    1. Nice score! In my 10 half reasonable leagues (you are in 2 of them) this is about 60 points in front of the next highest score.

  1. 1,846 (18 players) / J. Kelly / TBA (was 5,859)

Seems slightly below par this week, mostly due to my not getting a big captaincy score (I managed to get this one wrong twice – first I VCed Neale over Cripps, then put the C on Kelly over Lloyd). But I feel like I’m in a good position for the next two weeks, so all is certainly not lost.

    1. In your league TS. Had just shy of your score also, 1816.

Danger VC and Cripps my only shining lights worth talking about

    2. Update: as expected, I’ve slipped back a bit – now ranked 8,171.

A disappointing start to the byes given how disciplined I’ve been about planning for them, but I’m generally of the view that the net rank change across the bye rounds should be counted as a whole, rather than focussing on individual weeks, so I’m not about to panic just yet.

  2. To scared to look!

Had Brodie Smith, Clarke, Answerth and Cobert all go camping for the long weekend…

  3. lol do I really have to post mine?

    1800/J Kelly/386th (down I go)

Started last week by having 20 on the field to 17 due to injuries (Hurn and Whitfield being the key outs). Having the bare minimum of 18, I have had to endure some truly rancid scores (B Smith, Balta, Answerth, Coniglio). Plus, I’ve documented my VC/C selection struggles where both went missing in their 2nd halves of games.

  4. 1984/Cunnington/3707 still in lock-out

Will be forever salty that I didnt VC Cripps, couldn’t have seen it coming though.

Baker and Answerth scored below where I’d have liked them to and Darling continues to take me on a rollercoaster, but those deficiencies were made up for by Danger, Walsh, Cripps, Lloyd, Gawn and Cunnington.

Hoping to climb a few spots, not sure though.

  5. Posting my score to make others feel better…

    1773/Danger

Not too disappointed actually considering there was one donut and the fact that Clark, Answerth & Corbett combined for 67 points.
    Everyone else solid to excellent.
    Better weeks ahead.

Hoping to move up a bit in rank considering I’ve dropped 10k in the last 2 weeks…

  7. 1994/danger/ 304. Feel ok with score. Not sure whether will move up or down. My 10 year old son smashed out 2194 to embarrass his old man!

  8. 1914/Cunnington

Went down 494 rank spots to 2539.

Primed for next 2 weeks to be good ones though at least.

  9. 1563 / Grundy / IDK

I VC’d Neale then went Grundy instead of Gawn as captain.

Studs: T. Kelly, Cripps, Neale, Gawn, Oliver, Danger, Williams, Heeney, Hore, Lloyd.

Duds: My poor choices, Grundy, Smith, my not even planning for the byes.

What is the right amount of trades to have at this point of the season? I’ve got 19 because I’ve been fairly conservative.

Never considered Cripps for captain but wow massive effort! M.Crouch finally coming back for a 123 was handy. Now ranked 153, next week will be a massive test to hold rank.

  11. 1880 / J Kelly / down over 3 000 to 5 055

Coulda been worse. Won’t be great this week, but should go ok. Held myself back from a couple of decent R13s in T Kelly and Hurn.

Needing over 80pts/wk now, it’s time to be aggressive!

eg FT/Adam: I’m thinking the likes of Gus Brayshaw next week might just be a genius POD pick. Thought his efficiency let him down today, but he was everywhere!

    1. 3rd time over 30 disposals this season, 3rd time over 100 and attended the 4th most CBA’s for Melbourne (15) and has been used primarily on the wing this season (sure Freako mentioned on twitter couple of weeks ago about his low CBA’s).

Efficiency and TOG% below avg but his tendency to accumulate a lot of the ball will compensate for that assuming his role today continues for the remainder of the season.

For teams struggling to finish due to poor cash generation or possess low trades A Brayshaw and M Crouch will be great value selections as a possible M7 or M8 or even if lucky a M9. For those with Stack could be nearly a straight swap in RD14.

Grabbed him post byes last year when he was available as a def and was 1 of the best decisions I made. Assume most won’t like the selection and use the same silly/generic approach about finals worthy players/top premiums but he has the history and potential to avg anywhere between 100-110 for the remainder of the season and at 420,000 the saving could be utilised to upgrade a rookie occupying D6/F6, help turn ROB/Goldy into Grundy/Gawn or even establish premium cover.

