  1. T/U:
    Owens to MacDonald
    McGov to Xerri

    T/D:
    Whitfield to Hewett
    Owens to Caldwell
    McGov to Xerri

  2. Going to trade one to fund other moves, who’s the more concerning pick and less likely to be a Top 8 defender? not worried about cash

    TU: Whitfield

    TD: Ridley

  3. TU:
    Whitfield -> hall
    Mitchell -> Cripps
    $120k in bank

    TD:
    Whitfield -> bowey
    Mitchell -> Brayshaw
    Berry -> Cripps
    $118k bank

  4. Bowey or McCartin 4 foley don’t trust w coast with all the Covid he’s been good but could easily be a late out

  5. Initially said the one trade (McGovern > Xerri) but I can’t resist the Blues train.

    T/U Ridley and Berry > Hewitt and Cripps

    T/D Leave it how it is.

    1. What do you get from this? Still think Berry is good for 70+ which will draw considerable cash growth.

      1. At this stage I’m not doing a trade just wanted to see what people thought. With current averages Xerri will make cash a lot quicker than Berry but I don’t think it will be enough to warrant a trade. Although if Xerri can average 90+ might be a keeper at F6.

        1. Xerri had Lynch (half a game) & Reeves in Round 1.

          Then a ruckman who’s name I don’t know in round 2 against a depleted Eagles.

          I can’t see him being a keeper Alza. Will definitely make cash though. Just don’t think it’s worth the 2 trades required to move Berry and then Xerri later on (especially when Berry should also make $)

        2. I think Xerri is getting a bit overrated. Scored 79 against Hawthorn Reeves and Lynch who had played less than 5 combined games. Also scored 120 against WCE with Williams x 2 at about 5 games combined too.
          He is splitting ruck duties 50/50 with Goldstein which limits scoring potential too. I honestly think his average is around 70-80 from here.

          1. Thanks lads, pretty aligned with my thinking also but that 99 average can trick people into it.
            Will feel good to still have 35 trades coming into rd 4.

  6. Thinking of taking out
    Whitfield, Owen’s and gawn.
    Into Hewett, cripps and l.jackson.
    Any advice appreciated

  7. Whitfield and Chapman out

    TU – Hall and Bowey (correctives, maintain structure)
    TD – Hewett and Houston (bolster DEF, but are they keepers?)

    1. I think Hall will miss a few games this season as he usually gets injured. Overall Hewett + Houston should average more than Hall + Bowey come seasons end considering a rookie will probably have to cover Hall sometimes

  8. I really want to retain Darcy but if he is not named or heaven forbid a ‘late withdrawal’ leaving me with Hayes as R3 – what do I do?

    Freo v WCE teams only being announced Saturday arvo doesn’t help either.

    Hanging out for after round 6 when Xerri will get DPP and this conundrum will be avoided.
    Trade him – thumbs up
    Keep him – thumbs down.

    1. Well that looks pretty decisive!!

      Okay, it is Darcy out and Preuss in.

      Thought of English and Jackson but will have the ruck / forward loop when Xerri gets DPP anyway.

      Press just needs to play and he will make big $’s

  9. Trade-in
    TU: Caldwell
    TD: Bowey

    Same price. Caldwell is probably safer but Bowey with 150 in rolling ave.

  10. You have to give up some thing to get back something so, what would you do?

    TU : Steele, McGovern, Owens for Cripps, Hewett, Stephens
    TD: Whitfield, McGovern, Owens for Cripps, Bowey, Stephens

  11. Didn’t use any trades last week
    T/U:
    Whitfield > Short
    T/D:
    Whitfield > Hall
    Chapman > Bowey
    Comment:
    Whitfield > Bowey
    Chapman > Heeney
    Note that I will be doing Dixon to Hayes on top of this

  12. Head scratcher. I have all the rookies I’d like & only have $35k left before trades

    TU – Whitfield & Chapman > Hewett & Bowey (miss out on Cripps & Heeney)
    TD – Whitfield, Gawn & M.Owens > Hewett, L.Jacobsen & Cripps (Chapman D4)

    1

    3
  13. TU: Using boost
    Whitfield > Hewett
    Gawn > Witts
    Hough > Cripps

    TD: Not activating boost
    Whitfield > Hewett
    Dixon > Xerri

    Thanks

    1. The first trade is just me trying to hop on board the Cripps train and going aggressive with the extra trades knowing I can get gawn back in at some stage. This means tho that Rowell is at my M6 and I have to probably leave one of daicos or Rachelle on the bench.

      The second trade fits my team structure a lot better but unfortunately, I don’t get crippa. Dixon is currently my R3 so I would move hayes to R3 and have Xerri come straight in at F5. Martin would be emergency for tonight with Ned long ready to loophole if he scores big. I would also get to have both Rachelle and daicos on the field but wouldn’t be able to move jack hayes from R3 until xerri gets DPP

      Which trade do you guys like better I liked the first one all week but now leaning towards the second just because of structure even tho I know I probably won’t be able to get Cripps in next week unless Steele has a mare.

      Any suggestions are greatly appreciated
      Thankyou

    T/U Gibcus to O’Driscoll
    T/D Durdin to Maginess

    TD: Whitfield, Chapman, Baldwin -> Hewett, Bowey, Xerri

  16. Toughts on:
    Steele -> L.Neale
    to fund
    Rayner -> G.Hewett (via Cogs DPP)
    I only have $319.9K if i only trade Rayner out
    TU…to the above
    TD…. keep Steele and only trade Rayner for alternative

    Coments welcome.
