  1. One trade left, in one league left but if I win this week I’m straight into the GF.

TU: McKercher/Trac for Thilthorpe (likely to be a winner this week playing Richmond. However, he’ll likely get Sam Taylor GF week)
TD: Marshall to Gulden via DPP (now TDK back Marshall’s outputs could suffer. Gulden also has PTA/ESS/NM to finish)

I feel like the answer is academic but damn McKercher and Trac are bugging me. Lost my primary league by 15 points and they were a big part of it

    • Still three rounds to go … do you have enough cover on the bench if an injury pops up? I’d be reluctant to use your last trade in the circumstances.

      • Truth in that but sometimes you have to be bold too eh? I’m covered def and mid, not in ruck or fwd. But for rucks, I haven’t had coverage all season and it seems to have worked out. I may only have 2 weeks left in league if I can win this week so at this stage will likely pull the trigger. But the week is still young!

        • Have had a rethink, unless something happens at team selection going to hold. Sounds like TDK will miss so have to keep Marshall. And can rejig team, use Fitzgerald to loophole Trac so hopefully Fitzy has a good one. Then just have to deal with McKercher but hopefully if he stinks it up he’s simply the 23rd man. Cheers for sage advice LeGoat

          • I’m in the same boat Harry – the temptation has been there all week with the likes of Trac struggling. Feel as if we’re guaranteed to cop an injury in the next fortnight which having a trade to use will alleviative some post-season pondering of what could have been. Best of luck in the run in.

    • See if the teams like Fremantle, got the top of ladder won, and Geelong playing the bottom sides rest a players over the next couple of weeks, with the wildcard teams I can see a few big names out for a round or two.

      • WalGeelong are still an outsider roughy chance for top 4 but 5th pozzie and a home state final is realistic so unlikely to rest Smith, Stewart, Bruhn or Miers/Mannagh at this stage…….I am assuming that on WildCard Finals round 7th thru 10th play and the top 6 have the round off to sort out bumps bruises and niggles???

  2. In possibly the dumbest move of the year, which possibly sums up thd 2nd half of the season, I used my last trade last week to turn Bailey Dale into Wayne Milera. Didnt look closely enough at teams to know Milera was out. Consequently knocked out of most leagues.

  3. I’m not too sure what to do. I still have herbert and unfortunately have greeves at m8. Is trac the move to make or should i focus on herbert and greeves,

    Tu: trac to gulden
    Td: herbert to gulden

Milera with a Hammy Might be Back for The Real Finals but no sooner so TRADE him if you can…He goes before Trac…or even Worrell…They are playing …Milera is NOT…a straight swap for Whitfield…Stewart with the great Geelong draw as is Bruhn or HAWK Impey is in hot form…who do you fancy?

  5. I know there’s the Captains article to come but there seems to be a lot of good matchups this week for v/c and capt – As Bulldogs play North in first game was wondering if there are better options later for v/c than Bont or Sheezel – and what that would be? Anyone’s opinion would be much appreciated!!

  6. Looking for a defender to upgrade HHK. Have ash, whit, NWM, Wilkie, parker.

Thinking either zorko or tom Stewart who both have good runs home. Appreciate any thoughts?
