I’m in the same predicament, but leaning towards Martin going first since he has the R12 bye and Daicos has R14. Whichever one doesn’t go this week will be there until their bye for me, and this arrangement suits my bye structure better
Again, seems the reaction is very mixed lol. Curious to hear people’s thoughts. I don’t think I have anyone else to downgrade for Clark. Am I overestimating how good of a pick-up he would be? Is Sicily not the guy?
I’m really thinking whether Clark is a must now with Steele an unexpected trade. I’m pretty happy with current rookies, but will look to trade Cogs and Hayes by r12. Clark is suddenly not as important, though a round 14 upgrade via Daicos looks inviting.
Not sure why so many thumbs down (maybe some people read your post incorrectly thinking you were asking for a thumbs up or thumbs down on your two trades???), but those two trades look good to me.
Nick Martin has been an awesome rookie. A good case could be made to keeping him as he is consistent & a couple of years older than most rooks – but he did play a bit forward on the weekend?
And IMO he definitely plays his best footy as a wing / midfielder – not as a forward.
Clark should be a great SC rookie, so in theory he can be your M8 for a while – he is mature aged, tackles hard, and wins a heap of contested footy (plus he was a sensational leader in the WAFL).
And whilst Gibcus is getting better & better, Sicily is absolutely on fire & will be a top 6 DEF – plus champion data seem to also love him (which definitely helps) 🙂 🙂
Thoughts on Brad Crouch in the midfield? Averaging 103 with 140 last week. Only one poor week (Cairns). No Jack Steele meaning he’ll be getting more of the ball
He is a fine option mate, however you will be buying him saying you believe he is going to be top 8 mids. I think he will be lucky to be top 16 tbh. I think the top 8 all averaged over 115 last year. So we just gotta pay up for our premo mids this year!
If your super flush with trades he may work as a stop gap for 6 weeks while Steele is out. You won’t want him in your team after that. Most good teams will have a Petracca or Brayshaw at M8 by years end. Crouch will cost you wins if you’re forced to keep him long term.
He’s kicked at 53 per cent efficiency or lower in six matches this year. His overall kicking efficiency of 51.7 per cent is the worst of top 20 ball winners in the competition.
Gidday all,
I am suggesting its a hold on all GWS trades until we see what the new coach does. Just maybe he plays then in their correct positions as he needs wins to boost his coaching future.

