      1. its hard to go past the double downgrade of Rankine and Simpson but part of me wants to use the 250K I have in the bank as well
        offloading Starc and Townsend for now

        1. Maybe double down this week and double upgrade next week to premos? I think the rookies this week are too good to ignore

  2. 2037/Gawn/ awaiting for round results

    Was a weird round, my hawks bias let me down this week with ceglar and wingard being very disappointing.

    -3s starcevich, Steele who I brought in this week and the obvious doc and Cripps
    +3 Doedee delivers along with Viney sicdog, whitfield rewarded my trade this week and sympkin delivered this week

    Overall a bit of an up and down week, just hoping Cripps will get up next week so I can downgrade some rookies and there is some sexy cash cows this week

    1. Have to agree, think 2000-2100 will be a decent enough score this week. On a positive note there wasn’t as much injury carnage this week

  3. 1951/Neale

    With a donut and considering how my season has been – this is something to be happy about considering the scores this week.

    Ridley has been a great inclusion.

    Wish I stuck with Houston and Brayshaw.

    1. trading out Houston and brayshaw the week before they both ton up twice in a row has not been amusing

        Looking as if double downgrade this week rankine is a definite. Just waiting on injury report Narkle Duncan.? Simpson looks promising.

        60k in the bank.

    Back to reality this week after hitting top 300 last week. Only 8 tonnes for the round, then having Duncan, Dusty, Cripps, Doc, Devon and Weller for premos under 70.
    Also have to include Starcevich and Taylor, with Aarts not doing much better but still would have outscored Taylor if fielded.

  6. 1910 with Neale captain.

    I thought with that score I was going to drop out of the top 1000, but only went from 79th to 350th.

    Could’ve been much better if I fielded Rankine over Aarts. Oh well

    Surprised I gained 1500 odd spots. Copped poor scores from Taylor, Dev Smith, Cripps and Doch like most, but Berry’s 21 and J. Kelly’s 92 stung. Backing in C Gawn over VC Neale seemed to keep me alive.

    Double downgrade seems to be where it’s at, but I’m very tempted to press the attack and bring Bailey Smith in this week. Might be able to get away with passing up on Day and Simpson considering I’ve got Pittonet sitting at R3? Conversely, my MID cows have dried up with McInerney and Brown dropped and Hayden, Budarick and Pickett all potentially on the chopping block this week. Very conflicted.

    Won’t put much thought into trades knowing Thursday night will invariably f*ck us all up lol.

  8. 1966 / Neale

    6 players under 50 & not happy with 2 weeks in a row under 2000, but remarkably went up 606 places in rankings. Was looking at trading in either Duncan or Shiel this round so glad I went with Ridley instead. Looking forward to culling some rookies next week but 2 trades won’t even begin to cover it. Lost 5/10 leagues, but 4 of those by 22 points or less.

    I am astonished I actually went up the rankings with this score. Back under 1000 so I was lucky.
    Guns: Danger, Sicily, Neale, Macrae, B Smith, Gawn, Viney.
    Spuds: Ceglar, Wingard, Butler, D Smith, Cripps, Doch and the rookies.
    Double downgrade for me this round : Starcevich and Ceglar have to go probably For Day and Simpson at this point depending on JS.

  11. Score = 2085 (only 21 players on field thanks to Sturt being late out)
    Gawn C
    Rank = 3358
    Won 9/9 Leagues… Cash League win by 3 points !

  12. Managed to scratch out 2007 with the common suspects having stinkers, so with wingards’s bad stain (again!!) added to that, reasonably happy. Gawn c and ranked 7506 after now recovering most of the r3 disaster…those lost 500 pts would be handy. Won my $100 per head cash league by 4 pts…it was a stressful Sunday night !!

  13. 2024 / Neale / 581 (+71)

    I didn’t think 2024 would help me climb the rankings this week.

    Let down by Doch, Duncan, Starc, Cripps and Taylor.

    Glad to see Macrae go big, otherwise the inclusion of Ridley and Mitchell paid off.

    Looks like double downgrade is the vibe this week!

  14. 2087/Gawn/18300 ish

    Finally getting my season going after a horror start with injury & poor performances. Was as low as 60000 after round two so happy to begin the climb, still hoping for a finish in the top 1%.

    Double downgrade like most, quick question how many trades does everyone have left I’ve got 16 after two this week.

  15. 1878 / Neale / 4093

    1/3 in my leagues

    That round was brutal.

    Doch, Williamson, Parker, Dunca, Cripps, Wingard, Dusty, Dev Smith, Taylor all waaaaaay under what i wanted from them.

    In particular super low scores from POD mids Duncan and Parker were costly.

    Rankine and Simpson look the obvious trade in targets to keep the cash flowing. I will eagerly wait on news of how long Duncan’s expected to be out for and also the BE’s of the rookies.

  16. 2023 / Neale / one donut + Mitch Duncan / $208,300 handy

    Tempted by Double Downgrade but have $208,300 sitting handy…

    Budarick -> Rankine
    Starcevich -> Haynes

    Or Pittonet -> Cheapest available ruck/fwd
    Pittonet on the pine with Gawn and English rucking and is at risk of starting to lose money

    Thoughts?
