  1. Where to begin..
Will try to get parker in at all costs this week before he blows out in price.

Is it worth chopping daicos to make this happen?

    2

    35
  2. Parker in with probably McComb and Clark as downgrades, as I have 0$ in the bank.

Carrol coming in the week after.

    Anyone not getting Parker ?

    1. I think for me FT it will be a choice of Short or Parker. Will Mull it over the next 48 hours and see if I can get both maybe

      4

        1. Thanks FT. Have had to make some serious moves the last few weeks to become competitive as I was so far off the pace. Seem to be paying off. Ranking finally went in the right direction last week and hoping for the same again this week.

The promise of midfield time for Short is extremely enticing.

    2. Had Pruess/Hayes as my ruck line so Witts will be coming in.

Just need to decide who to cull and if I should go early on Clark or take McComb or not

  3. Last week I asked if I should bring in Oliver and Rosas, or Parker and Petracca… met with an overwhelming 21:2!

Absolutely livid with my sheep mentality rather than selling high, buying low 🙁

    15

  4. Was devastated – looped Gibcus at the start but didn’t put the E on him! My first donut – and an own goal.

What do we think about Cripps? It’s getting hard to deny the Golden God himself…
    TU: Top 8 Mid
    TD: Not durable enough

  5. Is it worth using an trade boost to get Parker in this week? (Have used 3 already as I want to get full premo asap)
    Tu or Td

    1. I’d hold at least a couple trade boosts for the byes, as there’s always more carnage than expected.

      4

    1. McComb looked alright today (admittedly against weaker oppostion)

Otherwise, wait a week for Clark, Carroll, Rioli or Hamilton (or don’t wait…)

      1. Yeah I don’t mind him Abs. He had a crack on Sat night. Maybe underscored a tad. I’ll be surprised if he gets drops.

  6. Berry, Rachele and Durdin are all on the block

Should’ve got Parker this week! Probably still good value.

    7

  7. Cannot have Hayes at R2 and time for JHF and Rachele to go. (Probably a week late maybe)
So my trades this week will be:
    Out JHF and Rachele
    In Gawn and Clarke
It means I will be holding Xerri and Dixon will be my F7 in the meantime.

    1. I would caution against counting on Dixon as being F6 Shaggi, he was a late in this weekend so is definitely right on the edge of best 22. He didn’t do a heap to ensure he holds his spot this coming week either.

Maybe some of our WCE supporting counterparts can give their view on his JS?

      2

      3
      1. Dixon is in the best 22, whilst Nic Nat is out.

He was only a late in due to an injury concern and was given time to prove his fitness.

Game didn’t suit on the weekend with Richmond dominating and little opportunity in forwardline. Will be better for game, fitness wise.
He will sit at my F7, just like Shaggi’s team.

        1. Good Intel, thanks CT. Worth holding a bit longer and hopefully get some cash Gen and bench coverage from him.

          1

      1. I think Dixon will hold his place for a while cause who else have they got
No NicNat, Allen or Williams so it will be he and Strnadica doing the ruck work.
Really he is still there to provide a loop with a R/F like Xerri when I cash in Hayes.
I hope I never have to field him though.

        1. Yeah that’s where my thinking lies as well. Hoping English comes back into my forward line in a few weeks and Dixon will be the DPP switch for it.

  8. Who goes first out of Horne-Francis, Ward & Rachele?

Rachele has the lowest floor but also the highest ceiling..

    2

    0
    1. I’d say Rachele is going to continue to lose cash with a BE of 78 and no scores over 50 the last three weeks.

  9. Really having a suss of this:

    McCartin, Dixon & Durdin
    ->
Luke Parker, Clark & another rook.

    Daicos D6 / JHF M8 / N. Martin F6 only rookies left on-field.

    22 trades ITB.

        1. Decent. 2540. Still lost in LoEC 2. But won most of my other leagues. Finally picked a captain correctly in Gawn. Only the second time this year I have nailed captain choice.

          3

  10. Odriscoll > Clark (via dpp)
    Hayes > Strnadica

Do I make the third trade and activate my 4th trade boost of the season?

