Mills (110), Isaac Heeney (105), Jake Lloyd (103)

Disappointment: Tom Stewart (74) has massive weeks then gets tagged, can’t rely on him. Grundy (95) well under what his projections were.

Rookies: Just Edwards (82) for the Cats, while the Swans had  Serong (92), McDonald (69), Edwards (54), Hanily (22) and Rosas (2), who got injured early.

Injuries: Rosas Jnr (ankle) and Papley (calf tightness) listed here for the Swans, while the Cats had Bruhn as a late out.

 

Collingwood (13.14.92) defeated Waalitl Marawar – West Coast (12.10.82)

  1. Bailey Williams (136). Second big score in a row for Williams, 20 touches (18 contested) plus 1 goal, 12 clearances and 28 hitouts.
  2. Darcy Cameron (133). Touted for a big role as the number 1 ruck, having 28 touches (21 contested), 8 clearances, 6 marks and 27 hitouts.
  3. Nick Daicos (124). Dominated early before having some attention, finishing with a super statline of 34 touches, 3 goals, 7 clearances and 578 metres gained.
  4. Tom McCarthy (117). Solid game from McCarthy, his 30 touches and 7 marks down back went @ 90% DE as well as having 8 rebounds from 50.
  5. Jordan De Goey (111). Rounds out the top five with a strong performance of 25 disposals, 6 marks and 7 tackles.

Other 100+ scores: Jack Crisp (103)

Disappointment: Houston (46) had a joke of a score in his 200th.

Rookies: Steele (59) the best of the Pies, with only West (36) and Hayes (30) being the others. Murdock (94) was really good once again for the Eagles, as was Duursma (82). The others ended up being Allan (57), Champion (57), Lindsay (55) and Johnston (43).

Injuries: The Pies got the win but it came at a cost with serious looking injuries to Moore (hamstring) and Elliot (knee). Pendlebury was also listed with wrist/hand but played out.

 

Yartapuulti – Port Adelaide (8.10.58) defeated by Carlton (13.14.92)

  1. Jason Horne-Francis (128). Massive game from JHF with 32 touches (16 contested) plus 3 goals, 5 marks, 8 clearances, 8 inside 50s and 600 metres gained.
  2. George Hewett (126). Back in the team and dominating the middle, finding 26 touches (14 contested) with strong DE of 81%, 6 inside 50s and 1 goal.
  3. Williem Drew (119). The usual output from Drew, his 17 touches (11 contested) were paired with 6 clearances and a game best 11 tackles.
  4. Patrick Cripps (116). Another fine game from Cripps, 32 touches (17 contested) plus 1 goal, 8 clearances and 5 tackles.
  5. Will Hayward (113). The Carlton recruit rounds it all out, as he put together a strong game across the whole ground, finishing with 19 touches, 2 goals and 532 metres gained.

Other 100+ scores: Jagga Smith (108), Sam Walsh (104), Zak Butters (103), Ollie Florent/Logan Evans (100)

Disappointment: The underrated Kane Farrell (66) didn’t see much of it here.

Rookies: Whitlock (69) kept busy for Port, ahead of Lai (62), Marshall (42), Anastasopoulos (37) and Watkins (26). Some great stuff for the Blues with Smith (108) providing his third ton of the year, while Kemp (92), Dean (81), Ison (70), Derksen (67) and Byrne (40) all contributing in the win.

Injuries: Carroll (knee) the casualty here, only lasting about 5 minutes for the Blues.

 

GWS (26.10) defeated Brisbane (13.10.88)

  1. Phoenix Gothard/Clayton Oliver (142). Awesome game from the rookie Gothard, as he found 29 touches (15 contested) plus 10 tackles (6 tackles inside 50) and 2 goals. Vintage Clarry too, his stats were 37 touches (23 contested) plus 11 clearances, 584 metres gained and 8 tackles.
  2. Lachie Neale (114). The best of the Lions, Neale had 32 disposals (16 contested) plus 6 tackles, 1 goal and 10 clearances.
  3. Finn Callaghan (104). 31 disposals and 727 metres gained for Callaghan, who had some heavy attention at times. Also kicked 1 goal and had 7 tackles.
  4. Darcy Wilmot (100). Another ton for Wilmot, this one coming from 27 disposals and 10 marks, 525 metres gained and solid DE of 89%.
  5. Brent Daniels (97). Fine game from Daniels to round out the top five, 24 touches, 2 goals, 8 clearances, 11 inside 50s and 693 metres gained.

Other 100+ scores: Zilch

Disappointment: What the hell is McCluggage (47) doing.

Rookies: Marshall (86) looms as a midfield downgrade after a solid score, while Gallop (68), Tunstill (59) and McKenna (55) will keep their money ticking over. McLachlan (28) the last on the Lions. After Gothard, there was just Gruzewski (78) and Oliver (35).

Injuries: Buckley (hamstring) didn’t last long,  while for those wondering, Whitfield (hamstring awareness) was a super late out.

Western Bulldogs (14.9.93) defeated Naarm – Melbourne (13.12.90)

  1. Ed Richards (140). Super game from Richards, his 30 touches (13 contested) also had 10 clearances, 10 tackles, 773 metres gained and 3 goals.
  2. Marcus Bontempelli (119). 29 touches (17 contested) for Bont, pairing it with 2 goals and 6 clearances.
  3. Ryley Sanders (118). Another stand up game from Sanders, 30 touches @ 83% DE plus 6 marks and 5 inside 50s.
  4. Max Gawn (114). The only Demon to hit the top five, Gawn slowed down late but still did enough from 18 disposals (12 contested), 1 goal and 42 hitouts for another on in 2026.
  5. Aaron Naughton (110). Rounds out the top five thanks to 18 disposals, 2 goals and 3 goal assists in the Dogs tight win.

Other 100+ scores: Rory Lobb/Jack Steele (107), Ed Langdon (105), Kysaiah Pickett (103)

Disappointment: Hope no one went early on Treloar (54)

Rookies: Sharp (71) led the Demons, ahead of Cross (61), Jefferson (47), Laurie (34) and Heath (19). Nothing super for the Bulldogs either, their best being Lewis (61), followed by Jones (52), Croft (48), Hynes (34), Jaques (31) and Sellwood (25).

Injuries: Double dose of concussion in this game for Cleary and Lever.

    Being a Gawn and Xerri owner I am worried
    Xerri is TOG the last 2 wks is very low. Any ideas the reason ?
    Gawn TOG looks ok but spends a lot of time Fwd
    Thinking Gawn to Cameron because if the current situation goes on he will ave the same as Gawn for the remainder of the season and gain $200,000. Thoughts plse