    1. Thats awesome Peter. He had a mammoth score well done to him. Get him on the supercoach group (900763) so we can track his progression!

  12. Score 2145
    Rank from 4200ish to 1600ish
    I should be happy right????
    WRONG
Next week I’ll be lucky to field 16 players 5 of which will be pretty ordinary rooks.
If all goes well lucky if I get 1500 and drop ranking to 10000ish if I’m lucky.
Oh well. At least I’m having fun.
    Never been ranked so high
Thanks to people on this website.

  13. 1957/J Kelly/84

Continuing my recent fall through the rankings. Down from 71 last week. VC on Neale (curses be upon Curnow) and had six players score higher than my captain choice.
Could be looking at a donut next week so expecting my downward spiral to continue and finally bid farewell to my home of the last 8 weeks – the top 100.
    9 players over 100 and 5 below 80.
56 points down in my SCT Cup match-up v. Scumthorpe Utd as well.

  14. 1719 with three donuts…..they know who they are!!! And a brown stain from clark. Quickly worked out trading was no point but looking for big results nect two weeks.
Already seeing lots of predictions of 1200 or so for this week in my leagues.

  15. 2062/Danger/31st overall
Very happy with that result after Clarke and Answerth kicked off a couple of spud scores early. Made a late call to bring in lloyd which netted an extra 100 odd points but cost a trade to stay in the running.

  17. 1939/18/TKelly

Took the C off Max when grundy confirmed in – bit me big!
Captain TKelly was the lowest score of all my seven tons but even so I’m pretty happy as I had to trade to get the bare 18. Bonus score from Burgess but my punt on Rotham backfired, along with Clark and Answerth and the only real top end failure was Jezza. So after frantically hoping to scrap out a score of 1800, the end result is satisfying under the circumstances.

Won 5/8 leagues and dragged in a couple of thousand places.

  19. 1986/ J Kelly/ 7918 (from 9439)

22 available players so L Baker, O Baker, N Answerth and B Smith’s scores dropped with W Setterfield, T Atkins and C Burgess the only players below 80 and P Dangerfield, J Lloyd and P Cripps (new recruit) over 120.

After trades will have 19 available players with 7 rookies (C Burgess, R Young, X Duursma, R Gardner, D Clarke, W Setterfield and L Baker) for RD13.

  22. So the winner this week Georgia has scored 2347, overall rank 61,039. Any chance of this being her only entry in line with the rules? Bench of 102k rookies doesn’t suggest so…

Is there anyone you know who legitimately only plays one team with an eye to one week? Fair enough if so but this has second team written all over it.

    1. My Brother just plays for the 1K Prize in a Bye week and he is set up to attack the Round 13 Bye. Plenty of people do it by setting up another team as well in their Sons or Wife’s Name.

Went up slightly in rank,so I’m thinking that score was par.
Will need 3 trades to field 18 this week though.

  24. 2078/Cripps/19k

Finally mustered up the motivation to post after some decent weeks. O/a has gone from 48k – 37k – 27k and now up to 19k.

If some miracle I get to top 1k by season’s end I will be rapt!

  25. 2072 / Danger / up 5278 places to 9963.

Finally starting to make up some of the lost ground over the last few weeks.

I seem to be pretty set up for the Byes as I should have 19/20 playing over the next two weeks , Thats if Rocky gets up.

I have a feeling anything over 1800 this coming week will be a great score.

  26. 1997/J.Kelly/1778

Continuing to climb ranks weekly happy to be finally into the top 2k considering i was cooked early on in the 40ks. Premos went big this week pretty happy with the score.

    Studs:
    Lloyd
    Cripps
    M.Crouch
    Oliver
    Walshyyyyyyyyy
    Gawn
    T.Kelly
    Danger

    Duds:
B.Smith (Needs 80+ otherwise gawn next week)
    Answerth
    Balta
    Cameron

Trades this week are Atkins to Naish via Duursma, Balta to Dunks leaving me with full premo fwd & Defence with Walsh and Duursma occupying the last midfield spots. May also trade answerth if i can’t get 18 on the park.