    Dixon > Luke Parker

Tu; Do it, get Parker whilst he’s still cheap
Td; Hold off and save the boost

    22

    15
  11. Should i sell Dixon to trade in Parker?

    TU:J.Rachele,H.Dixon > L.Parker, G.Clark

TD: Keep Dixon still more money to make

    23

    4
  12. Just the two trades this week barring any unforeseen injuries/outs.

    Rachele > G. Clark
    J. Hayes > Parker.

    86k banked.

  13. think its pretty straight forward this week for me

    Out: NOD and Rachele
    In: Heeney and Clark

Leaves me 25 trades and the team looking really solid.

Defence: Sicily Hewett Short Ryan Ridley Gibcus (Mccartin Uwland
Mid: Steele Macrae Neale Oliver Miller Cripps Daicos Clarke (Ward Mcdonald Hough)
    Ruck: Gawn Preuss (S Hayes)
Fwd Dunkley Heeney Butters Brodie Coniglio Martin (De Koning Rosas)

Got some cows to fatten but got a lot of my rookies off the field so feeling great. If anyone has any other trade or other premos they prefer over Heeney for 550k please let me know!

    6

    0
    1. I also have the decision to bring in either Heeney (averaging 113.7, $535,500 , BE = 127) or Parker (averaging 104, $518,800, BE = 51).

So would be interested in finding out why you have chosen Heeney in this instance?

      Also what do others think?

      T/U Heeney

      T/D Parker

      Thanks!!

      5

      9
  14. Deciding on how to bring in Cripps this week

Tu: Use one trade and bring him in for rowell leaving Clark m8 (have 115k in the bank so just enough)
Td: Use two trades and bring him in for ward leaving Rowell M8

    24 trades left

    7

    28
  15. I think this is a straight forward trade but got two option defender trade or Forward trade.
    TU:N.Odriscoll, J.Rachele > J.Short,G.Clark

    TD:N.Odriscoll, J.Rachele > G.Clark, L.Parker

    DEF
    J.Sinclair, G.Hewett,J.Lloyd,N.Daicos,N.O Driscoll, J.Gibcus (P.Mccartain, S De,koning)
    MID

    1. Is a tricky one, I definitely think short is a much better choice than parker but youre a lot weaker in your fwds then down back. Any fwds caught your eye other than parker?

      2

      1. I have about 545K to spend and im looking to Parker and Heeney other players they seem not a safe option what do you think?

        4

        0
  16. Is t thomas an option at the price.
I am also leaning towards wines as a perfect m7-8 for 500k
TU- Caldwell, JHF and Rachele to Mccomb, Wines and Thomas
Td- Caldwell and Rachele for Mccomb and Wines bank 100k

    3

    14
    1. I really like Tarryn but definitely wouldn’t be trading him yet. His 75 on Saturday was his highest score for the year so don’t think he’s worth picking up just yet and definitely not worth burning a boost for. Hold out and wait for him to show it cause his break even of 95 is still not something he’s hit yet.

      3

      1
  17. Out: Berry + Rachelle/Hayes
    In: Clark + Cripps

    Leaves me with:
Def: crisp, short, hewett, dawson, daicos, gibcus (SDK, Mccartin)
Mid: Steele, macrae, miller, Oliver, cripps, neale, green, Clark (Macdonald, Stephens, ward)
    Ruc: witts, preuss (Hayes)
Fwd: dunkley, Parker, butters, Brodie, coniglio, Martin (Hayes/Rachelle, Rosas)
    25 trades $30k itb

    4

    1
  18. I’m thinking:

    Trade out: Daicos, Caldwell, Dixon
Trade in: Short, G Clark, Parker

Pains me to trade out Caldwell, Daicos however I would like to bring in Parker and Short whilst still semi affordable.

TU: Sounds like the right call
    TD: not worth it

    12

    6
  19. Is Rowell to a Petracca worth it? Will be my M7.
Or just keep Rowell till the byes?

