  1. Best Cripps replacements, with it looking like he’ll be suspended. I’m thinking of going to Parish.

  2. Season is over Stewart being tagged, Cameron low score and now Cripps probably will be out.
Last trade left just for the league

    TU: Cripps to Parish

    TD: Cripps to Liba

    1. He’ll get pimped out by Nic Nat next week and then finishes up against Preuss and a decent Giants OB brigade.

Totally flat across the ground and if his HTA work isn’t honed in, he can’t score.

If you’ve got more than 1 trade left, then yeah. Darcy to Gawn or Witts (even Nank lol) should net points.

  3. Going for broke this week and using final 2 trades. Got 258k itb

T/U: Short and Cripps (if suspended) to Dawson and Oliver

T/D: Darcy and Cripps to Bont (via English DPP) and Oliver

  4. Traded Cripps to Steele a few weeks ago, been considering if the right move or not and now with the bump its to be seen ..

This week on last trade –
Short to Hall, Surely Hall can stay fit for 2 more rounds ..
    Yes or No?
    – If no then who are best options below 486k please?

  5. Got my trade left and in the prelim for my league. Should I use it to turn Keays into Wines?

    TU: Yes
TD: Hold last trade for emergencies

  6. Final trade of the season, unfortunately to replace Vlastuin (if confirmed out) –
    TU – Luke Ryan
    TD – Gus Brayshaw
    Comments – Adam Saad

  7. Conscious of the fact Sinc might get a tag or two in the final two weeks and Luke Ryans last 4 have been pretty handy.

    TU – Jack Sinclair

    TD – Luke Ryan

  8. I realise that Merrett was tagged by Perryman in a losing side, but with Parish back Merrett certainly attracts more attention and hasn’t got a great track record at breaking said tag. Last two games against Port and Richmond should be a straight midfield battle? Worth a trade out to Parish or Petracca? Playing for rank with two trades left.

    T/u: yes
    T/d: no

      1. Teams looking good thankfully! Only other move I’ve been contemplating is Darcy to Gawn with Darcy severely flagging the last few weeks. Went back from 22 to 31 overall atm so trying hard to push where I can in the last 2 weeks

        1. If Cripps plays, I will be going Sean Darcy to Maxxy

Thought Darcy got seriously underscored on the weekend, but he needs to take more marks (he is getting his hands to quite a few marking contests but dropping them), and he might continue his ordinary scores against WCE & Nic Nat this week?

          1. Yeah great call Brett! GD has a pretty hot take on Darcy and I tend to agree with both of you. Could definitely be one to look at moving this week as he has pretty tough matchups in Naitanui and Preuss. TyCA might be right above in that he’s more of a pressing issue than Darcy!

  9. Final Trade, Cripps out, will have 620k to spend.
It’s going to be out of Gawn, Sinclair, Parish, Mills, Walsh, Trac

Pretty much all remaining teams that I could come up against have Gawn, Sinclair, Trac and Mills, where I have 15-17 mutual players with each team.

T/U: Go for a Parish or Walsh
T/D: Even up the ledger a touch and go with Gawn, Sinclair or Trac

  10. Cripps offered 2 weeks by the MRO. Probably appeals? Hard to see how he can wriggle out of the classification of the hit being careless, high contact and high impact though.

Happy to get a poll up on replacements but does seem pretty intuitive?

    1. Hey GD.

Cripps still owned by 55%. There’s plenty of options and its a pretty easy decision if you have some cash.

Might still be worth a Poll for replacements under $555K.

      LDU
      Warner
      Crouch.
      Etc..

Might be worth also including the D/M like Dawson and Angus Brayshaw.

  11. Last Trade. Who to Trade for Cripps. My next two opponents: both have Sinclair. One has Petracca. I still have Crisp who is a worry with not much coverage in Def whilst I have Duncan as a spare in mid/fwd.
    So Cripps to:

    TU: Petracca
TD: Sinclair (play safe as a mid and cover def next week as well in case of any outs).

Was a real shame I cant get to Laird. Would of loved him as a replacement.

  12. Trade in for Cripps

T/U Jack Steele (versus Bris @ Marvel projected 135 points & versus Sydney @ Marvel projected 124 points)

T/D Callum Mills (versus Coll @ SCG projected 119 points & versus St K @ Marvel projected 107 points)

    Thanks everyone!!

