  3. Is R Atkins body good to go. Also what is his JS like?
Any crows or Suns supporters got any insight?

    Tu worth 200k

    1. When he left the Crows I was a bit miffed as he was good value and a bit of X factor back then. Since his arrival at the Suns he never achieved near as much and was largely out of favour. However, he now seems to have a new SC friendly role roaming half back (22 D 18 K last week), but I’d wait and see if he’s named in the same side as Weller before jumping on. My two bob’s worth.

    2. Heard a whisper that he did not train today. The Suns have a few regulars back this week. Don’t be surprised if Atkins isn’t named tomorrow night

  4. TU Grundy & Greene & Ashcroft > Gawn & Drury & Dawson (or similar)
TD Grundy & Greene & Chandler > Gawn & Drury & Ziebell (leaves me with cash)
(Leaves me with 19 trades and 2 boosts)

Comment Wait a week on Dawson and Ziebell and hold the boost and trade

  5. Posting again in this thread for updated opinions.
Ashcroft and JVR > Weddle and Petracca/Stewart.
    TU: Petracca
    TD: Stewart

    14
  6. TU: Ashcroft and Hollands -> Weddle and Dawson (18 trades, 2 boosts left)

TD: Ashcroft, Hollands, Bailey Dale -> Drury, Dawson, Gulden (17 trades, 1 boost left)

  7. I have to pare these five outs down to three:
    – Ridley (concussion, plus he was not playing well – has to go)
    – LDU (no injury, just not playing well and will lose cash – likely the same result)
    – Setterfield (could hold but don’t want to lose more cash)
    – Ashcroft (not making money but probably won’t lose much either, likely hold)
    – RoMo (if out with injury, I can cover with SRyan, or go to Gawn).

I was planning on doing two up one down – likely Docherty, Oliver, and Atkins at this stage but will have to wait for teams and probably look at my bye structure.

    1. Romo is fine will play, Ashcroft hold. LDU tbink comes good his DE was horrible last game would of scored better had of been cleaner. Still think he can put up premo numbers. At worst a m8/m7.
Setterfield/Ridley would be my two main options if you had to pick 2.

  9. Heard a podcast talking about Mitch Knevitt (Geelong ) as a rookie option.

Might bring in him and Stuart this week. Stuart could go huge vs Richmond and don’t want to be priced out

McKenna + chase Jones > Stuart + Knevitt

Waiting on team news but will probably boost

Want to 2 up one down next week to get Cameron and Zerrett. (Or parish) so thinking about going early on Dury.

    1

    2
    1. Depends what else it opens up for you. If you need the cash this week, go Drury. If you can afford to go Weddle, go Weddle. Also depends on team line-ups.

  10. TU: Ashcroft, Hollands, Dale -> Dawson, Drury, Gulden

TD: Ashcroft, Chandler, Dale -> Dawson, Drury, Parish

Basically comes down to getting rid of Hollands or Chandler and getting in Gulden or Parish. Love Gulden’s value right now but think Parish is the better long term option with the much higher ceiling.

  11. To any Bulldogs fans out there, what’s the story with Bailey Dale? Is he injured, role change, or just been rubbish? His scoring has been really bad, like I’ve got bench rookies scoring better than him, not even an underperforming premo anymore, he’s genuinely getting 50s-60s most weeks. Is there any chance he turns it around? Or have Richards/JJ taken over his usual role?

TU: get rid of him, he’s no hope

TD: might still turn it around, hold on

  12. TU – Trade out JVR for Drury this week (allows me an upgrade to Stewart with the 2nd trade) OR
TD – Trade out Baker for Weddle this week to do the same upgrade

I know Drury isn’t on the bubble until next week but I can’t afford Stewart if I trade in Weddle – unless I trade out Baker instead of JVR – not my preferred option.

    15

    1. Like Witts Bye and match up this week with WC

Gawn is cheaper and could get forward status. If you don’t have many round 14 Bye players I would probably go Gawn due to price and potential future ruck cover.

    TU: O.Baker > gulden, Ridley > L.Ryan
    Or
TD: Ashcroft > Gulden, Ridley > Dawson

  14. I see a of SC’s going a week early on Drury (51 points). Is T Berry (GCS) (57 points) worth considering?

Does any anyone have any idea of Berry’s JS?