    TU Yeh.
    TD Nah.

    8

    16
  20. Can do 1 up, 1 down with J Hayes and NOD to a rookie and

    TU: Touk
    TD: Parker

Parker looked great today and it’s not even his highest score for the year but already having Mills and Heeney, it feels a bit risky. Or maybe it protects from any of them stealing points from each other

    15

    1
    1. Actually, I also love Tom Stewart and have hated not having him so alternate option:

      TU: Stewart

      12

      1
  21. Thinking of using my 2nd trade boost so I can fit both Parker and Short in. It would leave me with 24 trades remaining.

In: McComb (I can only afford this trade with a 102k rookie), L.Parker, Short
    Out: Daicos, Berry, Horne-Francis

    Team after the trade –
Def: Crisp, Sicily, Hewett, Short, Ridley, Whitfield (Gibcus, De Koning)
Mid: Macrae, Neale, Oliver, Keays, A.Brayshaw, Cripps, L.Parker, O’Driscoll (MacDonald, Hollands, McComb)
    Ruck: Witts, Pruess (S. Hayes)
Fwd: Dunkley, Heeney, Butters, Coniglio, Martin, McCartin (Rachele, Dixon)

TU: Use the boost for 2:1 upgrade. Then double downgrade next week (Clark, Carroll, etc.)
TD: Save it, go 1:1, and keep Daicos through the byes.

  22. looking at trading Rachele and JHF this week

JHF goes to Clark and Rachele goes to either Oliver or Parker

    T/U – Oliver

    T/D – Parker

personally not massively keen on parker, especially considering he has had three sub 80 scores this year, but he seems to have a good role and will allow me to trade someone like daicos next week for someone like touk or clarry next week, so i may go for parker regardless

    13

    1
    1. Parker’s definitely worth keeping in your fwds rather than taking up a mid spot, if you can

      1

      0
  23. Really want to get in either Cripps or Short before they shoot up in price next week

TU: Get rid of Daicos and Horne-Francis to do it
TD: Still money to make, keep the rooks

    12

    4
  24. just wanted to post where my team is at and get some feedback. I am currently top 25% after a horrible start with performance, injuries and poor rookie selections. aim to push for top 10% and redeem this season

I have 23 trades after this week and have 200k left in the bank for a daicos upgrade next week, so likely will have 21 after next week and around 100k depending on who I trade alongside Daicos

Def – Crisp, Sicily, Hewett, Short, Ridley, O’Driscoll (De Koning, Dean)

Crisp, Sicily, Hewett and Short are all keepers for me, with ridley borderline, but maybe a luxury trade

Mid – Steele, Macrae, Neale, Cripps, Brodie, Daicos, Martin, Clark (McDonald, Soligo, Uwland)

Steele, Macrae, Neale, Cripps are all likely to be keepers, with bodies a keeper when I eventually switch him down forward. Daicos will go next week for either Touk or Clarry or maybe Mills. Martin will go when he tops out, same with clark. Mcdonald will probably stay as coverage

    Ruck-Gawn, English (S Hayes)

Started the season with grundy darcy and J Hayes, they are all gone. Others will likely be keepers and hayes will go late to fund luxury upgrades

Fwd – Dunkley, Heeney, Parker, butters, Cogs, Rosas ( Mccartin, Long)

probably my strongest line with those five being keepers and Brodie being a keeper as well. Rosas and mccartin will go, long should break into the hawks side

thoughts on the team if you’ve read this far? and thoughts on my plans for the team or alternative plans

    2

    0
    1. You have a lot of rookies that are clogging up your bench and not playing / making money. There’s a few coming up this week and next, so get at least 3 of them in. Otherwise, your mids are your weakest line and that’s where most of your points come from, so upgrade there first.

      1

      0
      1. I think Long will break into the side, same with dean when he recovers. Uwland is there for DPP and Soligo is the only other one not playing

        0

        0
  25. Who’s more of a priority (can afford either):

    Tu: Gawn
    Td: Parker

I’m rocking Preuss and S Hayes as r1 and r2 so keen to get Gawn for the big points, but don’t want to miss Parker at his price.

