  1. Dilemma with my final remaining trade….

Cincotta is my D 6 and Max Holmes is my Mid 8….I’d like to get rid of Cincotta but will only have around $380k to replace him, and if I get rid of Holmes I’ll have about $530k to play with for a solid Mid. Should I just accept I’ll be lacking in Defence and secure another strong Mid?

    TU: Trade Cincotta
    TD: Trade Holmes

    Thanks!

    • Pedro if you work it out on averages its not much difference, but if you look at other things it makes sense to trade Holmes to eg Macrae.

Cincotta plus Macrae averages get you to 164 points.
Holmes plus Ballard gets you to 161 points. Not much in it.
But you would have to think that Macrae plus Cincotta has a higher floor, higher ceiling, and much higher potential, especially if you can have Macrae on field and can loop Cincotta.

  2. What happens to Soldo now ? Bought him in to cover Cameron and get some cash 3 weeks ago. He’s been good but I guess he’ll make way for Nank ? He’s made enough cash for a 486k fwd or back. Thinking Llord ?

    • Soldo will hold his place. They will play 2 rucks i reckon to try and stop English.

He wont score as much as recently but could hold as a F7 loop option. But is he is an onfield option then probably a trade out

    • Dunkley imo – he’s somewhat of a partial POD now too as quite a few jumped off.

Gulden throws out some amazing scores but also serves up the occasional lemon.

Dunkley is rolled gold. Can’t go wrong with him.

  4. Asked this last week (poll was pretty even) but ended up not pulling the trigger as league win was pretty safe.

    Trade Ashcroft to:

    T/U – Touk Touk
    T/D – Jelly

Comment – Reccomend someone different (can be essentially any line. If going a midfielder it drops either C. Mills or J. Cameron to the bench).

    • Both a little risky. Touk has been getting specific roles rather than just playing in the guts and Jelly has Green coming back this week.

  6. Anyone got some intel on Keays? Been slightly frustrating this last month and assume he’s been playing more forward. Can move him on but also aware if to hold that 3 of his next 4 he’s tonned up against this season. Should I expect similar?

If not have 610k in bank to swap.

    • Don’t think there is room for him in the guts at the moment. Crouch has come in and doesn’t look like being dropped. Might still get a tagging role that drags him in there occasionally. If on field and you have multiple trades then I’d be tempted to move him on.

Tossing up between Brayshaw (Fre), Serong, Butters or left field Curnow or Walker.

      Thumbs up: Redman>Ryan (defence)
      Thumbs down: Keays>Rozee (fwd)
Comment: should I use the last trade to get a mid priced dpp cover on the bench?

  9. 2 trades left.

Is it worth going Himmelburg to D. Cameron, or should I hold on to both trades in case of injuries? Currently ranked around 1200 aiming for top 1k

    TU – Do it
TD – Hold just in case

    • Essentially that’s Butters v Parish 🙂
Geez another tough call that one.
Above we were musing over Butters v Macrae now you’ve added the Parishner to the mix.
Also could add Treloar – same avg same price
      8 trades though! flip

  13. Have RoMo and Briggs and wondering if I should swap out Briggs for Either Gawn or Tingles for a couple of knockout finals.

TU worth doing at this stage
TD keep Briggs and save your (3) trades.
