  1. No Zorko and late outs with Bruhn and Whitfield cost me every game this week…you don’t have to be dead to be stiff.

    • Marshall has to go. Bye this week and BE of 68. The DPP is helpful but he’ll start losing cash next game. Lombard at least has cash to make if you still need cover his bye. Fingers crossed Anderson gets another game before his game to make some more cash. Carroll and Lindsay are safe to hold to their late byes. Lindsay may lose some money but solid on field at least

    • Not all his fault though- spend a whole summer working a guy as an intercept tall when you already have allir, then put him in a dysfunctional forward line with two other focal points and tell him to stand in the corner… set him up to fail in my opinion.

    TU: Bailey Smith
    TD: Brodie Grundy

Byes are not an issue as they are both later in the weeks & will have ensured adequate players on field. Keen on your takes as both can go large & probably won’t both eventually Grundy seems the perfect flex.

    • i would go Smith, slighty cheaper and Grundy isn’t that great a flex, he does give cover if one of your other rucks are injured, but he can only be at flex. where there is plenty of room in the midfield for smith to move into if you want to clear that spot

i hate to say it, but of the key-forward types, if you want to go there, Jeremy Cameron’s run home is insane.

from round 19 onwards, Saints, Melbourne, Collingwood, Essendon, North and Richmond.

i got him in my team last year and watched him finish the year 131, 43, 167, 106, 46 and 129. roller-coaster

  33. Ways to bring in Holmes, Ison, Banfield?

Option 1: Lindsay, Murdoch, Lombard – this option gives me 386k in the bank for next week and i can use that to turn someone into Petracca resulting in no rookies on field for DEF and FWD (pending byes). It does mean i use up the better rookies that have generated cash, but isn’t that what they are there for?

Option 2: T.Marshall, S.Cumming, L.Henry – this gives me 63k in the bank making any upgrades next week harder. leaves the ‘better’ rookies in the team to keep building value. the players coming out though are possibly spuds who might not do much more anyway?

Sitting fourth on the ladder, they meet six defenceless opponents over their next nine games.

Putting Gawn aside, Newcombe is their next best point scorer sitting 44th best S.C. avg., 16th best midfielder, 99.3 avg., will be sitting around 470-480k after his round 14 bye, his best score of the season so far was 136 against the Suns who he plays again in round 15, scored 112 against the Doggies meets them again in round 13.