    24

    0
    1. It comes to who you think will average more from this week on.. Parker will eventually come down in price he’s prone to a bad score here and there

      3

      0
    2. Have a similar situation.

I’m looking closely at Witts. Cheaper then Gawn and scoring great.

      6

      2
  26. From this point on all changes have to be made in accordance to bye structure. Particularly losing R12 byes.

    Gawn and Clark in early.
    Durdin and Rachele out.

Skipping on Witts as Gawn actually works better for the byes for me. Rachele and Clark have the same bye so no change there.

I have far too many (13) round 12 bye guys. Almost my whole backline is full of them. Yet only 6 round 14 guys.

    8

    1
  27. OUT – macrae, NOD.
    IN – Parker, short.
Will have green at m7, Clark at m8.

    0

    27
      1. Just seeing people’s thoughts on the idea.
200 break even can get him back at the byes.
Have to trade in Parker and short now to get the value or skip them till someone else drops in price.
Probably boosting Parker in VIA- Nod, Ward and McDonald.

        2

        7
  28. Was rage trading on Saturday but Sunday recovered to a nice 2450 score so just keep chipping away

    JHF to G Clark
    D Moore to J Short

My POD of Moore was a bad move so off he goes

145k in the bank for another upgrade promo next week

    6

    1
    1. thought you meant Dylan Moore (Hawks) not Darcy! Would’ve said geez he’s been a great POD.

Sounds like a good move though.

      4

      0
    1. He’s not THE worst option but recently Gawn, Witts and Preuss are all on fire. You have Hayes for cash and Dixon for DPP.

Sadly the DPP options and potential options – English, Xerri, and Marshall are all out. the only one floating around that I’d back with coin is Ladhams and evven he’s risky and probably Parker was a better bet in the Fwds.

I’d back Preuss or Witts before Cameron.

      0

      1
  29. Does Dixon make any more money the coming weeks? BE of 47 more than achievable, but with the Lions, Dees, Giants and Dogs coming up… thinking he might have to go this week. Anyone else thinking of moving him on even at F7?

    6

    2
    1. He’s still an essential cog becaue west coast are so short on rucks. Strnadica is doing better than him and is a bubble boy. If you don’t have him Strnadica is better, but he’s not worth a trade out.

      1

      1
  30. Dow, Daicos, Whitfield -> Short, Parker, GClark

Take the rest of the week off…done & dusted

    15

    0
  31. Out of Odrizzle, Berry, JHF who needs to be traded this week?
    TU- Odrizzle
    TD- Berry
    Comment JHF

    1

    5
    1. JHF isn’t a desperate trade out at 58 B/E but O’Driscoll has probably got more potential, more cash growth, dpp and the BYE advantage imho

      1

      1
  32. Only 21 trades left after doing 3 this week already. Already at about 70% premos

T/U – enough to get through
    T/D – not enough

    20

    3
    1. I seriously considered VlaSTONE (since it’s now pronounced that way).

He was on the bubble and a 126 average.

Reality is he’s never been a 126 point player and never will be.

He’s a good solid 90 point defender on freak high. This week’s result is more like what he’s actually worth.

      He’s not a top 10, probably not even a top 20 defender.

At 460k last week he was marginal enough. Now he’s a no way.

      2

      1
  33. Bought parker in Friday night so was very happy with 150 but woulda preferred it been a 110 and stayed a pod, I have very few of them and it’s hurting me haha his ownership will sky rocket this week.

Happy I went with parker over de goey though.

    6

    0
    1. Kiddy could be useful through the byes. That R14 is handy and it gives max cash growth before a trade. But since Curtis has the R14 bye it’s kind of moot.

Curtis is a 50 point player through and through. That’s good enough for the money, but j/s is the biggest risk.

      0

      1
  34. Is it worth it to trade Rachelle to Curtis or McComb this week with 24 trades left or wait till Clark and Carroll next week?
    TU: Get mccomb or curtis
TD: Wait till next week for Clark or carroll
COMMENT: Go this week on clark

    7

    1
  35. Time for Rachele to go so going a week early on Clark.

