    1. He’ll get pimped out by Nic Nat next week and then finishes up against Preuss and a decent Giants OB brigade.

      Totally flat across the ground and if his HTA work isn’t honed in, he can’t score.

      If you’ve got more than 1 trade left, then yeah. Darcy to Gawn or Witts (even Nank lol) should net points.

  10. Traded Cripps to Steele a few weeks ago, been considering if the right move or not and now with the bump its to be seen ..

  16. I realise that Merrett was tagged by Perryman in a losing side, but with Parish back Merrett certainly attracts more attention and hasn’t got a great track record at breaking said tag. Last two games against Port and Richmond should be a straight midfield battle? Worth a trade out to Parish or Petracca? Playing for rank with two trades left.

      1. Teams looking good thankfully! Only other move I’ve been contemplating is Darcy to Gawn with Darcy severely flagging the last few weeks. Went back from 22 to 31 overall atm so trying hard to push where I can in the last 2 weeks

          Thought Darcy got seriously underscored on the weekend, but he needs to take more marks (he is getting his hands to quite a few marking contests but dropping them), and he might continue his ordinary scores against WCE & Nic Nat this week?

          1. Yeah great call Brett! GD has a pretty hot take on Darcy and I tend to agree with both of you. Could definitely be one to look at moving this week as he has pretty tough matchups in Naitanui and Preuss. TyCA might be right above in that he’s more of a pressing issue than Darcy!

  19. Final Trade, Cripps out, will have 620k to spend.
    It’s going to be out of Gawn, Sinclair, Parish, Mills, Walsh, Trac

    Pretty much all remaining teams that I could come up against have Gawn, Sinclair, Trac and Mills, where I have 15-17 mutual players with each team.

    T/U: Go for a Parish or Walsh
    T/D: Even up the ledger a touch and go with Gawn, Sinclair or Trac

  20. Cripps offered 2 weeks by the MRO. Probably appeals? Hard to see how he can wriggle out of the classification of the hit being careless, high contact and high impact though.

    Happy to get a poll up on replacements but does seem pretty intuitive?

      Cripps still owned by 55%. There’s plenty of options and its a pretty easy decision if you have some cash.

      Might still be worth a Poll for replacements under $555K.

      Might be worth also including the D/M like Dawson and Angus Brayshaw.

  25. Last Trade. Who to Trade for Cripps. My next two opponents: both have Sinclair. One has Petracca. I still have Crisp who is a worry with not much coverage in Def whilst I have Duncan as a spare in mid/fwd.
    So Cripps to:

    TU: Petracca
    TD: Sinclair (play safe as a mid and cover def next week as well in case of any outs).

    Was a real shame I cant get to Laird. Would of loved him as a replacement.

    1. I love Sinclair (saints fan) but reckon he’ll almost definitely get tagged in round 23 so Hall has every chance to outscore him anyway and Laird is just so good right now that I would do whatever it takes to get him.

      1. Yep – and Macrae’s last 6 scores are

        104 / 100 / 128 / 95 / 82 / 102

        with a 3 round average of 93

        and with a 5 round average of 101.4

        Will probably “go bigger” against his next two struggling opponents (GWS & Hawthorn) so I am not trading him out of my side, but not sure I would bring him into my side at the moment

        Will be a lot of coaches putting the VC / CAPT on Laird this week versus Nth Melbourne 🙂

    Already trading Short to K.Dawson to find the funds to get in the Bont, not sold on him at top dollar but more of a strategic trade after looking at my P.F and G.F opponents in my cash league, he’s the only one capable of going big and taking the win away from me, having said that I have to get through to the G.F first but with 4 trades remaining it’s all or nothing.

    1. I don’t see any reason to trade either Daicos or Walker out this week. I’d keep the trade for an injury or suspension next week. Tex is playing North and Daicos has just as good a ceiling and average as Redman.

    T/D – Darcy and S Butler to Gawn and J Serong. Burns both trades but it allows me to pay for Gawn.

    Bench depth is D’Ambrosio, Owens, Carmichael, M Rioli of the guys who are possibly playing.

  73. Tossing up between these trades for the preliminary final this week:

    T/U Upgrade Hewett (not playing this week) to Dawson (versus North Melb @ Adelaide Oval)

    With this option, I already have 6 x “premium” defenders on the field that include Short & Pendles & Crisp, so would bench either Pendles or Crisp if I bring in Dawson.

    So am basically upgrading from Pendles or Crisp (on my field) to Dawson with this option

    T/D Sean Darcy (versus WCE @ Optus) to Maxxy Gawn (versus Carl @ MCG)
