  1. Plan was to trade out Green over the weekend, as missed being able to do it last week dealing with other carnage. But after Ridley’s injury, made the decision that I couldn’t deal with both going forward (trades are an issue) so will holding Green and with DPP, Wilmot can cover him. Ridley will need to go though. Had already traded in Sicily last week, so options at this stage will be either Houston, L Ryan or Doc, depending on price. Think Houston will cost too much, so who to trade in?

  2. One trade and $114k left.
    League focussed but also a top 1500 rank.

    Have Ashcroft and G Hewett as m8 and m9.

    TD: hold out as long as possible for league finals before using last trade?

    1. There was an article in The Age yesterday which explored this and McRae confirmed they’re managing his minutes ahead of finals. It’s disappointing considering he was 105 avg before this and knocking on $600k. But his BE is 190 with a projected -$53k drop, and game time security is low noting they play Carlton, St Kilda and Essendon. Couple of straight swaps to consider like Mills.

  11. Got 2 trades left so can afford to trade W. Ashcroft and hold one trade back for any carnage at the very end of the season.

    Only got $514k total to play with so don’t think there are any certainties at this price.

  15. any info on touk in the second half yesterday? Started slow but was on 50 something at half time. Ended with 81.

    1. I had him in a SGM to get 20 possies – was on the bench in the last qtr for 8mins+ for no apparent reason
      Was very frustrating he ended on 19 & only 81sc
      Was my only leg to fail.

      Was going to trade him in this week but not so sure if his TOG is going to be managed like that.

    Johnson / Harvey / Chesser my mid bench cover through various DPP. Was pretty confident Johnson could maintain a 60 PPG but has been wavering of late.

    Feels like a waste, but I am strongly considering:

    Coach said Touk Miller has the flexibility to play muliple roles including half forward and wing while evaluating others playing inside mid. Also added that he is still working his way back from injury.

  34. only 1 trade left, have Ashcroft as M9 (if Laird plays). Fogarty as cover. Not sure but thinking Ashcroft to Rozee (or anyone up to 584k), so can loop keays or mills and ride out the rest of year.
    S.Mitchell and Maric def and fwd cover.
    Can get Rozee this week but maybe not if he goes up any next week.

    1. I’d wait to see if he completes Friday training – currently reports seem to be pointing to that he should be fine, is just being load managed through the week

      If there’s no particular news that he might miss I’d go DCam at F6

    I need to use the last two trades on Johnson and either Green/Walsh. I’m versing a few sides that are decent teams and most of those games are win or bust in terms of making finals. So I’d rather use the trades now to get a better chance of making the finals, and then whatever happens in the finals will be what happens.

    I’d rather make the finals and die trying than not make it all.

    So what would be the best options to trade into make a full premo side by finals happen? Both player might not both be premos, but the second player coming in can be at least someone with potential to do so

    Any suggestions?

  55. Don’t know if anyone can help with this, but can someone tell me approximately what score Neale and Merrett need to get this week to drop to ~585k?

    Neale is currently $623k, his BE is 176, need him to drop by ~38k.

    Merrett is currently $633k, his BE is 191, need him to drop by ~48k.

    1. Players drop approximately $4500 for every 10 points below break even. Hope that makes a little easier to calculate all your players.

  59. is it worth using my last trade to trade Seamus Mitchell to Docherty?
    That would mean I could have Himmleberg as an emergency in the backline?
    Or
    Keep my last trade for a long term injury and field Himmelberg for the rest of the year.