TU: Rachele, Dixon -> Clark, Preuss (Can’t have Hayes at R2)
TD: Rachele, Daicos -> Clark, Short (Trust Hayes, need Short)

    Thanks team.

    2

    6
    1. Daicos dpp and r14 bye is useful if you have dpp defenders like Hewett, so then I’d go T/U

If you don’t then Short as a midfielder is mighty tempting.

      1

      1
  36. 24 trades left
Worth it to get pruess in still because otherwise I have hayes at R2
TU: Dixon > Preuss and Rachelle > Clark, Hayes to R3
    TD: Hold the trades

    9

    1
    1. Preuss should get another 100k. Not sure how hayes goes from now, deefinitely would rather Preuss

      5

      0
  37. is parker a must get? Is he now moved back into the midfield?

    tu: yes get him
td: he’s not a must have

    7

    18
    1. Parker season long as a forward and a 105-115 average is a great grab. But he WILL punch out low scores at least 2 or 3 more times this season.

      1

      1
  38. Is anyone looking at Dylan Moore over someone like Parker?
    TU – yes
TD – no, Parker better choice every day

    25

    5
    1. Will be interesting to see if Moore attended any CBA’s on the weekend?

From what I understand he hasn’t been going into any CBA’s so far this year, but he did mention a “higher up the ground & behind the ball” role change in an interview I saw with him after the game on the weekend.

So I thought that was interesting – as being a small forward in a young side might be tough going as the year goes on.

  39. NEED HELP,

Currently have 498K ITB for a forward, traded out NOD and rachele

HAve JHF and Daicos, really need suggestions

    0

    0
  40. TU: JHF & NOD > G. Clark & Parker

    TD: JHF & NOD > R. McComb & Short

Like Clark a lot more but McComb allows me to grab Short with DEF easily my weakest line, then look at getting Clark and maybe even Parker next week? Thoughts?

    1

    12
  41. Rachele & JHF -> Parker & Clark (a week early)

    Team will look like this:
D: Sinclair, Hewett, Short, Ridley, Bowey, Daicos (McCartin, De Koning)
M: Neale, Cripps, Oliver, Steele, Macrae, Miller, Brayshaw, Dunkley (Stephens, MacDonald, Clark)
    R: Preuss, Hayes (Dixon)
F: Parker, Brodie, Butters, Coniglio, Martin, Rosas (Durdin, Hayes)

    TU: Do it!
    TD: Think again!

    5

    1
    1. Imo holding off will make you 40 -50 k richer if you go Mccomb and you pick up clark the following week when he is on the bubble if he doesnt get hurt.

      8

      0
  42. Would love your opinions on how I’m tracking!

D: Crisp, Sicily, Hewett, Daicos, Gibcus, De Koning (Chapman, McCartin)

M: Steele, Neale, Oliver, Miller, Keays, Brayshaw, Green, Cripps (Hough, Clark, McComb)

    R: Pruess, S.Hayes (English)

F: Dunkley, Parker, Brodie, Butters, Cogs, N.Martin (Dixon, Dempsey)

13.3k left and 25 trades. Thanks!

    2

    1. Forgot to add, thinking about a way I can add Stewart or Short to my defence and maybe McDonagh?

      0

      0
        1. Tim English (hamstring): 1-2 weeks.
From Western Bulldogs injury update (27th April).

          3

          0
  43. Out: Bowey, Rachele, JHF
    In: Pendlebury, Parker, McComb

    Team after trade:

D Sicily, Pendlebury, Hewett, Dale, Short, NOD (McCartin, SDK)

M Macrae, Neale, Oliver, Parish, Miller, Brayshaw, Cripps, Daicos (Mead, MacDonald, McComb)

    R Preuss, Hayes (Dixon)

F Dunkley, Parker, Brodie, Butters, Coniglio, Martin (Xerri, Dixon)

21 Trades (had to fix loads) and $67k ITB

I know the ruck line is soft… Xerri and another rookie to be named become English when he’s back to give it a boost. When Hayes is fattened he and another cow become Gawn or the best available for price, swinging English forward. I’ll look at rounding out the remaining spots in midfield and defence with best available at price as well.

