Hold those trades. Half the teams in the comp are already out of the race for the finals, which means lots of player management in the last 8 rounds. You’ll need every single one of those trades to cover that.
One of my main lessons from season 2024 was to make sure I had trades left for the backend of the season post-byes. Currently have 4 left and would like to have two more, full premo (Darcy Cameron in flex, Mills D6 etc), and McCarthy on bench. Last season I more than halved my rank after the byes as others ran out of trades and injuries/management hit, so my advice is definitely keep some trades in the bank, they’ll be needed. I won’t be trading now other than necessity.

Thinking D Cameron sideways trade considering Cats run home. Also have Cerra in Mid and Daniel in FWd that I could shuffle and try to get Gulden and a mid pricer.
Great run. Only concern is how spread the Cats are and targeting JCam at only 16% I50 this year.
He’s had bags of 5-6 where he’s only then flat tonned. With how strong and trusting the Cats are across the field, he doesn’t have the widest economy atm.
I.e. Dempsey can take his opponent deep into the goalsquare, JCam leaves his post to settle the defence and Cats score.
His run is fantastic though.

I had Cameron for a total of 2 weeks. First week he kicked 4 goals in last 10 mins of game against Eagles to get to 100, next week he scored 28. I couldn’t take that any longer.

STU…Trades for finals (starting at round 21) are priceless in Supercoach so with only 4 left you MUST NOT trade unless a major player get long term injury…When that happens go for players with The Dual Position DPP bonus to give you even more flexibility…Whitfield is out for 1 week…live with that…Repeat…Supercoach players must have minimum 2 to 4 trades left…5/6 trades even better… for the first week of finals…Congrats…Your 2nd year playing… doing well..

I think I’m best to see if Johnson or Clarke can make a bit of extra cash to give me the funds to upgrade Bolton in a week or two and then hold 2 trades for the finals and injuries.
Not sure how to approach this weeks trades. Still have 15 trades and 2 boosts remaining, so I’m flush there, but cash generation proving difficult and need two midfield upgrades to finish team. Was thinking of trading a rookie to Joel Freijah after last weeks huge score, and riding his two weeks of price increases, before flipping him to a premo.
Just seeing people’s thoughts if this is a viable option, or I’m going a bit crazy?
if you have 23 premos this year, floor doesn’t matter because that score probably won’t count anyway. Owners are just chasing those spike scores that come from bags of goals.

I’d go Pedlar -> May, gives you 180k ITB. Then loop Hall/Johnson.
Give the rookies another 1-2 and you should be able to 1U1D your way to a finished team + McCarthy.

Feel like people are overrating Darcy. He is a key forward after all. 2 scores in the 70’s and 1 in the 80s, don’t love his floor.