Hey coaches, I’m thinking of bringing McGovern into my defence this week.
I currently have : Crispy, Hewett, Zorko and Ryan as premiums, McCartin would be my D6. I can afford any other premo except Stewart. McGov would leave me 115K for future trades…but concerned about continued H/S protocols affecting WC. If I get Sicily I’m left with 17k. Dawson is another in great form…
T/U: McGov and 115K itb
T/D: Sicily and 17k itb
comment: Dawson and 78k itb
Ah ok, well aside from that if money allows it, you should try trade a 300k+ rookie to a premo (or possibly 2 rookies to 2 premos with a trade boost).
Personally I feel that’s better use of the 430k youd need to go from Stephens to Laird, that should allow you to get two 550k premos onfield that avg 105+ rather than one 120 avg + one 50 avg rookie
Appreciate the input mate. I understand what you are saying and I feel like hewett is a great piece at the moment. I want to try and get the best players obviously in each line, I feel as though laird will average more than someone like a Brayshaw who is well priced. I would rather wait a week and get the better premium if that makes sense. Cheers!
I haven’t read the Hun article, but I believe Baz is very close, Bont & Boak are maybes, and Gawn is an outside chance if he spends bulk time forward for the next two weeks. If all get DPP, the top forwards probably look something like:
Thanks CA, I’m thinking Baz now (low BE) then Boak after that low score washes through his price (maybe even if he doesn’t snag DPP). I’ve also carried English on the bench.
I think if you can get Baz now, you’ll be way ahead of the pack come round 12, when everyone else is paying $580k for him. He has West Coast in two weeks and could peak right after his bye.
The risk is obviously if he plays pure mid for the next two weeks and misses out on DPP. We could easily get Bevo’d.
The other problem is squeezing another Dog into our teams.
If you can, try to hold McCartin for at least 1 more week with a low break even of 13.
He should go up by around $25,000 this week.
Personally I think you should get rid of NOD & Steele & Gibcus (rather than Cogs) – but can you bring in Dawson, Petracca & Clark if you get rid of those three players?
Unfortunately not Brett, that would be ideal but im 6k short. Not many other options below Tracca worth bringing in, unless I trade Daicos ahead of Gibcus, I can then afford Trac.
His bye is R12. Not really worth sideways trading R12 premium players at their bye as you only get 2 scores out of the traded in player over the byes. Therefore trade now if you are going to trade him I reckon. Or hold till after the byes and pray.
Yep – there is some hard calls coming with blokes like Nick Martin, Nick Daicos, McCartin, Preuss, Rowell, Cogs, Butters etc
Do we try and keep some of them for long term cover – or do we use the cash they have made to upgrade them (excluding Butters of course as his price has gone backwards).
If that is Fremantle’s Brayshaw, then I like those trades 🙂
But I prefer Petracca over Brayshaw (at pretty much the same price) if you don’t already have him.
I think many Supercoaches fears have unfortunately come to fruition this season, seems that the extra trades and trade boosts has made it too easy for everyone to (a) get to full premo very quickly, and (b) sides becoming very similar.
Supercoach will always be enjoyable for mine, but I’m hoping some readjustments are made next year post covid.
I think other changes are necessary as well such as kick-ins having reduced scoring.
Does anyone else agree? And if so what potentially changes do you think would make the game a little more interesting?
I do think the DPP changes are good, perhaps teams will start to feel different if Bont, Gawn, Smith etc gain DPP, “if” they happen which looks unlikely.
I agree teams are currently looking very similar but have enjoyed the extra trades and DPP changes.
I was completely over SC and how subjective the scoring was last year and contemplated not playing in 2022 after playing for 10+ years. But those changes have brought some enjoyment back and got me back into it.
Reckon teams will start to see more variety after the byes and towards the back of the year with some burning their boosts while others have saved them.
Agree also about kick-ins. Never understood why they score so much.
If you take out Ryan’s outlier 157 game, Daicos has been scoring better this season + still may have money to make whereas Ryan is bleeding cash every week, seems to also be nursing an injury. He’s also a POD so it hurts me much more if he scores poorly.
Considering my next few trades (order subject to BEs):
Hayes to a ruck/fwd $102k loophole (plus $200k)
McCartin to English (minus $250k)
McComb to a fwd/def $102k loophole (plus $150k)
Chapman to Stewart (minus $170k)
Preuss to Gawn (minus $100k)
$190k to turn Cogs or Butters into a premo mid