Would really appreciate commentary on this weeks rookie from the community. Currently McComb as I think there may be a spot for him to the byes with Hunter not in the side. Or, should it be Clark instead?

    Tu McComb
    Td Clark

Feel free to comment on the team/strategy.

    5

    5
    1. Should also point out that the plan is definitely to pull the trigger on Clark next week regardless.

      4

  44. O’Driscoll to Clark
    Rachele to Parker

Leaves 26 trades and $161.1k ITB.

    TU; Do it
    TD: Hold the trades

    Thanks !

  45. Is it worth it to get preuss still with a breakeven of -13 so that I can get sam hayes off the field.
    TU: Yes
    TD: No

    19

    8
    1. I reckon NOD could make a bit more money yet- North, Gold Coast and Collingwood coming up, not a bad little run. Berry a decent couple of games coming up too where there’s potential for big scoring. JHF going out for me

      8

      1
  46. So I started Jake Lloyd…has not had a SC friendly role this year, averaging 90 in a sea of 100+ defenders.

I have Short, Crisp, Hewett, Sicily, Gibcus.

Is it worth looking at someone offering value and high consistency, 60k in the bank would get me a Pendlebury, Dale or May.

TU: Yep, move him onto one of those three, not his year
    TD: No, stick it out

    1. Hold onto Lloyd and focus on upgrading your rookies to premiums for now.

If you have trades left and you’re still not happy with Lloyd later in the year then you could potentially consider it as somewhat of a luxury trade.

    2. He’s just the type of player to severely punish you for trading out.
I traded him in 2 weeks ago because i was getting uncomfortable not having him.
He’s not doing great but has a great floor and i feel relaxed now.

  47. I think I will be going JHF & Rachelle out with Parker and Clark in, gives me $192K for next weeks trades. Is Parker the real deal but????

    4
    1. He’s always been the real deal. He’s just not consistent.

He’ll average 105-115. But still put in some sub par scores. He can lose you a couple of matches for the rest of the year but for the price will win you at least as many.

      3

      1
    2. Parker- 2=gangbusters, 1=premium type score, 1=just par, 2= rookie type score, and 1 30 odd shambles,
Where does he play , cbas are 70% ish now but, the horse just likes to win games and if we knew heeney, parker, midtime makes it easy but it will change every week so there lies the conundrum.

  48. Hi just wondering who the better long term option maybe ?

    TU Andrew Bradshaw

    TD Touk Miller

    Thanks again

    1. Very true but this season is all about going early so far. Burn thru those trades!
Clarke is a good bet if he gets you another premium in.

  49. Thinking of…
    Whitfield to McComb
    Naish to Gawn
Rookies on field will be Daicos, JHF, De Koning/Rosas

    T/U – Go for it
T/D – Wait on Gawn and upgrade elsewhere

    5

    4
  50. For the downgrade target:

TU: Curtis (playing in a roos team that is less likely to drop a kid)
TD: McComb (looks ok and is cheaper but Bevo can change his mind in a heartbeat)

  51. thoughts?

sam skinner[hasn’t played since round 2-3]-Clark

    next week
    JHF-upgrade to premo
    Ward-downgrade to carrol or begg

obviously if JHF plays well i’ll hold for longer

    altogether thoughts?

  52. have two options this week.

TU: use two trades and get in parker (xerri, rachele – clark and parker)

TD: use three trades and get in Gawn (xerri, rachele, mccartin -clark, mccomb and gawn)

  53. This weeks trades:

    Out: Berry, McCreery
    In: McComb and Curtis.

I can use a trade boost to get either Gawn or Parker. But, I can loophole Curtis and S Hayes with J Hayes. If a miracle happen and Curtis gets a Ton and Hayes doesn’t. I’ll get Gawn. If a miracle happens and S Hayes gets a Ton and Curtis doesn’t I’ll get Parker. If by a near impossible outcome and both S Hayes and Curtis both get Tons I will just get Gawn for my piece of mind.