    TU: Berry
    TD: Drury

    1

    8
    1. Wasn’t sure on Berry- watched the game snd didn’t really impress me. Reckon JS a key with this argument- Drury likely to get more chances and was in early talk at beginning of year as being impressive.

  15. I’m pretty sure I know the answer to my own question, but:

Having both Danger and Adam “Trelacking a hamstring”, do I hold one or ship em both off?

    TU – Hold one (Danger)
    TD – Sell both

  16. Out: Ashcroft, Mckenna, JVR
In: Oliver, Drury, Weddle and plenty of cash for next round

    Or

    Out: Ashcroft, Mckenna, JVR
In: Gulden, Anderson, Drury and no left over cash so will have to wait a week or 2 for Oliver

  17. Van Rooyen, Greene and Ashcroft – Drury, Atkinson, T. Stewart.
    Yes or no?
Can only afford drury as a rookie if I wanted to afford Stewart. But Atkins and Stewart are great for my bye weeks. Any other thoughts would please comment

  18. Port Adelaide’s bid to free Junior Rioli from suspension has failed with the AFL Tribunal slapping the dynamic forward with a two-match ban.
But the Power were able to save Rioli from a three-match ban, arguing the 27-year-old’s strike on Essendon defender Jordan Ridley was severe instead of high impact.

  19. I need to use my 4th boost to get Dawson/Stewart this week. Leaves me with 1 boost.

TU: No worries, get the premo now
TD: Save the boost & get Dawson/Stewart in a week or 2

    13

    2
  20. Initial thinking is pre team confirmation is Greene, McKenna > Weddle, Ziebell.

However should I also go Davey > Atkins? Would leave me with 1 boost which ill save for the last bye.

TU: Yes, will make quick cash and cover me over the bye period.
TD: Save it for a cheaper rookie that comes later in the year

  21. Long time reader first time writer am really stumped on these 2….

    tu – Brayshaw – 531k

    td – Anderson – 605k

Prices taken into consideration, am wanting to bring in Merrett next week.

  24. Out Ridley Davey

  25. Ashcroft + Mckenna -> Steele + Drury
    then…
TU Last boost Chandler -> Gulden
TD Wait for Chandler -> Darcy Cameron next week

It is unlikely I will be able to fit both into the forward line

    1

    10
    1. If you’re trying to get value from a trade of a premium at least go to a fallen premium like Steele or Mills and bank some cash

      2

  26. Don’t want to pay the money for Atkins and I don’t think he has good JS.
I have Drury. Million dollar question. Who is the cheap rookie who hasn’t played, high draft pick due to be given his chance and when he does will go alright?

    0

    2
    1. Ooof. That’s tough, Stephen.

Sharp (BRIS) and Berry (GCS) should line up for their 2nd games this weekend up don’t have the best JS or scoring.

Maybe Fahey (GWS)? They’ve said he’s close but clearly being kept out of the side by Ash and Whitfield. Montgomerie (ESS) could also get a gig but think the Dons continue to reshuffle rather than give him a permanent spot.

Honestly, I would re-think your trade plans instead of raw dogging a dead rookie.

  27. Should I be looking to boost to get Macrae out?

Don’t love his role but figured I could hang on til his bye but it’s starting to look a bit grim.

T/U – Boost and get Macrae out for T Stewart (or Steele – comment)
T/D – Hold until his bye

  28. TU: Baker, Greene, Cowan > Bont, Drury, Weddle

TD: Ashcroft, Greene > Bont, Weddle

Bottom trade mainly let’s me save Drury as a downgrade target next week to maybe facilitate another upgrade then.

  29. Like many others my team is far from finished..

This week I focus my attention to my defence, my D1,D2,D3 is Stewart, Daicos, Sicily…

I have enough $ in the bank to upgrade Michalanney to any another premo defender.

My question, as I still have work to do is it worth wiping my balance to zero and get:
    TU: Dawson
Or save some coin and get
TD: Sinclair (and be left with AROUND $110k for future upgrades)

  30. Tu: gawn this week & get Cameron down track for F6/R2 swing

TD: witts this week & get gawn or Dcam at F6 down track.