Is anyone keeping track of who has had Covid in recent months (& thus less likely to fall victim anytime soon)? It may become as significant a factor as proneness to injury. Note that even Crisp may miss this week.
Hi Tryhard,
Crisp most likely has the flu as does Steele Sidebottom.
I am unaware of any data base that has the information about players who have had covid.
Except the Government health department and they would never break confidentiality.
The AFL always refer to “cases” as Health and Safety Protocols. I guess maintaining confidentiality.
Pre -season there was little information from clubs. I guess someone could go through season injury reports to collate a list but it would be incomplete and of little value. IMO.
Having covid previously doesn’t preclude the chance of another infection. (different variables)
Steel out.
TU -Sic, finishes backline. Lloyd my worst defender.
TD- bont, due to go on a hot run soon underpriced and of course possible DPP. Leaving a spot for another uber mid.
Can anyone please point out where we can obtain stats regarding a player’s field position coverage percentage? E.g Bailey Smith might be playing 65% mid, 35% fwd – where do I find that sort of info out?
Chaos Theory I’m looking at you!
It was just in the Herald Sun article but as someone who doesn’t pay, you can find it on Twitter which is where all the most up to date SuperCoach information gets shared. Definitely game changingly helpful being on there for data.
Hey guys,
what is Zorkos role at the lions over the past couple rounds? Have missed their games the past couple of weeks, however, Zorko has 3 round average of 115 and is looking like a nice option. This is following a pretty bad start of the year.
He’s left the half back line with Coleman returning and now playing a blended MID-FWD role. Getting great purchase with those bursts on ball and then, of course, when he comes up to stoppages.
Good bye as well, I like him as an option. Injury profile a concern but capable of spitting out 120s.
Abs opened Fallen Premiums with him, I’d give that a read as well:
Yep I got him last week and he was good. I’ll be nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs for the rest of the year though. Age and injury history are against him, but if you can ignore that he’s a fantastic scorer!
Need to trade Steele and I’ve already got Neale, Oliver, Macrae, Miller, Laird and Cripps.
There’s been a lot of talk about trading in Petracca and Brayshaw who are both viable options. However, I’ve been looking at Parish whos had only 2 scores below 100 which have both been in the high 90’s.
I started him and been an absolute headf*ck. A ways off his damaging CP best last year. He’s stuck playing a ridiculous system that boxes the Dons midfield into overusing, being handball happy and rarely biting off anything audacious I50.
Add to that, his effort has just been poor. Laid one tackle last week only 300~ MG from 31 touches.
Wouldn’t go Racca either. His style of play means he’s a perennial butcher and often subtons. Nothing more frustrating than seeing a premo MID get 30+ and not ton.
Brayshaw a solid Top 8 pick, sure, but if you can ball out for Mills or Laird then that’s the play imo.
Appreciate your input Gunboat. I agree the Dons are playing some poor football atm and Parish isn’t thriving as much as he could be. But he’s still got an average of 114.7 which is actually 0.6 points higher than last year! And he is still churning out some decent scores. Wouldn’t say he’s been the worst pick.
I also agree with your take on Petracca.
I already have Laird in my team and am thinking of picking up Mills after his bye in hope that he falls in price.
Feel like Brayshaw might be the way to go at this stage then. Hoping Fyfe’s return doesn’t affect him too much!
Tim English (flu) “Still very low in energy. He’s easing himself back into some training. We will be conservative in his re-load & confirm his return to play once he’s healthy & training with intensity.” Chris Bell, Head of Sports Med.
Luke Parker had 18 CBAs last weekend, the highest for Sydney.
I’d be really cautious with English. He’s sounding pretty crook so even if he gets up he won’t be 100% but I also saw that he might be out for two more weeks anyway. Reckon no matter what I’d want to see him play again before just trading him in.
$38,400 ITB, 21 Trades Left (2 Boosts)
DEF: J. Sicily, J. Crisp, J. Short, J. Sinclair, G. Hewett, H. Chapman (P. McCartin, S. De Koning)
MID: L. Neale, C. Oliver, J. Steele, J. Macrae, T. Miller, P. Cripps, N. Daicos, J. Carroll, (J. Horne-Francis, J. Ward, R. McComb)
RUCK: J. Witts, B. Preuss (S. Hayes)
FWD: J. Dunkley, W. Brodie, S. Coniglio, Z. Butters, N. Martin, L. Parker (M. Rioli, J. McEntee)
Ran a rookie as M8 last week (scored 29), b/c JHF DNP. Not risking that again, therefore thinking:
Steele > Laird
Cogs > Cheapest FWD/DEF DPP Player (Enables swinging McCartin/SDK to D6, and $$$ for the 2 premo mids)
JHF > Possibly Parish (Suggestions? $33k short of Mills)
Nick Martin -> Who? Can afford anyone, have Sicily, Hewett, Crisp, Short, Dawson, Macrae, Laird, Oliver, Brayshaw, Cripps, Neale, Dunkley, Heeney. Can DPP for any position except ruck.
Thanks
Last week traded out Bowey & Dixon > Miller (via N.Daicos DDP) & Rioli
Obviously Steele is something that needs to go but is there anything else that I should do.
My current team before trades:
DEF: Sicily, Crisp, Hewett, Ridley, N.Daicos, McCartin (Gibcus, Sinn)
MID: Neale, Oliver, Miller, Macrae, Cripps, Steele, Brodie, JHF, (Ward, McComb, Hollands)
RUC: Gawn, Preuss (S.Hayes)
FWD: Dunkley, Parker, Cogs, Butters, N.Martin, Durdin (M.Rioli, C.MacDonald)
$57,400 in the bank, 25 trades left, three trade boosts left
Any feedback/advice is greatly appreciated
Yeah agreed mate, if we hold onto Cogs this week it means that we basically need to hold him till we are full premo meaning he will be a luxury trade later on. Very tough situation!
Better trade:
TU: Daicos > Petracca/Walsh
TD: Martin > Oliver
Dont have the funds to go daicos too oliver unfortunately
Bigger priority to get out
TU:Daicos
TD:Cogs
TU: Walsh
TD: Petracca
Steele > Macrae
MacDonald > Clark
TU – Use 4th trade boost (20 trades remaining) to upgrade Whitfield
TD – Keep Whitfield (21 trades left, 2 boosts)
Getting Laird and brother it feels fantastic.
As for the downgrade to make it happen; Gibcus to
T/U: Khamis
T/D: Thompson
Holding Cogs and Butters till I get all rookies off field, so who goes first
TU – Daicos
TD – Martin
I’m in the same predicament, but leaning towards Martin going first since he has the R12 bye and Daicos has R14. Whichever one doesn’t go this week will be there until their bye for me, and this arrangement suits my bye structure better
This got a very mixed thumbs reaction so putting it up here again with context.
Martin > Clark
Gibcus > Sicily
Martin is M8 for me as of now, I have 3 MID rookies on the bench. My D4 is Daicos, the DEF line needs bolstering.
Also, Martin and Gibcus are both Rd 12 byes – I need to prepare for my byes and Rd 12 needs the most love.
@Jov – g’day!!

