  1. TU FOS Tsatas Hastie > Henderson Lash Lindsay + $80k
Probably Perryman to Bice next week or can upgrade Perryman

TD FOS Perryman Tsatas > O Sullivan Lash Lindsay + $240k
Can also get Bice next week for Prior if needed or upgrade Flynn or Short with the $240k

  3. My proposed trades for round 3.
Out – Leake Boxshall (or FOS if Boxshall plays) Gawn
In – NOD Lindsay and Rankin.
I am holding Sanders this week as he has a very achievable BE
I still have Perryman (who won’t lose value this week) and will probably become Bice if he is named for round 4.
I have also changed my philosophy on the flex position.
Better to have an extra consistent rookie scoring 80’s earlier in the season to enhance $ generation.
Later in the season better to have someone one like Flynn who gives ruck cover when you are running low on trades.

  4. I’m very worried about Rankine’s hammy “awareness” when he was subbed on the weekend. I’m avoiding him now for that reason but not a lot of options for premium forwards. Hopefully with DPP in a few weeks, there maybe better variety.

    • I’m a bit surprised the majority have said FOS. I know He has shown a wore scoring potential but Tsatas is guatanteed to not make money for 2 weeks and then isnt even a lock to return with Parish available by then. What am I missing?

  5. Asked this in the previous one, still can’t make a decision.

    Jayden Short:

TU – get rid of him

    TD – one more week

Any insight from those who watched him would be handy.

    • As a Richmond fan the role he used to have isn’t there anymore which is a worry. Not taking kick-ins getting minimal on the run handballs. It says a lot when you have Ben Miller taking kick-ins over him. Ive started him in my team the last 3 years and it’s always been a trap. Could I see him scoring well this weekend, yes but not consistently moving forward.

  7. JHF > Rankine
    Hastie > Lindsay
    FOS > O’driscall

Allows me to get JHF discounted for Sanders when Treloar / Bont return

    TU or TD

    • Trading out JHF with the plan to get him back in, for a player with hamstring history who was subbed last week for “injury awareness”?

  9. Is it worth bringing in Connor O’Sullivan?

Concerned slightly with Kolodjashnij 1 week away and Stewart a test this week.

  10. FOS a hold now over Tsatas?

Fos only needs one spike score to get his cash gen moving, also likely to gain DPP and should be safe job security wise in that side.

Tsatas on reduced minutes as it is, with Parish set to return shortly, becomes a bit of a job security risk.

    Who goes out this week:

    Tu: Fos
    Td: Tsatas

  11. Tom Stewart a test this week. I’ll likely hold if he’s given the green light. Should I trade if not?

TU: Trade him before he drops in price.
TD: Hold, he’s a premo, injury sounds minor.

  12. Really struggling with this decision…

Was planning on trading WAshcroft to Callaghan this week. Haven’t been impressed at all with Will, especially up until 3qtr time on the weekend. But a massive last qtr and a bit of a bake from Llordo might get him going. I am a little concerned about some attention Callaghan may get in the future too, but he’s so smooth.

Anyway, should I trade WAshcroft -> Calaghan?

TU – Yes, trade WAshcroft -> Callaghan
TD – No, too sideways, back WAshcroft in a little longer.

    Thanks

  13. Is Sheezel a worry for you? He’s getting plenty of possessions but about half are handballs. Is it because he’s in heavy traffic or copping a tag ? Plus I wonder is he getting enough CBA’s as last season? Can’t help but think the inclusion of Parker and Daniel along with some improvements from Simpkin and Powell affecting him around the ground. Thoughts?

  16. Appreciate feedback on this thought bubble.

Currently ranked 37k after a terrible Round 2 which saw me tumble 31k spots… needless to say I’m giving my team a serious look this week for ways to improve not only this week but through the entire season.

    1. My premium picks haven’t fired (Sheezel, Gawn, and JHF)
    2. The mid-price picks are duds (Perryman, Peatling, Sanders, and Flynn), and
    3. I don’t have Levi Ashcroft who I think is a must have rookie.

    So this week…
    OUT: Sheezel, Gawn, JHF
    IN: Sinclair, Rozee, Ashcroft

Move Flynn from Flex to R2 through the early byes; if he plays great, if not it’s best-18

    Next week…
    OUT: Perryman, Peatling, Paton
    IN: Whitfield, Dawson, Bice

    Following week…
OUT: Flynn, Sanders, Rookie TBC any line
IN: Xerri/RoMa/Briggs, Rookie TBC any line

    Coaches Verdict…
Tu: Don’t do that, you’ve lost the plot
Td: Give it a whirl, you can always start planning for next year early

      • hey FJW – It’s a great prompt…

I had considered bringing in 3 premos for outgoing underperformers. I really didn’t want to hamstring my cash generation over the course of the season, hence the Levi inclusion this week. Plus, felt that I might be able to get away without a fully fielded team over the next 2 rounds given it’s Best-18.

however, you have given me food for thought that maybe I should consider Xerri as a direct replacement over Sinclair or Rozee in this round… so, thanks for that!

  17. Hypothetically if I was trading my Petracca (Pending upon rookie selections). Who to bring in

T/U: Dunkley (Monster R1, May be too hard to get in future, super consistent)

T/D: Dawson (started on fire but crows have been dominant, goes up forward to avoid the tag, but is 50k cheaper)

    Comment: Someone cheaper Callaghan/Cerra/Rozee etc

  18. Trading in which one would you prefer (as Perryman replacement)

    TU : B Dale
    TD : Whitfield or Sinclair

Thinking Dale as he is due to increase by the most this week, and then if Short sucks again, he can be traded up next week to Whitfield or Sinclair?

  19. Have already done:
    1. FOS to Ashcroft
    2. Flynn to Linsday via Flex

Do I boost to trade Paton to Connor O’Sullivan before the price increase?

    TU: Make the trade
    TD: Not worth a boost
