    1. Argh. Hard to say. CBAs rn are nice but it’s in a tagging role. He’s also been out of the midfield for so long that he isn’t a necessity there like Baird and Dawson – although there really isn’t go to 3rd MID.

You’d be betting on him staying there and the Crows tagging for 3 months. Idk.

Does have a nice fixture though.

      1. Surely he’s good enough he stays in there even if he’s not tagging? Proven he can do it in the past too!

        1. Yeah. I like him as a player, always have.

He’s better than Sloane, Berry isn’t even in the side and Rachele didn’t have the biggest impact chopping out. Keays their best 3rd MID rn, yes.

Just a matter of whether it holds.

Also, where is your team at Olie? If you can handily get to FP, then fade Keays. If a sub 400k premo is just golden for you and guarantees FP, then do it.

    2. Adam Kelly after Ben Keays’ 94% mid time last week: We’ll see a fair bit of Keays in the midfield again. 94% is probably too high but he will spend more time in there.

This was posted on Twitter by Aaron Bryans at midday before the game against the Suns

  1. I have 14 trades so somewhat wealthy in that department.

Plan was always Sheezel to Neale.

How about Ziebell to Brayshaw as well?

    Y/N?

    39

    2
    1. In his current form, yes.

Problem is GWS have 2 other serviceable rucks and a propensity to chop and change the minute the form of the #1 ruck isn’t up to scratch.

I’m guessing the nub of your question is can he be R2 LT? Personally, I’d use him as a cow only. Use his bulk cash to finish your team. In the event something happens, are you really going to have the trades to get him up? Also a pretty big sweat to back a GWS ruck for half a season on field.

    2. Read on the state league wrap ups that Flynn dominated VFL too, so 100% GD is on the money.
I’m considering playing Briggs over Gawn this week though with 3 healthy ruckmen…..

  2. 10 trades should i do these trades
    Ohalloran-serong
    chandler- heeney
atkins- any cheap rookie that will play
once i get them all in my team only has 1 rookie left in it
    worth it-TU
    not worth it TD

  3. Been looking forward to NOW!
    Let’s go shopping-
Out – Zeibell Sheezel Coniglio Baker
    In Brayshaw Neale Jackson and…..Oliver
Just tired of Coniglio with indiscriminate DE
Sheezel looks a little tired and his change of role means must trade before he loses to much $’s
Zeibell no longer getting cheap seagull sweeping points that he used to get and Hall doing a lot more kick out duties.
Baker – 21 disposals 9 marks all for 41 points.
    You have served your purpose.
Next to go will either be Callaghan or Ashcroft but I also still have Ratagulea but can’t trade anyone in with a round 15 bye as I need warm bodies.

  4. what are peoples thoughts on cripps in for de goey, cripps at 480k wouldn’t think he would go much lower and able to bank the 50k from de goey to him
    TU-you might be smart
    TD-pick something else your dumb

    3

    43
  5. O.Baker is he still a hold? BE 59

TU: Yes still can make money

TD: No slow burner will lose dollars

    2

    18
    1. There’s no “is he a hold” with rookies at this stage, Brandon.

Race to full premo and get your byes in order.

      7

      1
  6. Sheezel, Atkins and Humphrey > Brayshaw, Neale and Harvey Harrison

Leaves me with 10 trades and 3 rookies left on field.

    2

    22
    1. No way. Terrible for a number of reasons.

Humph and Atkins will be sensational bye cover. Don’t bin them. They’ll be essential to getting you to 18.

Neale, yes, covers Sheezel but with how many premos you still need I wouldn’t be sidewaysing. Get Neale in as a traditional upgrade.

Target value, full premo the priority, not destroying your CG and bye cover for flashy premos.

      4

      1. Thanks GD always love the advice tho the above has me confused. A common line in SC Talk is “hold til their bye”, but sometimes keep them as in Atkins etc above?

I was also thinking using Atkins this week to get Neale in, (also have Sheezel but was keeping til R15). But you think Sheezel is the one to use for Neale this week??

I would’ve thought as long as Im not trading in someone whos yet to have their bye, Im covering my bye requirements (barring injury of course).

I have 19 trades up my sleeve, and 5 rookies to get to FP.
        Cheers

      1. Interesting tactic. Hope you’ve got minimal cash cows.

The Neale upgrade can’t be done without a $41K downgrade. Fyfe is high risk/high reward. The only other feasible option I have is to downgrade to a low JS rookie ala Mullin.