And whilst Gibcus is getting better & better, Sicily is absolutely on fire & will be a top 6 DEF – plus champion data seem to also love him (which definitely helps) 🙂 🙂
Hi Brett any chance you could call Truck and let him know that Martin is not a FWd.
Much obliged
@ Bomber – sorry, but might struggle with trying to persuade Truck to play Nick Martin in the MIDS
Used to have some favour with the previous coach – but not this one 🙁 🙁
I commented on exactly this point elsewhere. I also said I could coach bombers for lots less than Truck !!
Rowell, Steele, Coniglio to Laird, Macrae, Clark
Hey lads, legit .2k off getting laird so is Sam Walsh the next best option to replace steele ?
Already have mcrae, neale, cripps, touk, petraca & Rowell
Walsh doesn’t really suit my byes but may have to bite the bullet
I also have brayshaw too in my midfield ^^^
Steele > Laird
Cogs > Clark
Daicos > Docherty
360k itb for upgrades to premos (SDK > Stewart & N.Martin > Dusty/Parker)
TU – Use last trade boost (16 trades remaining) to upgrade Daicos
TD – Keep Daicos (17 trades left, 1 boost)
Who to trade for Clark
TU: Martin
TD: cogs
Steele + JHF > Laird + Clark
Leaves $424k in the bank + 18 trades, so do I..
TU: Use boost Dixon > Premo ruck (Either Witts or Gawn most likely) get Hayes off the field.
TD: Give it a week to save the boost.
TO-Steele
TU-Keays

210k ITB for Oliver next week trade.
Cheers All !

I agree Damo.
If your super flush with trades he may work as a stop gap for 6 weeks while Steele is out. You won’t want him in your team after that. Most good teams will have a Petracca or Brayshaw at M8 by years end. Crouch will cost you wins if you’re forced to keep him long term.

You can excuse that poor week in Cairns..it was super hot, humid, steamy, wet & greasy weather! (as usual for the Tropics)
Who to trade out ?
Rowell TU
Nick Martin TD (forward)
Both to whatever premium
Gidday all,
I am suggesting its a hold on all GWS trades until we see what the new coach does. Just maybe he plays then in their correct positions as he needs wins to boost his coaching future.

Who’s the better buy?
TU: Zorko
TD: Dawson
do i go cogs> laird via dpp and ward>clark
r13 bye would look very sketchy
my team would look like this:
def: short, hewett, zorko, dawson, sinclair, mccartin (de koning, thompson)
mid: neale, mills, oliver, laird, miller, macrae, cripps, brayshaw (mccomb, hough, clark)
ruc: witts, preuss (hayes)
fwd: dunkley, heeney, brodie, de goey, butters, n martin (rosas, hamilton)
Dixon to Preuss
TU: Yes
TD: No
Not ideal… but also not terrible. Preuss will max out right around the same time Gawn bottoms out. You may in fact even make money.
If you think Preuss is a keeper, then he’s still cheap. His injury risk is no better/worse than Witts or Darcy.

What players are looking good for DPP soon?
I think Bont and Bailey smith are on track right now, however, don’t know if that will remain in the next couple weeks.
There is an article on the herald sun website I’m pretty sure, however I am not subscribed, so cant tell you who else.
The magic number is 35%

Wow if those % keep up my fwd line might be full of bulldogs lol, thanks for the info CT .
Might be worth adding to the CBA and kick in article for next week, assuming it’s not too arduous of course.

