Have lowly teams in 3/4 leagues including the default one, and a top three clash in the other. Fairly confident in all after a 2520 last weekend.
Having a few problems deciding whether to trade Buddy and Nic Nat or not. At the moment have gone Franklin –> Bartel. [other forwards are JJK, Rockliff, Cox, Roughead and Dusty Martin, with Staker as my cover], leaves me with 7 trades in the bank and still needing to make 1 final upgrade.
So the question is:
Thumbs up: Get around Franklin –> Bartel [for average increase of 18ppg]
Thumbs down: Let Franklin be, he’ll come off the rest refreshed and average 100+ for the rest of the year
And with kind thanks to you all I have the one more question, same trade situation as directly above, but should apply to other people in the same boat with Nic Nat:
Thumbs up: Trade Naitanui –> premium forward [he won’t average 100+ for the rest of the year]
Thumbs down: Hold, he’ll come good!
i have a quick question for everyone.
Is it worth the risk of leaving Vlastuin in my team for one more week and swapping Dangerfield for Pendles.
Or go with my original plan of Vlastuin to Shaw and Dangerfield to JPK

With 2 trades left, sitting 5th, projected to lose last 3 games (playing teams who average 100pts more than mine!!) and likely to drop out of the 8 AND have Buddy & Nic Nat parked on the pine (Nicholls playing better & Staker as cover)… Do I:
T/U Use them! Downgrade/Upgrade and bring in say Swanny or Stevie J (even though he is suspended)
T/D Hold them for dear life and see if results fall my way and I scrape into the 8!!

With the Dangerfield situation I currently sit in the top 4 of 3 of my leagues, but I don’t exactly have the 2nd chance locked up, many others below are waiting for the opportunity to snatch it from Cliffy FC. Would this be a valid argument for trading out Danger from my team? (T/U) Or not? (T/D) Only 5 trades remaining, really want to save them come finals time.
Also who would be a good replacement in Fwds for Buddy? I don’t have a lot in the kitty so the obvious choice in Walker is out of my reach.

With T.Mitchell at M8, 7 trades and 300K in the bank I was very pleased with my midfield this time last week and content to wait for T.Mitchell to fatten before upgrading him. Danger down has thrown a spanner in the works.
MID: Gaz, Pendles, Swan, ROK, Barlow, Cotch, Danger, T.Mitchell (Crouch, Viney – yes I held him and could not be happier to see him back!)
In my three key leagues I am in the bottom half of the eight and top four is very possible. In all leagues I play another team aiming for top four so this is a must-win week. Therefore I have decided to bring in Joelwood (not convinced Griff or Mundy will have big scores against their opposition this week but Joel looks the goods v Crows).
Now, here is where I need some help …
UP – Danger to Joelwood
DOWN – Crouch to Joelwood (leave Danger in my pocket for finals)
Comment – if I have made an oversight and could do something better.

i have 5 trades, should i trade nic-nat to Mcbean, this will give me 350k and a link with cox who is in my fwd line. Then upgrade a k.martin to a premium mid.

To say I’m in desperate straits right now would be an understatement. In my main league I’m sitting 17th with a 5-9 record, and, you guessed it, facing the top of the table. Encouragingly, sixth spot has an 8-6 record, so amazingly the top 8 is not out of reach. If I manage to get into the eight it would be akin to squeezing into an elevator before the doors slam shut.
I’ve got a second clash against a table-topping team, but in that league I sit 10-4 and fourth, so not as desperate there.
Jimmy Webster has been named in the middle, so hopefully he can give me a nice score. The E is ready if he does, with Xavier Richards (Please don’t play) ready to step in if Jimmy tonnes up.
You can stop laughing now, Supercoaches. Please.
I’ve decided to put Nic Nat on the ruck bench. Maric and Nicholls are my starting rucks, with Cox starting up forward. Nicholls has been in superb form and deserves the starting spot (I can’t loophole thanks to having Currie)
Up forward, Buddy’s been benched. Jed Lamb has the E. Again, no chance of the loophole here.
In the middle I have a plan, but whether or not it works it out will be seen later…

Also have Maric, Nic Nat, Danger and Buddy issues. I’ve around 70k and 6 trades left before this round.
I’m fairly safe in the top 4 in 4 of 5 leagues and can field a full side this week so I’m considering doing nothing for now and seeing how things pan out for these players who are injured or playing sore.
