    • Agree he has been very frustrating especially after he had some great scores (just before I traded him in of course!!) I’m holding him for the moment….

Between the knee injuries and Bevo’s mad scientist approach to coaching, you would think I’d have learnt to avoid by now, but I guess I’m a little slow…

  1. With 4 trades left and 23 premos / mccarthy as 24th leaning to no trades but is it worth turning a dead bench guy like Hustwaite or Simpson to Rowston or the Viking.

Current playing bench players are Clarke, Liddy, Mccarthy, Keeler

    Tu: Yes
Td: No, hold those trades for injury

    • If grabbing this week, I’d lean Zorko bc Whitfield is returning from concussion.

Whitfield will be much better value in two weeks once that 140 drops out of his rolling average and the 16 hits it two more times (should drop 40-60k).

  2. What to do with Sheez? Having him and Roberts in defence is a headache. Six trades left, have enough to trade either straight to Whitfield but might not have enough to wait a week for Roberts.

    TU: Sheez to Whitfield
    TD: Roberts to Whitfield
    Comment: hold/other option

  6. Currently have Mills at D6 and McCarthy at Flex. Full premo otherwise. 8 trades left and $110k in the bank. E.Hewett is also on my midfield bench and is ripe for trading.

TU: Trade Hewett and Z. Johnson to another premo and $99k rookie this week (use 2 trades)
TD: Trade Hewett to a $99k rookie this week (use 1 trade) and use the $350k war chest to upgrade any underperforming premos or cover injuries in the coming weeks

  7. 7 Trades left-

Considering clarke and prestia out for Miller and Hotton if named or, gulden and a 99k.

Would allow me to move el-hawli to defense to let me loop mccarthy/mills. Would love to go hotton as I believe could provide some cover to mid/fwd as he should play most remaining games.

  8. 6 trades left and 13k itb. 22 premos and McCarthy in flex. Will need 4 trades to upgrade Mills to Whitfield and McCarthy to a premo leaving me with 2 trades left. Should i upgrade Oliver to a real premo like Brayshaw or Tom Green or hold those trades for injuries?

    TU: Trade
    TD: Hold

  9. One of my main lessons from season 2024 was to make sure I had trades left for the backend of the season post-byes. Currently have 4 left and would like to have two more, full premo (Darcy Cameron in flex, Mills D6 etc), and McCarthy on bench. Last season I more than halved my rank after the byes as others ran out of trades and injuries/management hit, so my advice is definitely keep some trades in the bank, they’ll be needed. I won’t be trading now other than necessity.
