SCTTL – Round 10 Review

Written by JimmyDee on May 22 2023

First up coaches, apologies for no review last week but a quick shout out to the top six from round 9 with Andrew’s Snipers at the top with 2304 which was a top 3% overall. Next in order down to 2235 were Lathaz, All Nuns, Mack Attech, Glenboys and Tech Difficulties, all great scores last week.

Now to the big ones this week. We had fifteen Techies score more than 2500 topped by the mighty Chips Ahoy with 2613. Chips had an ordinary “C” (Bont) but had sixteen players over the ton, and that was without loopholes.

Now I do realise there are some monster scores out there in cyberland this week, but our guys who scored 2500+ were ranked between the top 1%-5% in SuperCoach overall. Pretty spectacular from a team that someone else gave you to begin with.

Because all fifteen deserve a congratulatory mention, I’ll do a quick run down summary. Second on the podium this week was Mack Attech with 2597, who was able to masterfully use his loops to advantage and snaffle the scores of Weddle and Wilmot, and skippered Lairdy. Well done. Third spot goes to Glenboys with 2577. Next twelve in order from 2562 down to 2510 were Hazza’s Heros, Ninjas, Steely Mac’s Tech, Ninius, Alza’s Assassins, MBuzz, YeeterTECH, LathazSCTTL, The Jumper Punchers, Wighty Rocks The Tech, Cripps Walk and David Johnson Rules.

MBuzz still sits atop the group with an overall ranking of about 13K, a ranking a lot of Classic players would covet and admire at this stage of a season with so many ups and downs.

One more round till the byes, how are we situated ?  Tell us about your plans and how much coverage you will have for round twelve.

  1. Thought my boys were on the up with a 2374 until all the monster scores bobbed up everywhere in all three leagues. Oh well, at least I’m not ghosting!!

Got the bare 18 for round twelve, but not confident it will score well as there are five rooks and Atkins amongst that lot. Got Hopper to trade and Oliver to deal with with fifteen trades on the table. No idea yet what to do.??

  2. Tough year this year, just can’t get any traction.
Trying to be different to make up the gap, but keep getting burned, this week took Rowell over Merrett due to bye structure and it cost me, hopefully will pay off.

  3. MBuzz performing better then PBuzz
@ 13375 rank . Score this week 2539 which could have been better with Gulden not being captain choice .
    Serong did well on Debut.
15 trades and some thinking to do with Oliver .
Haven’t looked too closely at Byes for Tech team as l don’t have supercoach gold for tech team so could be in for a fall in next few weeks .

    1. I’m in the same position, my main team is looking good for byes but I haven’t spent a lot of time thinking about them for my Tech team as I don’t have Gold for this either!

  4. Few lucky ones this week with Zerrett coming in and Humpty/Weddle on field. Cash drying up though and haven’t even thought about the byes.