        3

        0
  7. Anyone have any thoughts on Lewis Melican. Does he have good JS? will he score well?

Not many rookie priced options this week. Early thoughts are

Sheezel, Ziebell > Melican, Brayshaw +250k

Leaves me with 8 trades and 2 upgrades left.

    1

    3
    1. KPF fill in. Score top of his range, won’t happen again.

JS depends on Rampe and McCartin ETAs. Check injury lists this week. If they’re away till after the byes, then yeah: Melican could be decent just as a live post-bye downgrade.

      2

      1
  8. Get Ryan or Lloyd in this week or next?

Im thinking trading them for weddle and cincotta next week as both should make more cash. Lloyd and Ryan have high BEs as well so ill be able to afford both even if they score 150s.

When i do the trade would have 6 left and 1 off full premo.

    Tu: get them this week
Td: wait a week as may make more cash

    5

    8
      1. Im leaning to do this trade this week, but need to find a rookie to bring in that will play the bye rounds.

I could go early on Mullin but feel thats way too risky. Lets see what comes from the teams this week and hopefully there is anorher cheapie available.

        0

  9. First thoughts on trades this week with 496k ITB.

Wilmot to Mullin via DPP for cash
    Angwin to Andy Brayshaw
Van Rooyen via DPP to Caleb Serong or Lachie Neale

Neale is cheaper but he hasn’t totally convinced me and his floor can be low.

    T/U Caleb Serong
    T/D Lachie Neale

Comment: Anyone else who had the R12 bye.

These trades will leave me with no rookies on field and Briggs at R2 as the only upgrade left and if he keeps pumping out 100’s, he will be going nowhere!

I will have 22 on field in R13, 18/19 on field in R14 and 17 on field in R15 if I don’t upgrade Briggs.

Bench cover will be Weddle/Mullin in Defence, Humphrey/Sharp in Mids, Seamus Mitchell/Ford in Forwards.

I have Darcy Cameron in the forwards to cover the rucks via Madden.

6 trades left for the run home, 4 if I upgrade Briggs to a Witts/English type.

    What could possibly go wrong!!!

    8

    8
  10. Very similar price, one’s had the bye, one hasn’t. Who’s going to score more for the remainder of the year?

    TU: Dawson
    TD: Neale

  11. Feeling a bit stuck. 11 trades left. 480k itb and want to trade in 2 premos from the round 12 bye

    Any ideas welcome:

Def Stuart, Daicos, Dawson, Ziebell, Day, Weddle: Young Chesser

Mids Bont, Laird, Anderson, Zerrett, Steele, Ashcroft, Wardlaw, Johnson: Cincotta, Davey, Dury

    Rucks, English, RoMo: Briggs

Forwards: Toranto, Dunkley, Rozee, Gulden, Cogs, Sheezel: Ford, Madden

    0

    0
    1. Day Davey -> L. Ryan Chad Warner

Couple $k off being able to grab Neale instead of Warner. Could use Johnson instead of Davey and be able to pull it off for Neale or Brayshaw instead, but Johnson does have a little bit more money to make and could be nice bye coverage I suppose.

Could also trade out Ziebell/Sheezel instead of Day

      1. Definitely trying to get off rd15 bye players but also don’t want to trade people I’ve had penciled in as keepers before I get to full premo.

Could burn most of my cash and go

        Out Davey, Young, Cincotta
        In Young, Jackson, Mullin

It’s a double upgrade but it feels a bit wrong/disappointing

      how about

      Ashcroft & Sheezel out

      1. Current thought

        Out Zeibell + Young
        In Neale + Brayshaw

  12. Feeling a bit stuck so would love some advice.

    $376k ITB and 12 trades.

DEF: Daicos, Stewart, Sicily, Sinclair, Sheezel, S Mitchell (Cincotta, Constable)

MID: Merrett, Laird, Libba, Green, De Goey, Day, Atkins, Wardlaw (Johnson, Angwin, Roberts)

    RUC: English, RoMo (Briggs)

FWD: Dunkley, Taranto, Gulden, Rozzee, Cogs, Ziebell (Ford, Madden).

Should I be trading De Goey and Will Day out this week? Or something else?