    9

    3
  31. TU: Ashcroft, Hollands & Wilmot to Docherty, Weddle & Gulden with $51,300

TD: Ashcroft, Hollands & Marshall to Docherty, Weddle & Gawn with $334,800

Prior to these trades, my keepers are as follows:
DEF – Dawson, Daicos, Stewart, Ryan & Day
MID – Bontempelli, Oliver, Green & Brayshaw
    RUC – English & Marshall
FWD – Taranto, Dunkley, Rozee, Coniglio & Sheezel

  32. The rat is projected to make 100k in 3 weeks ans weddle may not make 100k at all by season end if he can’t get games.

    TU: weddle
    TD: Ratkins

  33. Checking Coaches thoughts on this weeks downgrade targets.

    T/U – Atkins
    T/D – Weddle

I would include Drury but would prefer bubble boys.

  34. Hi guys,
TU do i trade Ridley and Rachelle to Atkins and Gulden as both will lose about 30K and Ridley out
or TD Keep Ridley and trade Gibney and Rachelle to Atkins and Gulden…
    Thanks for any comment…

    1. Carry on from above post
      TU/TD: JVR ginbey -> weddle brayshaw $7k

This move allows me to keep ascroft and mckenna

      3

      1
  35. T/U Ridley/Philipps to Dawson/Drury $32.6k
T/D Do that plus burn an extra trade Grundy to Gawn $51.8K

  36. Is it worth trading in Drury early to get Gulden before his price rise for my second last forward spot.

    TU: trade away.
    TD: hold your horse.

    13

  37. What’s the consensus on Parish? I know Essendon said they are waiting for scans, but I have a feeling there will be a conservative approach and he will miss multiple weeks. If that’s the case, hold or trade?

    TU: Hold
    TD: Trade

    6

    1
  38. With Parish missing at least one week, is it worth keeping Setterfield?

He was on my chopping block but with games against Brisbane, Richmond, WCE & Nth in the next 4 weeks, I am having a re think.

He has proven with higher CBA’s he produces higher scores.

    T/U Keep Setterfield

    T/D Trade Setterfield

    3

    11
  39. Does Tom McCartin out with concussion complications mean Mills will have to spend more time down back?

    6

    1
  40. Had planned on trading out McKenna & JVR for Drury and Stewart, but now thinking none of those trades are a must do for this week, so maybe I will have my first week of NO trades – which makes me break out in a sweat – I have a trade addiction!

TU : Do the 2 trades – getting rookies off the field for premiums is a must do as quick as possible. Without trading, I will have 6 onfield rookies this week.
TD: Good trades but wait a week as neither McKenna & JVR are predicted to lose money and Drury is still on the bubble, and Stewart’s price won’t alter much.

    8

    2
    1. IMO Macca and jvr points ceiling around 140. Not much cas gen at the likely 110 between them.Stewart alone point ceiling around 160 plus drury cash and points… easy call for me if you want to trade

      1

      0
  41. Is using my second last boost to go Hollands > Atkins worth it (have 18 trades left after it)? If i do it, I have $102k in the bank which is enough for me to use two trades to get Darcy Cameron next week. I dont think hollands will generate much more cash either.

Worst case is he gets dropped next week and ill loose $40k compared to keeping hollands another week.

    1

    3
  42. 21 trades left 2 boosts
TU: Ashy, JVR, Wilmot > Clarry, Weddle, Atkins
TD: Hold rookies do no trades

    5

    1
  43. TU Roll the dice on McKenna beating his BE trade out Greene . The upgrade that way

TD trade out McKenna. Do Greene to Dury next week. It won’t cost you money

    3

    2
  44. Is Gould only in cause Tom McCartin is out with Concussion?

    TU Yes
TD Maybe, but might get a run of games with Paddy out indefinitely

    3

    1
  45. Tu: mills
    Td: brayshaw

In a season where cash gen is very hard to come by, feel as though we should be looking to lock in on of these guys around the 520k mark.

    2

    2
    1. I have two plans……

      If Marshall certainty
      T/U Ridley/Grundy/Phillips > Drury/Gawn/Dawson $51.8k

If I want to be cautious about Marshall…no cover
      T/D Ridley/Grundy/Marshall > Doch/Gawn/ROB $120k

T/D means Drury next week, better cash, better bye structure. Can’t afford a donut as season on the line. It also means I can hold Marshall/ROB trade until Sunday as they play at the same time…might even then save a trade.

      TU brayshaw
TD Anderson (have to use boost, 1 boost left after this week and 18 trades)
