If you, like me, have got a crisis down back with the gut wrenching, season ending injury to Jarrad Waite on the weekend here are your options. As always, I’ll give you three different priced options:
- Josh Drummond ($557,900, 115.00)
- Paddy Ryder ($414,200, 89.44)
- Nathan Grima ($94,200, 65.00)
I won’t go into why you should be picking these guys. I reckon you’ll do your own research before using up 5% of your annual trades picking them up. I’m just pointing your head in their direction. Of course, you can also have a look at any of the other bombers I’ve recommended over the last few weeks. Particularly Grimes, Bower, Goddard, and Gilbee.
The fellas I won’t be touching (and there’s a common theme this week – I think they’re all done. Stick a fork in ‘em):
- Andrew McLeod ($357,800, 69.78)
- Brett Guerra ($352,700, 70.43)
- Nick Malceski ($317,300, 63.50)

I got smashed in my backline this week. Scotland a non starter and Cheney going missing meant without an emergency I went down by 17 points. Heart breaking. With Scotland in and out of the team like Peter North treats any young lass with fake titties I may have to trade him. Plenty of coin in the bank though so I can have my pick of the comp. Damn that Petrenko donkey on my bench. I nearly traded him this week to fill a hole if needs be and I decided against it. Would have been the difference in the end. I wont make the same mistake again.

I have more of an issue down the front, more on that later.
I had Guerra and Malceski, neither did anything for me and both have been cut from TMD’s.
As for my problem down the front, i will trade Higgins this week, i have 300k in the bank so those 2 factors considered i will be able to buy a ripper or get a Mott’s Mover ….. will be keen to see what you think later in the week mate.
