Happy with your captain choice? The boys are smashing it and you want to tell someone? Need to give someone a serve?
Here’s where you do it.

Feels strange to be putting ‘GAJ’ for captain after so long without him.
Pendlebury did the job tonight, and very happy that Swan’s 39 touches only produced 127

Skating on thin ice relying on Dids and Jolly for your points come finals Motts. At least you are man enough not to fall for the soft Daisy option though!

I admit Jolly was a calculated gamble but have no problems wth Dids in my forward line.

Motts is on solid footing with both Didak & Jolly. Didak is a proven SC scorer and Jolly is getting better and better every week and will offer value for his coaches.
As for Daisy, I am a little amused that you regard a bloke who averages 95 a week and, -besides a 68 & a 70- has scored between 82-133 every other week as being a soft option. I would’ve thought those numbers to be quite satisfactory, and think that 460k is quite cheap for such a player. He might end up being a nice unique choice come finals time.

I’m the same as MJ – first time with the little master and my cash league opponent had Swannie which must be infuriating although that’s the difference between 60% and 80% effeciency rate of Pendles.

Gotta be impressed by Blair’s second game (102). I really need a decent midfielder whose gonna play each week since Ziebell went down. Maybe the B.C. folk on this site can share their thoughts on him.

Blair is potentially one for the future. He loves getting into the pack, can tackle and use it well. Has done well in the 2′s last year and this and may struggle to hold his spot once we welcome back Sidebottom, Davis & Dick, although, Malthouse has a tendency to persist with a kid who plays well.
The sad thing for me is that his selection is probably the final nail in Shane O’Bree’s career @ Collingwood.

70/1/NDS, Playn against Sheeds this week and in Today’s paper he said he was bringing in Joey for Barlow, but surprise surprise Gibbs is in, then he said Stevie Jay becomes Adam Schneider, wrong Dids was his replacement for SJ, what a lying piece of you know what.

Yeah pretty crappy in Mids, but what’s the point in having a write up in a leading paper if the information given is utter bullshit, he should be sacked for misleading people.

Happy with my new recruit Jolly. He’s going to score 100s each week and will prove a very astute and reasonably unique buy (i’m with you Motts)
Not impressed that Swanny’s 39 touches only yielded 127. He was clearly best afield but was out scored by Rodan who was about 3rd or 4th best on for me.
Fields weird not having GAJ as C or VC.

Marvellous victory to the Pies that will hold us in good stead for our future endeavours. Glad to see Port try hard for Choco in his last game. Didak, Swan & Pendlebury spanking out fabulous ton’s. Great Start. Hopefully my Doggie & Swan boys don’t spud it up for me.
Just noticed that my eliminator opponent has bought in Boyd to replace Barlow, whilst I am relying on Lewis Stevenson. I am grateful that Woosha picked him and hope that he can compile 60 odd and, that I can scramble my way to victory.

Random thoughts:
Nic Natanui rates for me as the most over-rated player of 2010. How can a follower score so poorly so consistently? Get a hair cut mate.
Beau Waters was making me happy with 75 points at half time – ends up with 70 points after doing a hammy. Beau-ty beau.
Riewoldt in Goddard out – saints must have a cap on number of premium players in any one game.

Initial is that it is at worst a grade 1-2 tear, however the worst case scenario prognosis is that its related to his back tightness (ala Gray) which could be a terrible outcome for SC coaches who have him given he’ll most likely be put out to pasture.

Will be a blow for SC coaches if he’s ruled out as he’s been the revelation most thought. I didn’t get him as I thought Woosha would play him up forward to apply maximum pressure and play Nikoski/Jones/Sheppard in the back rebounding role.
I still think we would have been more balanced if that had been the case as this is an area we struggle in however who am I to question the Man.

Yeah touche – I’m resigned to the fact we won’t win again this year and therefore accept our first WS however at least there were some good signs from the young blokes today playing with spirit.
I really wish your guys well Mike as I have many mates who are long suffering Tiger fans and have seen first hand the manic affect the rollercoaster has had on them. I think you’ve done well in the coaching merry-go-round by getting Hardwick.

Thanks mate. And trust me, as one of those “long-sufferers”, a few of spirited wins means nothing in the long run – been there far too many times before. ‘Good signs for the future’ are just that, nothing more.

Not worried with the doubts on the Eski as have Webberley covering with a 79. Amazing round for me with the rookie types in Henderson, Connors, Rockliff all scoring big tons and Webbs showing some commendable composure. Am very lucky given Hurn, Brown and Gray are kissing the pine.

1042/11/GAJ Ablett lets us all down again. At least my opponent had him as captain as well. No cover on the bench in the mids, so had two fwd emergencys, which means I cop Silvagnis 79 instead of Hendersons 136. Spewin! Hopefully Carrazzo or Gilbee will be a late withdrawal and I’ll take the 136!

League #1 – Will win

Don’t want to think what would have been had I pulled the trigger on Joey rather than GAJ for Barlow (I’m sure you’ll help PA.)
Won all 3 leagues, got 7/8 which should elevate me to the lead in the local pub’s $2K tipping comp. and gave Carro a seeing to in DT which will have me on top of Motts on the ladder.
No injury probs and will hopefully get Gray, Hurn and Brown back next week although they’ll have to do extra well on the track to get a game in front of Henderson and Stevens.

Lost in 2 out of 3 leagues, one by a 100 pts so if pulled the trigger on the Barlow trade I would’ve won one other game. That plus having Roberton instead of Webberly as emergency cost me dearly in the tough league where I’ve dropped to 4th. Still undefeated in the other league.

Crappy Week, everyone let me down. Important game for my league match and I only lost by 38, he had a bad week too. 1945 in the end, didn’t see that Fyfe was out, copped a zero for that blunder.
Dissapointments include Enright, NicNat, ROK, Betts, Gia, Pods and Byrnes. All these guys scored really poorly.
SHout outs to Henderson and Webberly for stepping up, as well as new recruit Jolly. Can’t forget Goodes either.