  54. T/U – Option 1:
    Rachele > Clark
    H. Dixon > Parker

    T/D – Option 2
    Rachele > Clark
    NOD > Stewart

    Thanks everyone 🙂

  55. I’ve planned to go Berry(M8) and Rachele(M9) to Brayshaw and Clark.
Leaves me with 200k in the bank but isn’t enough to get another premium in from a bench rookie.
Should I trade a Daicos(D5) and get a premium($587k) or downgrade a J.Hayes(R3, Who I still have because others have been more a priority) to a McComb/ Strnadica/Curtis or early on Carroll.

    TU: Hold Trade
    TD: Trade Daicos
    Comment: Downgrade Hayes to Who??

  56. With Macrae about to lose all sorts of cash over the next couple of weeks is it completely crazy to consider trading him for a clark type to upgrade hayes (R2) to gawn? Feel like its just a waste of trades but have considered it.

    T/U crazy
    T/D crazy

  57. NEED HELP!!
Been tossing up with two scenarios

    T/U: Rachele>clark
    NOD>Mccomb
would have both on bench, loopholing mccomb, would also leave me with 398k ITB

    T/D NOD>Clark
    Rachele> Moore
Really liked how moores looking this year, could also be a great POD, howver only have 3k ITB:(

Both scenarios have their pros and cons, just really need some expert advice, comment if there is anything you would change please

    1

    5
    1. I always find it funny that people write options like this. How about:

      TU McComb + $398K
      TD Moore + $3K

And then explain what the plan is for the extra money in option A, because that’s very important.

      11

      2
  58. Clark comes in next week but this week…
    Out – Jackson, Rachele, Chapman
In – Cripps, Curtis and at F2???

    T/U – Parker
    T/D – Moore

    13

    10
  59. Struggling for rookies if jHF is getting the Rookie of the year vote for the week and everyone is trading him out.

    God bless us with rookies…

Double/double down for the next week and got hard towards the byes

    1. The same question I had!
Was always planning to go Stewart this week but his big score means I’ll need a boost to get him now. 600k is a lot to pay for a defender this year But I think it’s still the time to jump on now otherwise it won’t be for a while and he’ll be in the top 2 defenders I would say by end of year.

      3

      0
      1. Yep my exact thoughts Sim, I think we know for almost a fact that barring injury Stewart will be a top 6 defender. I think Parker probably will be too. But the consistency of Stewart is crazy and he’s so easy on the eye to have in your team. I hate not having him. So will just pay up for him now I think!!

        4

        0
  60. With Keidean Coleman back, Zorko played almost as a pure mid this week again with an immediate good score. Tempting to go for him as a POD, especially because he’s a lot cheaper than the other premos.

    TU: Yes
    TD: No

    5

    11
  61. Instead, try and get both by doing:

    OUT Butters ($449,600) Daicos ($379,600) O’Driscoll ($303,800)
    IN Clark ($117,300) Parker ($518,800) Miller ($592,100)

TU yes do it two premo upgrades in 3 trades
TD no don’t, sacrificing good players early

    4

    17
    1. Butters is a Premo with a high ceiling and has a decent chance to outscore Parker/Miller any given round.

I would advise against using a boost to sideswap a healthy premo until your team is complete

      3

      1
    1. Check how many r12 premos you have. Cripps would be the preferred (as per the poll results) unless you are already loaded with r12 players.

      5

  62. With so many rookies potentially on the bubble next week, keeping cash on hand this week seems to be a waste. Time to spend up:

    OUT: Daicos, Berry and Rachele
    IN: Pendlebury, Parker and McComb

Pendles is a boring option but I feel like that’s exactly what my team needs right now.

    8

    0
    1. I’m with you Chillo – some “Pendles boring” is good for my backline 🙂 🙂

And there is some potentially very good rooks on the bubble next week for downgrades (Clark, Carroll, maybe Hamilton, maybe Rioli).

