  1. For the first time in years I’m not starting both (which is kinda freakin me out), so:

    TU: Gawn
    TD: Grundy

    1. Interesting point, P.

His role as an interceptor won’t changed but, yeah, maybe any distribution economy he would of had on top on intercepting will be eaten into by Docherty.

    1. word is that Sicily may be out due to COVID/close contact this week so that might make your decision for you

        1. Turns out it was Mcevoy and Breust haha, though I’d still keep an eye and see what’s going on as there could be more guys sitting out

In general though I think Whitfield is more risk/reward while Sicily is more risk less reward, so go with the Whitfield/Chapman combo. Don’t see Hewett being a D6 keeper with all the potential DPPs to come so he’s too expensive at 400k. Good luck mate.

  4. Who scores more this week:

    T/U – JHF (Horne Francis)
    T/D – Ward
midfield loop on these two doesn’t work this week while they play each other!

  5. If I start fyfe.

TU, he scores 150 and everyone jumps on and breaks his shoulders.

    TD, just breaks his shoulders.

    TU: parish
    TD: Brayshaw
What do we have each averaging?
    Brayshaw fixture is extremely friendly.

  7. TU: Sicily
    TD: Baker
Comment – any other reliable DEF around the same price point or potential money-maker.

    Thanks!

    1. I’m rather bullish on Dan Houston in that category. Fits the breakout age and games played profile and just signed a new 4 year contract which should enhance his confidence.

Struggled last year with a neck injury and hardly trained during the season which didn’t help his aspirations of more mid time. Averaged 90 in the two years before that.

    1. Interesting choice you’ve given us, Deano. Kelly’s a better player but more injury prone. He’s also less likely to get rubbed out as much as Merrett. I’d risk him. Kelly for mine.

      1. Thanks mate.

Yes, both have tantalising ceilings but come with risks. Merrett I think will prosper from the tag going to Parish as we witnessed in the final six games of last season.
Kelly’s durability is somewhat problematic but signing the long term deal and becoming a co-captain should motivate him to lead both on and off the track.