    5

    1. De Goey -> Dawson
      Mitchell -> Lloyd
      Day -> Anderson

*Day trade optional, could also make Ziebell Ryan. Lock the first two in.

      Great side.

  14. Straight swap of DeGoey to Sinclair feels like a no-brainer but is there a better option? Only 5k in the bank

  17. Do we give Ziebell one more chance?

Or trade to a Brayshaw / Neale this week?

    T/U – Hold Ziebell

    T/D – Trade

    1. Stuck on this as well. Leaning towards Lloyds durability over Ryan’s ceiling. Ryan went bonkers in the back half of last year though.

      1

      1
  18. Looks like the inclusion of Hall & Thomas has struck down Ziebel’s scoring.. He is projected to drop another $30k+ this week..

Not much $ in the bank so hoping I can get out of this with 1 trade so Lloyd stands out as the obvious candidate…

    TU or TD?

    15

    3
  19. Weddle – Serong

Don’t need the extra 15k he’s set to go up rather the points due to my overall rnak.

    8

    1
  20. Biggest priority for the week

Tu: Sideways ziebell to another premo like Neale, stay 2 of full premo

Td: keep ziebell for now (hopefully this is just a form slump) and do an upgrade to go 1 off full premo (weddle > mullin, mitchell > neale).

Can’t do both as de goey is a must trade

    12

    6
    1. Why is Degoey a must trade? It’s best 18 the next 3 weeks

If your that short on trades might just be better to hold and hope for the best save that trade for later

      1

      1
      1. Yeah completely get this but if he gets 3 (which is minimum) he is out for 4 including r15 (have 14-15 available pre trades if i keep him) and 2 non bye weeks where ill have to cover with a rookie so imo trading is the best option.

Unpopular view, but given my low trades ill prioritise upgrading my last 2 rookies and hold Ziebell onto his bye at least keeping S mitchell as a loop. If he didnt clanger it up last 2 weeks he would have scored 90s which is ok for a d6. Clarko should come back post bye and get him back to the old role as well.

    1. My two suggestions for what they are worth

      Out Baker and Atkins
      In. Steele and Fyfe

Logic is that both outs have not had their bye, and the 2 ins have. So extra on field. I also think the two outs have made their cash, and maybe Fyfe has 100k. But that’s anyone’s guess Steele is a leap of faith. Hasn’t done enough to deserve to be called a premo this season, but his history tells us he is.

      Second option
      Out Baker and Atkins
      In. Brayshaw and Mullin

Brayshaw feels like he is hitting his straps. Also had his bye. Going early on Mullin is a risk. But no other rookie is jumping out at me.

  22. Pull the trigger this week or wait another week for potential price drops:-

  24. Just wanted to put it out there that it Can be very tricky to offer advice and confidently vote on alot of TU and TD comments at this time of year so everyone should just take the TU/TD votes with a grain of salt and use it purely as a guide as we when voting don’t always have the full picture of your team… we don’t know the number of rookies left onfield, trades remaining, cash gen situation etc.. so take into account the votes but at the end of day back your gut and instinct because you know your overall structure the best 🙂

  25. Can someone please tell me who I should focus on getting rid of… I have way to many rookies that are giving me mediocre scores and trying to get to full premo will be mission impossible by the looks

    Help me Supercoach gods!!!

    T. Stewart, N. Daicos, J. Dawson, D. Wilmot, C. McKenna, A. Cincotta (S. Mitchell, T. Young)

    Z. Merrett, R. Laird, C. Serong, E. Gulden, J. De Goey (obviously trade), T. Mitchell, W. Ashcroft, G. Wardlaw (R. Angwin, C. Blakely, C. Constable)

    R. Marshall, T. English (K. Briggs)

    J. Dunkley, T. Taranto, C. Rozee, S. Coniglio, H. Sheezel, D. Williams (E. Ford, M. Roberts)

    1. Your backline is where the trades need to be made.

Cincotta to Mullin +133k =333k ITB
McKenna to Luke Ryan -260k = 73k ITB
De Goey to either Andy Brayshaw or Lachie Neale – both affordable and about the same price.

I know Mullin is a risk of not playing after the bye due to the returning Cats but you have Mitchell on the bench and he is a better option on field than McKenna/Cincotta.

      Backline would be:

Stewart Daicos Dawson Ryan Wilmot Mitchell (Young Mullin)

Round 15 is going to be a problem for most people including me!