Looking ahead, anyone got stats on likelihood of Gawn getting dpp from R12 ??
Max Gawn – Time in Position Ruck 72%, Forward 28%.
He would have to spend a large amount of time in the forward line in his next two games to get to 35%.
Looking unlikey.
G’day CT. Out of interest, where do you find these stats on %age playing time split between positions??
Thanks CT
Hey coaches, I’m thinking of bringing McGovern into my defence this week.
I currently have : Crispy, Hewett, Zorko and Ryan as premiums, McCartin would be my D6. I can afford any other premo except Stewart. McGov would leave me 115K for future trades…but concerned about continued H/S protocols affecting WC. If I get Sicily I’m left with 17k. Dawson is another in great form…

Any better way to use your cash to do 2 upgrades rather than an expensive upgrade from Stephens to Laird?
I am already downgrading gibcus to Khamis. That’s my first trade. Deciding on the following…
Cheers!

(Results in Daicos D6, Smith M8, McCartin F6)
TD: Daicos & Martin to McGovern & Cameron
(Results in McGovern D6, Clark M8, Cameron F6)
Who is likely to pick up DPP fwd status that could finish top 6 for the remainder of the season?
I haven’t read the Hun article, but I believe Baz is very close, Bont & Boak are maybes, and Gawn is an outside chance if he spends bulk time forward for the next two weeks. If all get DPP, the top forwards probably look something like:
1. Gawn
2. English
3. Bont
4. Dunks
5. Boak
6. Baz
7. Parker
8. Libba
9. Heeney
10+. Treloar, Brodie, Martin, Goldstein
…daylight…
Cogs
Geez, glad I left the forward line til last then! That looks very juicy.
TU: Sinclair
TD: Dawson
TU: Gibcus, Steele, Cogs out for Dawson, Tracca, Clark +137k
TD: Gibcus, NOD, Steele out for Buku, Dawson, Clark+455k
Third option is;
Steele, Gibcus, McCartin out for Petracca, Dawson, Buku 7k
If you can, try to hold McCartin for at least 1 more week with a low break even of 13.
He should go up by around $25,000 this week.
Personally I think you should get rid of NOD & Steele & Gibcus (rather than Cogs) – but can you bring in Dawson, Petracca & Clark if you get rid of those three players?
Unfortunately not Brett, that would be ideal but im 6k short. Not many other options below Tracca worth bringing in, unless I trade Daicos ahead of Gibcus, I can then afford Trac.
Could you do Brayshaw, Dawson and Clark? Reckon he’s a chance of being close to Trac
Got him already Johnno
Have held Whitfield this far to my teams demise. Is there any hope with the new coach or is he destined to keep falling?
TU theres hope. hold him to the bye
TD He’s absolutely done – use the trade
His bye is R12. Not really worth sideways trading R12 premium players at their bye as you only get 2 scores out of the traded in player over the byes. Therefore trade now if you are going to trade him I reckon. Or hold till after the byes and pray.
Never had a round with as many trade-options as this.
Latest proposal.
Martin, Rowell, Daicos -> Brayshaw, Laird & Clark.
Zorko D6, (only “rookie on-field” Clark M8, Preuss R2, Cogs & Butters still in Fwd-line.
16 trades & no boosts left.
Cheers Brett, yep Andy Brayshaw.
Interesting to see the Andy vs Tracca debate this last week. I’m personally onboard the Andy train but both solid picks.
Solid points with the names re – keeper discussion. Really comes down to how many trades left for coaches and how cash-gen is looking.
100% agree. The days of relying on Daicos to be a D6, Rowell M8 for example are long gone.
Reducing trades and trade boosts both need to go IMO.
Kick-ins are out of the control of SC, and in the hands of Champion Data, no dramas with that.
I do think the DPP changes are good, perhaps teams will start to feel different if Bont, Gawn, Smith etc gain DPP, “if” they happen which looks unlikely.
Agreed. Been a little demoralising since the start of the season for me when every league matchup I was in only had 6-7 unique players.
I want to see the VC gone. Will open up scoring a lot I think and make people gamble more.
Bigger priority to trade out:
TU – Luke Ryan
TD – Nick Daicos
If you take out Ryan’s outlier 157 game, Daicos has been scoring better this season + still may have money to make whereas Ryan is bleeding cash every week, seems to also be nursing an injury. He’s also a POD so it hurts me much more if he scores poorly.
OUT: Gibcus, Martin, Daicos
IN: Docherty, Clark, Thompson/Khamis(?)
Sicily, Short, Crisp, Doc, Hewett, Chapman (SDK, Thompson/Khamis)
Neale, Oliver, Miller, Macrae, Cripps, Keays, Brayshaw, Clark (McComb, Carroll, Rioli)
Witts, Preuss (Hayes)
Dunkley, Heeney, Moore, Brodie, Cogs, Butters (McCartin, Rosas)
$360k in the bank, 15 trades left.
Considering my next few trades (order subject to BEs):
Hayes to a ruck/fwd $102k loophole (plus $200k)
McCartin to English (minus $250k)
McComb to a fwd/def $102k loophole (plus $150k)
Chapman to Stewart (minus $170k)
Preuss to Gawn (minus $100k)
$190k to turn Cogs or Butters into a premo mid
Leaving me with 9 trades and the following team:
Sicily, Stewart, Short, Crisp, Doc, Hewett (SDK, Thompson)
Neale, Oliver, Miller, Macrae, Cripps, Keays, Brayshaw, XXXXX (Carroll, Rioli, mid/def)
Gawn, Witts (ruck/fwd)
Dunkley, Heeney, English, Moore, Brodie, Cogs/Butters (Rosas, fwd/def)
Means I can use SDK to cover an out on any line through DPP manipulations.
OUT: Gibcus, Martin, Daicos