  13. Rumours that Hewett is right to come back just gotta get thru training this week! Would be great to cover Cripps with so fingers crossed

  14. So Cripps verdict upheld and 2 week holiday means trade if people still have him.
Wish I could afford Laird…. Hmm
    TU- safety of Petracca
TD- better draw & uniqueness of parish

    1. I love Sinclair (saints fan) but reckon he’ll almost definitely get tagged in round 23 so Hall has every chance to outscore him anyway and Laird is just so good right now that I would do whatever it takes to get him.

      1. Yep – and Macrae’s last 6 scores are

        104 / 100 / 128 / 95 / 82 / 102

        with a 3 round average of 93

and with a 5 round average of 101.4

Will probably “go bigger” against his next two struggling opponents (GWS & Hawthorn) so I am not trading him out of my side, but not sure I would bring him into my side at the moment

Will be a lot of coaches putting the VC / CAPT on Laird this week versus Nth Melbourne 🙂

  15. I love it that people have trades left while I can only dream. Like most I have Cripps but my bench cover was Ah Chee. It’s been that sort of year!

  16. So cripps reversal now presents me work an issue… who to leave off the field:

    TU – butters
    TD – Brodie

    Comment – Heeney

    Cheers

  17. Wary of the Windhager tag and playing for top 100 rank so points crucial. Have no DEF cover unless Wehr is back.

    TU – Neale to Steele
TD – Hold the last trade in case of DEF injury / suspension

    9
  18. TU Crisp
    TD Brodie
Already trading Short to K.Dawson to find the funds to get in the Bont, not sold on him at top dollar but more of a strategic trade after looking at my P.F and G.F opponents in my cash league, he’s the only one capable of going big and taking the win away from me, having said that I have to get through to the G.F first but with 4 trades remaining it’s all or nothing.
    Thanks in advance.

  19. using my last trade: upgrading Burgoyne to Dawson

who should I field at D6?
TU Short against hawks at mcg
TD Crisp against syd at scg

  20. Will Vlastuin play is the big question ?? Bench cover isn’t great and 1 trade remaining and playing for league win.
    Tu- Just Pick Dawson
Td – Wait, and if Vlastuin doesn’t play, options become limited to picking either Houston, Ryan or Redman.

  21. One trade left. Options for this week: –
    1. Daicos to Redman
    2. Taylor Walker to J.Cameron/D.Cameron/J.Anderson
    3. No trade

    Would love some advice. Cheers

    1. I don’t see any reason to trade either Daicos or Walker out this week. I’d keep the trade for an injury or suspension next week. Tex is playing North and Daicos has just as good a ceiling and average as Redman.

  22. Season well and truly done and dusted. Last trade to use on Preuss with $435k to spend.

    TU – J. De Goey
    TD – J. Stephenson

Comment – Another option like Sidebottom or maybe some forwards in hopes of a couple bags to finish like Buddy, Lynch or Walker (or anyone else you like). Cheers.

  23. 2 trades left and want to move Darcy on.

T/U – Darcy to Marshall saving an emergency trade for next week.
T/D – Darcy and S Butler to Gawn and J Serong. Burns both trades but it allows me to pay for Gawn.

Bench depth is D’Ambrosio, Owens, Carmichael, M Rioli of the guys who are possibly playing.

  24. Tossing up between these trades for the preliminary final this week:

T/U Upgrade Hewett (not playing this week) to Dawson (versus North Melb @ Adelaide Oval)

With this option, I already have 6 x “premium” defenders on the field that include Short & Pendles & Crisp, so would bench either Pendles or Crisp if I bring in Dawson.

So am basically upgrading from Pendles or Crisp (on my field) to Dawson with this option

T/D Sean Darcy (versus WCE @ Optus) to Maxxy Gawn (versus Carl @ MCG)

    Thanks legends 🙂

  25. Should I use last two trades to enable Darcy Cameron to Max Gawn or straight swap Cameron to Nankervis saving one trade or hold both trades.
    t/u Get in Gawn
    t/d Save a trade
    comment stick with Cameron

Darcy to Gawn (would have to use my 2 last trades for it)

  27. Def needs work to get me over the line this week!

Do i trade Vlastuin or Cumming out?

And do I bring in Docherty or Dawson for them?

  28. TU Marshall, with Crisp on field and looping Butters/English

TD Andy Brayshaw/Dawson with Crisp on bench

Opponent has Marshall and he has me worried, but so does another low Crisp score

  29. 2 trades and 200k itb and no real bench coverage. I’m thinking 1 upgrade this week and hold for injuries

    TU: English to Gawn

    Or

    TD Macrae to Miller
