    • The curveball here is whether Rozee will get DEF/MID status in the next round of DPP updates. He’s been spending a bit of time in the Port backline lately, does anyone have further info?

      • Rozee as defender

        Rd4: 0%
        Rd5: 90%

Fantasy Freako stated yesterday that Rozee is “On target to get DPP.”

There is still many weeks to go though.

  1. Can only pick one defensive rookie to come in this week as I will be hoping to get Hustwaite in next week:

    TU Busslinger
    TD O.McDonald

  2. St Kilda: Mattaes Phillipou will be a chance for his first game of the year, pending a fitness test during tomorrow’s main training session.

  3. Playing for overall (ranked top 1k), is it worth using a boost this week to bring in Petracca & another boost next week to bring in someone like a Sinclair? Will leave me with 1 boost remaining.

    Tu: 2 x boosts over the next 2 weeks = 2 premos

Td: Downgrade this week & bring in a premo next week, no boost required either week. = 1 premo

    Cheers!

    • Why trade Meek now? He has Richmond this week (who Gawn just shat on), and his price is the highest it’s been all year while his breakeven is the lowest it’s been all year. If you’re playing for long game that’s definitely a hold.

        Correct answer to Maximus question
The Pig Captains said Meek will be the highest scoring ruckman over the next four weeks
Nice start last weekend so Maximus DON”T trade
        Good luck

  4. Can’t afford a premo defender this week, so might wait for Sinclair. However, I could do with a bit of assistance with my forward line – who to trade in this week?

    TU : Rankine
    TD: Petracca

  5. I am tempted to not trade this week but FOMO has me considering daicos or petracca

    TU Short&Moraes >Petracca & Hustwaite
    TDShort&Ashcroft > Naicos&Hustwaite

Which is the better trades. Thanks

  6. M Reid and Davidson out for:

    TU: Rankine and Hustwaite
    TD: Rozee and Brock

I know Brock isn’t playing but he lets me loophole between Stone and Z Reid plus gets me Rozee who feels like more of a must have

  7. Top 400, thinking of ditching the dream though and playing for leagues.
Available rookies are as thin as a Fingal ferret. So
T/U T Stewart is broken so trade plus Moraes or such & In any Premo ( like Neale) plus Hust.
    T/D No. Go to bed

  8. Need to trade Trainor, only have 436k ITB.

    TU: Freijah
    TD: Rivers

Comment for alternate options: hold and wait for a decent downgrade option to become available next week so I can trade him to a proper premo. I could also wait a week and get Stewart (when he returns from injury)

  9. A lot of people seem to be tossing up between Rankine and Petracca this week (myself included). The general consensus appears to favour Rankine. Just wondering what peoples thought processes are in picking one over the other. Cheers

    • I think it’s mostly doubts over whether Petracca is really “back”. His scoring history is much better than Rankine’s (four straight seasons of 110+ is uber premium in anyone’s language), but last week was his first ton for the year and it was against Richmond. Is that enough to assume he will be a top six forward this year?

For what it’s worth, I started Rankine and am bringing in Petracca this week. My thinking is that Christian was basically in a car accident last year and it was always going to take a month or two for him to get his confidence back, even for someone as naturally self-confident as he is!