Preuss to Gawn (minus $100k)
$195k to turn Cogs or Butters into a premo mid

What is the best option for Hugh Dixon? I have him as my R3 and have no ruck in my forward line.
Also Hayes is my R2
Strnadica might get another game at some stage so could be worth a downgrade there.
Out – Steele, martin, Macdonald
In – Brayshaw, Crouch, Clark
Can’t really split these premos byes look ok for all of them
TU Dale
TD Sinclair
TU Dawson
Role change or just hitting some form?
cheers
He’s left the half back line with Coleman returning and now playing a blended MID-FWD role. Getting great purchase with those bursts on ball and then, of course, when he comes up to stoppages.
Good bye as well, I like him as an option. Injury profile a concern but capable of spitting out 120s.
Abs opened Fallen Premiums with him, I’d give that a read as well:
http://supercoachtalk.com/the-fallen-premiums-rd-10-2022/
Yep I got him last week and he was good. I’ll be nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs for the rest of the year though. Age and injury history are against him, but if you can ignore that he’s a fantastic scorer!
Worth paying up for Sicily or going elsewhere for value
TU scicly
TD value
Need to trade Steele and I’ve already got Neale, Oliver, Macrae, Miller, Laird and Cripps.
There’s been a lot of talk about trading in Petracca and Brayshaw who are both viable options. However, I’ve been looking at Parish whos had only 2 scores below 100 which have both been in the high 90’s.
Who’s the best option?
T/up- Parish
T/down – Petracca
Comment – Brayshaw or anyone else
Don’t go Parish, James.
Have you looked at Walsh James? He’s my pick this week at least and isn’t likely to butcher the ball as much as Petracca
Was considering him too but his bye is in Round 12 and I’m already quite low on players for that round unfortunately
I was considering bringing him in too but his bye is in Round 12 and I’m already quite low on players for that round
Upgrading Martin to a premium in my forward line, if English is back is he a better option then Parker ?
TU – English
TD – Parker
Is Parker still getting a lot of midfield time? Haven’t seen Sydney’s game as of late
English will not be playing this week.
Tim English (flu) “Still very low in energy. He’s easing himself back into some training. We will be conservative in his re-load & confirm his return to play once he’s healthy & training with intensity.” Chris Bell, Head of Sports Med.
Luke Parker had 18 CBAs last weekend, the highest for Sydney.
thanks mate, appreciated
Tu: Daicos> Zorko
Td: Daicos> Sinclair
Who to trade Steele out for?
TU: Laird
TD: Wines + save $$$
Crisp and Ridley unlikely – Ouch
What’s wrong with Ridley. I haven’t heard or seen anything
Hammy soreness
Who is the better premo defender to bring in
T/U Stewart
T/D Sicily
Both are Top 6 locks and eventual must haves.
Stewart R13 bye, Sicily R14.
Maybe let that decide, Matt? Very little between them. Both very fun to watch as well.
Do I trade…
T/U – NOD > Dawson
T/D – Nic Martin > Laird
Who scores more points for rest of season??
T/U – Docherty
T/D – Dawson
Cheers
Who is the better option for Steele replacement?
TU- Miller
TD-Laird
Thanks
Trades for the week..
Coniglio > Clark
O’Driscoll > Docherty
Any news on crisp ?
T/U – Cogs to Libba/Brayshaw
T/D – Whitfield to Docherty/Dale
How about this fixing the backline?
N.Daicos,J.Steele,N.Martin > T.Stewart, Laird , G.Clark
Have the $$$ to trade Steele for Mills….worth it?
I think so. But if English plays, I might go to him and consider waiting a few weeks on Mills for a hopeful price drop
I’d be really cautious with English. He’s sounding pretty crook so even if he gets up he won’t be 100% but I also saw that he might be out for two more weeks anyway. Reckon no matter what I’d want to see him play again before just trading him in.

