  1. For team balance (ie the Byes) I need to bring in a Round 12 Mid and I already have Cripps.

    TU Walsh
    TD Wines

    Comment on any other suggestions.

    Thanks in advance

    1. In the same boat.

I think that Walsh is a safer pick overall. He does appear to be the one to be pushed down the pecking order for centre bounce rotations now that Hewett has returned Carlton’s midfield, but that didn’t seem to hurt his scoring last week.

Take away the injury affected game and Wines is averaging 111, and went around 115 after his bye last year. The 60k saved could also be really useful for my last couple of upgrades.

No idea which way I’ll go yet. Good luck!

      1. I think he ONLY has Cripps from R12, meaning there is space to accommodate an extra mid on the bench that round.

  2. Steele and Rowell to:

TU: Sicily (via dpp) and Laird – complete backline, Daicos M8
TD: Mills and Brayshaw (freo) – complete midfield, Daicos D6

    T/U Brayshaw saves $20K

    T/D Petracca.

    Thanks folks

    1. A Freo man and you’re not backing Andy!?! Unheard of FT.

I’m on-board Andy. Don’t trust Tracca’s DE% & Andy has the Pies this week and Hawks in R13 where he will be my captain.

What’s your thoughts on the significance of Fyfe’s return in regards to Brayshaw & Brodie’s scoring btw? My take is that it helps not hinders, but you’d have a better read than me.

      1. Still undecided on Trac or Brayshaw. , I may end up with both. One this week one next.

My current Premo Mids are Neale ,Oliver, Macrae, Touk, Cripps, Baz.

Baz may get Forward status .If he does , I would love Mills post bye but I’m not sure I can afford him. I may have to settle for Merrett at M8.

I can’t see Fyfe in hurting Brayshaw. I think Fyfe and Mundy will rotate Forward /Mid. Fyfe underdone may actually force guys like Brodie, Serong and Brayshaw to have higher TOG.

Longmuir actually has said that Brodie may have to play forward a bit to help fit Fyfe into the midfield rotation.

        1. I think I’m with Abs. Reckon Trac and Brayshaw should be pretty similar from here so may as well pick the cheaper guy who plays for your team. SuperCoach is meant to be fun and that makes things a bit more fun doesn’t it?

  4. Using final boost to grab:

    T/U Parker
    T/D Sicily

Unlikely I get the other until after their bye

  5. Working out which position to be my second last upgrade.

TU: upgrade Midfield with McCartin at D6
TD: upgrade defence with Clark at M8

  6. Cogs too Cameron this week?
    That’s Darcy not Leon.

Struggling to pull the trigger on this. Just hoping cogs could get a role change under McVeigh. Wishful thinking?

    1. Cox likely getting named wouldn’t commit to Cameron without seeing Collingwood seeing ruck rotation first

  7. TU: Steele + Ward –> Walsh + Greg Clark
(Save 4th boost, but hold Cogs for one more week).
TD: Steele + Ward + Cogs –> Walsh + Greg Clark + Dawson
(Get off Cogs before inevitable price drop, Dawson is good for my bye structure, but leaves me with only 1 boost).

  8. Need to bring in a defender for Whitfield. Already have Short, Ridley and Hewett. Can trade in anyone but going to wait for Stewart to fall and hold off on Sicily for now

    T/up – Docherty

    T/down – Sinclair

    Comment – Anyone else

  9. Is Sicily worth paying up for? Have to trade out Steele so it’s pretty much a straight swap but there are others like Docherty. Do I get Sicily?

    T/up – Yes do it

T/down – No. Wait for him to drop

  10. Am I crazy to Think of trading B.Crouch for Steele.

    What are the coaches thoughts.

    My fuzzy logic is……

*With Steele being out I’m hoping Crouch’s scoring will increase, but the opposite might be the case

*Save a chunk of cash to help prepare for last upgrades during the byes

    Any insights appreciated

    1. Saints fan here. I’d love the pick but just with so many good mid options it does limit you a little. If saving the 60-90k helps you pull off an upgrade elsewhere then it’s helpful but if you’re picking him just cause he’s cheaper it’s a bit risky. I’d also want to be holding a trade for whenever Steele gets back cause I just don’t think he can average more than 105 with Steele in the same team.

    2. I like it, but wouldn’t do it personally because I don’t think he’s going to be a top 10 mid from here, which means you’ll probably have to use another trade on him near the end of the year.

  11. Do we really think either Khamis or Thompson will provide any DEF coverage later in the year. Or just downgrade to free up cash? Am struggling to justify getting rid of De Koning or McCartin for either. Esp if I can set up the other 2 one FWD the other DEF

    TU Yes
    TD No

    1. Just for cash, won’t want them on field. If Khamis gets DPP that might be useful down the track

  12. D Stephens (Syd) gets back into the 22?
    T/U: Yes soon (hold);
T/D: Not until 3 or 4 players are lost to injury (cut him loose).

  13. Xerri, eased back this week with less game time and lesser SC role, then back to number 1 ruck next week?
    T/U: Yes should make some quick $$ by R14;
T/D: No will play second fiddle to Goldy for a while yet & fizzle SC wise.

  14. Steele Replacement, both have the same bye so doesn’t matter. Am leaning towards Laird, wanted to get him the last couple and I end up going for someone else and he just continues to make me pay.
Laird is cheaper and super consistent but Mills has shown a massive ceiling

    T/U: Laird
    T/D: Mills

  15. Loophole-ing Daicos –

    TU – McComb (Mid)
    TD – Khamis (Def)

Comment – Clark (mid), noting that he plays jjust before Daicos on the Sunday.
