Will Minson ($334,200, 121, 105.67, 16) – Big Bad Bustling Wilbur snaffled 4 sausage rolls on the weekend. I’m no footy historian but that has got to be his best return ever, wouldn’t it? Named him as a Driller last week and he responds by going out and scoring 121 and going up by $47k. That kind of price rise is Barlow-esque. Goor for you, Wilbur! Have I mentioned I bought his Dad’s old car?
Todd Goldstein ($440,200, 158, 106.83, 64) – Sure he was jumping over whoever the tallest bloke is in the Casey Scorpions all day but his hitout figures weren’t higher than what he’s been scoring all year. It was the 2 goals, 7 free kicks and 14 kicks (double his usual per game amount) that got him to 158 on the weekend.
Honourable mentions: Sandi, Massive, Ottens – same ‘ol same ‘ol.
There haven’t been any sustained poor efforts by Rucks but Kurt Tippett and Drew Petrie wouldn’t want to go another week scoring around the 45 mark.
Zac Smith ($293,200, 92, 82.29, -8) – How good is this guy gonna be? And how good has he been as a cash cow for you all year? He’s got the bye this week but with a -8 BE he’s going to go up truckloads again after his game against the Cats in R10.
Nic Naitanui ($347,800, 105, 84.67, 1) – Stood up to Sandi in the derby and came off looking pretty darn good. With a 1 BE he’s gonna shoot up this week.
Special mentions: Sauce Jacobs, Matthew Leuenberger, Tyrone Vickery, and Cameron Wood.