if not Mills…
Steele & Cogs -> Brayshaw and English (if fit)
$38,400 ITB, 21 Trades Left (2 Boosts)
DEF: J. Sicily, J. Crisp, J. Short, J. Sinclair, G. Hewett, H. Chapman (P. McCartin, S. De Koning)
MID: L. Neale, C. Oliver, J. Steele, J. Macrae, T. Miller, P. Cripps, N. Daicos, J. Carroll, (J. Horne-Francis, J. Ward, R. McComb)
RUCK: J. Witts, B. Preuss (S. Hayes)
FWD: J. Dunkley, W. Brodie, S. Coniglio, Z. Butters, N. Martin, L. Parker (M. Rioli, J. McEntee)
Ran a rookie as M8 last week (scored 29), b/c JHF DNP. Not risking that again, therefore thinking:
Steele > Laird
Cogs > Cheapest FWD/DEF DPP Player (Enables swinging McCartin/SDK to D6, and $$$ for the 2 premo mids)
JHF > Possibly Parish (Suggestions? $33k short of Mills)
What do you blokes reckon?
Cheers
Looks good, I’d suggest Brayshaw, Tracca or Baz over Parish though.
News that Whitfield is out an Crisp injury cloud with 260 in the bank
Whitfield to Dawson
Steel to Petracca
Rowell to wines
Skip on the rookies this week
Mcrae said crisp will be named but also feel like he could be a potential late out if he’s no good
Trades 23 (2 Boosts)
337k ITB
DEF: Sicily, Short, Crips, Hewett, Dawson, Daicos, (McCartin, SDK)
MID: Neale, Oliver, Macrae, Cripps, Steele, Brayshaw, Brodie, Rioli jr, (Stephens, Hamilton, Uwland)
RUC: Gawn, Preuss, (SHayes)
FWD: Dunkley, Heeney, Cogs, Butters, Martin, Curtis, (Dixon, Rosas)
Need help. No idea what to do. Was thinking something along the lines of Steele -> Laird, Stephens -> Clark or something.
Ideas appreciated.
The two trades you’ve suggested + Dixon to Cameron?
Cogs to Premo defender.
Cogs out. SDK/Mccartin to Fwd
Stephens to G Clark. Time to bite the bullet on Stephens
also maybe boost to move steele to another Primo mid
TU: Laird
TD:T.Miller
OUT: Ward & Whitfield
IN: Khamis & Wines
Thoughts?
TU – Sicily and Brayshaw
TD – Docherty and Bont
Tu- trac

cant get laird because of bye structure
sorry this is off topic but in the bye rounds is it best 18 scores?
Yes, Geoff, the best 18 scores for each round of the byes.