      1. Trade out round 15 rookies first.

Could do out Young > Mullin and then

Sheezel to Def, Gulden to forward, wilmont mid.

Then do Cincotta + All cash for rd12 bye premo def (Ryan/Lloyd)

Potentially now have +2 premos playing rd 15

All these options play an extra game and will provide bye cover!

With those ins have 19/18 for r 14/15
Have Cally, Ratkins, Van rooyen Mitchell,Williams and Ford by then for the last three/ four upgrades. I’m kryptonite for freo players this year Darcy has been a solo wrecking ball on my year.

Brayshaw, Neale, Anyone under 190 k most likely Mullin

T/U – Yes, they are fake premiums get rid of them.

T/D – No, hold them and get to full premo before worrying about sideways trades.

  30. Trades

    Out: ziebell & de goey
    In: brayshaw & neale

Ziebell BE of 178 de goey taking a 4 week holiday to Bali. Stalls upgrade rookie cadence but they are definitely upgrades none the less but only have 2 rookies onfield and 10 trades with 1 boost. Also wonders for my bye in R14&15.

Ziebell to ridley might also be a play instead of one of neale or brayshaw. But can ridleys current role hold that’s the million dollar question

    11

    1. Hey, Mav.

Zieb -> Riddles was the play last week. Netted so much cash that questions around scoring stability didn’t really matter.

I’d just kick it up to a post-bye MID provided you’re still able to then get to FP.

    1. Morning, Wighty.

      Hmm. That’s an interesting one.

Form and gamestyle clearly favouring Lloyd right now. He’s adapted to the Swans’ lower possession, direct corridor style which having not adapted to put him in the wilderness for a while.

Freo have come out of their shell and are playing a lower kick game and ranking at competition highs for HB chains and ball movement – which is why Ryan hasn’t had much of a ceiling of late.

As of rn, Lloyd. But it’s a season long call and Ryan only needs Freo to be put on the defensive again and a sprinkling of his signature high ceiling games will see him cover Lloyd.

Splitting hairs. Both rock solid picks. Purely a matter of personal preference/read really.

  32. Ziebell to keays anyone?
Pocket $150k, BE of 7 and back to midfield role with Adelaide assistant coach saying going forward Ben will be playing alot more midfield time… at worst could be M9/F7 with his dpp

  33. Also thinking holding Briggs at R2 and trading gawn.. he didn’t get DPP and can’t play with Grundy in the team. Briggs is actually a very very good ruckman he keeps Flynn out from here.

TU or TD: gawn to Oliver play Briggs at R2

    10

    2
    1. Briggs being good enough isn’t the issue – Riccardi as back-up is.

Nank dominated Riccardi during the 6-7 minute breaks Briggs was having. They won’t drop Briggs, but might play both he and Flynn together.

    2. I’m going Gawn to Witts on Gawn bye, and keeping Briggs while his cash goes up. Jackson may become f6 and could go into ruck via Madden if needed.

  34. Does anyone actually think ziebell is a keeper and just been having a bad patch? Or is it too much with Sheezle, Hall and Thomas poaching his points?

    TU keep the faith
TD old man is cooked and bleeding money

    10
    1. Just bin at his bye for Sinc, Ryan or Lloyd. They’ll cover him and it’ll sort you for R15.

Sheezel, Hall, McDonald and him is just too many cooks. Can still have premium scores but just sharing too much economy rn.

      1

      3
      1. Lost to much money by his bye Could lose you 50k in the next week possibly even more in the fortnight by R15. Gotta go this week or hold him for long term.

  35. Atkins and Seamus Mitchell > Neale and Harrison

Leaves me with 60k in the bank, 11 trades and 3 rookies on field

I also still have a few live rookies like humphrey, briggs, wardlaw and ford so I do u guys think ill be able to finish my team??

    4

    1. How many rookies left to go to premos?

Humph won’t need much tacked onto him to become a premo and Briggs is set to make hella cash.

      1. 3 rookies left to go to premos and r u saying that humphrey is a premo so i dont have to trade him??

        1. I think GD is saying you won’t have to add many $’s to Humphrey to get him up to a Premo.

          0

          0
    2. Yeah you get there with those cows.

I find it helpful to look at my on field rookies, the gap to $575k (noting these will be your lower players), the revenue your bench cows -$125k can produce (as you wouldn’t be paying a higher price rookie), and the trades you’d need to do that.