So for me this week (with $170k in the bank), I am thinking of using a third trade boost & going:

      Out – Caldwell ($380k), Xerri ($346k) and Rachele ($273k)

      In – McComb ($102k), Pendles ($542.7k) and Parker ($518.8k)

Leaves me with only $6k in the bank – and still needing to get Stewart and Docherty into my DEF at some point (as can’t afford them now).

      T/U Good moves
      T/D Need to rethink

Comment – swap Pendles for either Bailey Dale or Dan Houston or Daniel Rich or Jake Lloyd ?

      3

  63. is lipinski a hold to at least the bye rounds?

otherwise i can trade him in for parker

    TU
    TD

  64. Thoughts on these please, leaves me 22 Trades & 2 boosts with 4K ITB

    Bowey – Short
Berry – Parker (Via N Martin)
    Horne-Francis – Clark

    My team is then:

DEF: Crisp, Hewett, Short, Ridley, Daicos, De Koning (McCartin & Boyd)
MID: Neale, McRae, Oliver, Cripps, Miller, Mitchell, M Crouch, Martin (O’Driscoll, Clark & Hough)
Ruck: Gawn & Preuss (S Hayes)
FWD: Dunkley, Treloar, Parker, Butters, Coniglio, Rosas (Dixon & Vaselenti)

4 definite upgrades (maybe up to an extra 3 with Butters, Pruess & M Crouch)

So in terms of upgrades/downgrades I’m looking at

Out – Daicos, De Koning, McCartin, Martin, O’Driscoll, Clark, S Hayes, Rosas & Dixon

    Targets – Stewart, Docherty/Sinclair, Steele/Wines, English/ Heeney

    1

    1
    1. Reckon you should be looking at getting those rooks off the field first before upgrading midpricers. Also Bowey and Berry are R14 bye players, ideal for trading out at their bye which gives 2 extra playing bye players. Get Clark and uprade a McCartin type maybe? Just my thoughts.

  65. I missed out getting Rosas last week. Is he still worth bringing in?
TU Yes good security and money to be made
TD No bring in Curtis/Hamilton/Rioli instead

    1

    20
  66. TU – Docherty

    TD – Crisp

Backline is weak and these are the highest I can afford trading out NOD. Docherty has a significantly higher average so leaning towards him.

    9

    12
    1. Nope. Low BE, extracting the ball well.

Will be held til the byes on my end, most likely turns into Steele in R13.

      4

      0
      1. I was also looking at keeping Rowell but can’t wait any longer to bring Gawn in. Melbs next 5 matches have some tasty points for a class ruck like him.

        2

  67. Not liking how some juicy potential cash cows are round 12 byes … Carroll- blues, Rioli- rich, Hamilton- gws
Not making it any easier- most of my defence already round 12 byes!

    2

    0
  68. TU: Daicos, NOD & J Hayes out > Parker, Cripps & G. Clark in leaves $27k ITB

TD: Daicos, Rachele & J Hayes out > Parker, Cripps & McComb in $11.4k ITB (if TD I’ll be downgrading to Clark & Carroll next week)

    3

    4
  69. TU-Luke Parker(probably cursed now with high trade ins,can pick up later but great value now)

TD-Tom Stewart(now or never, will have Completed my defence
by the time he drops in price, probably No1-2 overall)

    4

    8
  70. TU: Out – Hough and Whitfield
    In – McComb and Sicily

TD: Out – O’Driscoll and Horne Francis
    In -McComb and Brayshaw

Already have Parker, Cripps, Touk and Petracca

    2

    4
    1. Expected to play next week. Slight chance for this week but likely to wait another week.
You held him this long so another week shouldn’t matter. Will be a top forward this season.
      Hold.

  71. T/u: out: nod,rachele,jhf. In Stewart,Clark, mccomb

This would mean Clark on ground.

    Or

T/d out jhf, rachele, ward. In T Miller, mccomb, g Clark.

Interested in thoughts or alternative suggestions.