TU: Laird
TD: Oliver
Comment: Mills
Steele replacement..
TU: Laird
TD: Brayshaw
Replacement for Jack Steele (under 650k)

Trades for this week…
T/U – Steele to Laird + Whitfield to Dale
T/D – Steele to Walsh + Whitfield to Sicily
Okay ladies and gents
with everything we know now. ie cogs starting on ball
Who do we trade, one has to go….
T/U – Cogs
T/D – N. Martin
Get clicking legends
Hi guys, dont really have any cash so who to pick up?
Ridley
or
Jake loyd
Cheers
Nick Martin -> Who? Can afford anyone, have Sicily, Hewett, Crisp, Short, Dawson, Macrae, Laird, Oliver, Brayshaw, Cripps, Neale, Dunkley, Heeney. Can DPP for any position except ruck.
Thanks
Touk Miller
Also prioritise trading out
Dixon and having a 630k to upgrade
Or
Martin and having 770k to upgrade
Better trade to make;
TU;
Jack Hayes > Witts
(Sam Hayes becomes r3, however this means Rioli/rosas loophole at m8)
TD;
Stephens > Bontempelli
(Sam Hayes becomes r2, Nick Martin becomes f6 which means no Rioli or rosas needed on my field)
Cogs gotta go?
Ward to Clark in midfield, non playing player to best rookie available and Clark could be played on field if required. Huge cash generation as well.
Who has the best job security going fwd ?
TU – Buku Khamis
TD – Rory Thompson
I’m thinking Rory but not sure. Thanks.
Coniglio named in the midfield – Trade or hold?
Leaning towards hold for the Wet Toast game then assess for Brisbane the week after.
Hey Nelson,
Cogs has a 146 BE! Unless you are tight on Trades, have bigger priorities or $ ITB I’d say Ta ta!
Yeah agreed mate, if we hold onto Cogs this week it means that we basically need to hold him till we are full premo meaning he will be a luxury trade later on. Very tough situation!
Do Sydney have a tagger? If so you think they would go to cripps or Walsh?
– may be bringing Walsh in so just a bit worried
Walsh great POD.
Might see JPK play on Cripps all game, Walsh doubtful to get any serious attention
Cash strapped and 19 trades left no boosts
Whitfield/ Steele >
Sinclair/ DMartin
Or just
Steele > Hewitt / Sicily/ Docherty etc
Hold Whitfield for now
Do you have clark?
Bring in the cheapest Keeper you can for steele and use the money on your next upgrade
Thanks Just some guy. I have Clark went early and there aren’t any good rookie downgrades atm.
I was thinking to get Wines and have 50k left for next upgrade but If I did that I’d have to field Daicos, Dekoning and W-Milera in def with no cover.
My backline is my biggest issue:
Stewart, Crisp, Lloyd, Daicos, Dekoning, W-Milera( Whitfield, Skinner)
TU Treloar
TD Heeney
Already gone Dixon and Steele to Laird and Clark. Use my last trade boost to go SDK to Walsh?
T/UP: YES
T/Down: NO
hey guys, who to put into my mid?
ollie wines
or
Tom Green
Cheers
Some forced trades this week, good chance to balance my premiums for the byes though.
Steele > Macrae
Macdonald > Clark
Whitfield > Dawson
TU allows me to get both Laird and Mills but I let go of Daicos and have to loop Durdin or Rosas at F6.
TD sees me go Petracca instead of Mills and allows me to keep Daicos at D6 whilst swinging McCartin to F6. (Not quite enough for Khamis)
TU:
Steele > Laird
Coniglio > Mills
Daicos > Khamis
45.3k ITB
TD:
Steele > Laird
Coniglio > Petracca
Durdin > Cleary
4.4kITB

TD trade
Hey Gents,
Help required which option is better
TU:N Martin to Rory Laird
TD:C MacDonald to Andrew Brayshaw
Cheers
Definitely MacDonald, Martin still a very solid rookie
T/U – Dixon to Dawson (get McCartin off field)
T/D – Dixon to A.Brayshaw (get Martin off field)
Still have 2 x DEF, 2 x MID & 1 x FWD upgrade left
Hey everyone!
Steele -> Laird
MacDonald -> Clark
O’Driscoll to….
I’m tossing up between bringing a DEF or FWD but wondering how worried I should be about bringing in a Round 12 player. I’m already on 17 playing.
TU: Bite the rd. 12 bullet and make the trade (Docherty, Dusty, Sinclair, etc.)
TD: Grab someone else playing rd 13/14(Dawson, Heeney, Dale, etc.)
Any advice welcome.
Thanks!
Who to vice captain

Bloke I’m versing will most likely vc cripps but feel like he might get some attention tonight