I have 10 trades left, but struggling with remaining cows. Ashcroft and Callaghan still on field (-$322k). $70k ITB, bench cows of Mitchell and Cincotta (+$355k). Finished team with 6 trades remaining post Round 15.

I play largely for league, so with this context; 4 rounds to finals from there, budgeting 1 injury trade every 2 weeks (between R16, 17, 18, 19), will leave me with 4 trades for finals.

It’s a bit tight for me, so I might have to keep Ashcroft closer to finals in case of too many injuries and needing to save the two trades.

  36. Ok time for a boom or bust trade
    Hear me out on this

Trade Marshall out to a low price rookie as I’ve already got English & Briggs
With the extra 500k I’ll upgrade
    S Mitchell to H Young
    O Baker to Neale

    Am I crazy

    12
    1. Really difficult to reply without knowing:

How many rookies left to upgrade?
      How many trades left?
      Cash gen on bench?
Bench cover as you are removing 2 players who are playing regularly?
Are you confident that Briggs stays No 1 ruck at GWS otherwise you will need at least one trade, maybe two, to upgrade him?

The trades are definitely upgrades and remove a R14 and a R15 player from bye structure.

      1

      0
      1. Ya. Hard to answer without the context of your team, like Owen said.

Not opposed to a Briggs R2 slot move but Tingles and RoMo are R1&2 and RoMo has just come off his bye, heading into a tasty month’s fixture and is widely owned.

  37. Alright – this has been brewing. I need to jump start my season and there’s not much to lose.

Context: 14 trades left, 1 boost left, 140K ITB

    Ashcroft > Neale
    Day > Cameron via DPP
    Ziebell > Yeo
    Ratkins > Fyfe via DPP

Next week, this will look transition into:

    Ginbey > Sinclair
Fyfe, Wardlaw and Yeo as bench cover
    Humphrey M8.

    2

    1
    1. More of a next week proposition, but I’m really hoping Ginbey scores really well to justify keeping him lol. I would rather trade Sheezel to Sinclair because my R15 bye mess becomes A LOT easier to manage.

      1

      0
    2. OPTION 1:

      OUT: Sheezel, Ziebell, Ashcroft, Day
IN: Neale, Sinclair, D Cameron, Fyfe

NEXT WEEK: Ginbey > L Ryan

Full premo DEF, Wardlaw M8, Humphrey F6

      OPTION 2:

      OUT: Atkins, Ziebell, Ashcroft, Day
IN: Neale, Yeo, D Cameron, Fyfe

NEXT WEEK: Ginbey > L Ryan

      Yeo D6, Humphrey M8, Sheezel F6

      TU: Option 1
      TD: Option 2

      6

  38. Is Mullin worth trading in to have on bench….no other rookie who’s still cheap is really sticking out

    TU: yes
    TD: no

    5

    10
    1. I’d look carefully at your team before doing so. His basement price means he’ll give you the most bang for buck but you’ve gotta be prepared to have him not play. Either have trades in the back pocket or have other, more reliable bench cover you’re keeping.

      0

      0
  39. Howdy all, haven’t watched many Freo games of late. This might be one for the keen Docker observer…

I’m looking at bringing in either L. Ryan or H .Young, both been scoring similar the past month.

Who would you bring in right now or is it pretty much a 50/50? Young is more of a POD so that’s a bonus.

  43. Ziebell, De Goey, Weddle > Neale, Lloyd, Fyfe.

Fyfe or Humphrey would have to be my F6 / M8 until i upgrade one of them to mills.

Have 6 trades after the change. Other upgrade ill do is Ford, Briggs to $650k mid premo.

    Tu: go for it
Td: no, better to keep ziebell over fyfe (if he continues to spud up ill move him to DCam at the r15 bye)

    10

    1
    1. Either fyfe or humphrey can play as my m8 or f6 (other is on bench).

Last on field upgrade after this trade would be ford

    2. Weddle seems to be going allright. Plays this week BE 38.

Trading Ziebel with so few trades maybe a luxury.

    TU – D.Cam
    TD – Errol

    8
  45. Team completed with 3 trades is unfortunately my situation.

These two trades don’t effect anything in regards to trades or upgrades.

Tu) Hold De Goey, dead rookie -> Fyfe. Fyfe looped off bench when JDG back (assuming he hasn’t gotten injured).

    Td) De Goey -> Neale

Not to sure where to go from here any advice much appreciated!

    1. I think a key thing to think about is that you have only 14 players by my count for R15. So across the next 3 weeks you need to be focusing on bringing in players that have had their bye.
If he is selected in R14, the easy one is Simpson to Mullin. That will give you 122k 23k = 145k
With Ryan losing money, I would suggest taking him down to Madden. That’s another 223k. I think you use that money on DCam so that you have ruck cover. With that sort of bank it could be a dead rookie like Sharp. Probably a R15 trade because of Cameron’s bye, but could consider this week so Ryan doesn’t lose money.
Even though they still have money to make, would consider Weddle and Mitchell as trades in R14 to bring in a premo who has had their bye.

    1. Dale nice now that Richards is gone but are you gonna be good for the byes bringing in two pre-bye players, Tully?

A bunch of great options from Freo, St Kila and Sydney coming in off a rest.

      0
      1. Yeah can’t do both of the above an going dale does stretch the 15 bye but I think he’s value with Johan and richards out. Keays I’m still unsure if he can hold down a midfield spot for long? I suspect he does but that’s probably more in hope than any evidence to support it I guess

  57. Trade 1 locked in… Ziebell (who’s dropping cash) to Neale. 14 trades remaining, $13k ITB. Unfortunately I’m $30k short of being able to get De Goey straight to Dawson this week and don’t have any boosts remaining, so am faced with the following options.

TU: De Goey to D.Cameron (BE 88) now, then waiting a few rounds for Briggs (R3) to ripen before swapping him for Dawson (BE 112 but against West Coast)

TD: Skip Cameron and use two trades next week to sell De Goey and S.Mitchell/JVR to Dawson and a rookie?

    1. The alternative to Neale maybe C. Warner. A bit cheaper. Does not have the ceiling of Neale but virtually 100 plus five weeks in a row and has had his bye.

    2. Nervous Cameron could have a quiet one against Gawn/Grundy, so option 3 is:

De Goey & Ziebell out, Neale and Keays in. $180k ITB to bring in Dawson after his bye.

  58. I know Walsh could dip a touch over the next two but I have to make the trade this week. Feel free to comment any other MID options under 550k.

T/U: Steele. No bye to come. SHOULD be able to straight trade Day for Clarry in the next couple weeks.

T/D: Walsh. Bye to come, bye structure is good so not too concerned about him missing. MIGHT be able to straight trade Day for Clarry in the next couple weeks. This will be more dependent on scores affecting breakevens.

Eyeing off Mills for M8 so these two guys will take M7. Current set up.
Bont, Laird, Neale, Brayshaw, Greene, Day/Clarry, Steele/Walsh, Humphrey/Mills

  59. Ziebel out. Need the cash and suits the last bye round better. In

TU: Keays. Back to mids hopefully. Can easily out perform his price, just needs the mid time. Will probably be M8 for a few rounds before being M9/F7 cover for the remainder.

T/D: Fyfe + $150K. Dont have much MITB atm so would be used in round 15 for better upgrades when Briggs/Baker/Cincotta go. Again handy M9/F7 cover at a cheaper price but injury concern. I havent watched many Freo games. Any supporters or maybe FT got any insight into his role now/going forward? Is Brodie likely to come back and effect his CBA or has he been Matt Crouch’d?

  60. Strapped for cash. Thoughts on these trades:

    – Wilmot to Mullin & Cincotta to Keays.

Leaves 88k ITB but only 8 trades left and 3 rookies still fielded post-bye.

    1. As a Geelong supporter, I’m telling you Mullin won’t get a game in Geelong’s next match. It has been all but clarified that Dangerfield, Duncan and Holmes will all be returning. And going through our team who played the Bulldogs last week Mullin would most likely be the first to come out of that side. So if anyone is selecting Mullin to actually play, tread carefully!

    Ruck: Marshall, Gawn (Madden)

Fwd: Dunks, Taranto, Macrae, Gulden, Rozee, Humphry (Mitchell, Ford)

    Any suggestions???

    1. Fwds are ok. May as well stick with Gawn and Day for the time being.
You probably need to gamble with a mid pricer to remove Atkins, Wilmot, Cincotta and co. Those mentioned on this site like Fyffe, Keays, Himmelberg and others you can identify and hope 1 or 2 come good.
