I admit Jolly was a calculated gamble but have no problems wth Dids in my forward line.

Motts is on solid footing with both Didak & Jolly. Didak is a proven SC scorer and Jolly is getting better and better every week and will offer value for his coaches.
As for Daisy, I am a little amused that you regard a bloke who averages 95 a week and, -besides a 68 & a 70- has scored between 82-133 every other week as being a soft option. I would’ve thought those numbers to be quite satisfactory, and think that 460k is quite cheap for such a player. He might end up being a nice unique choice come finals time.

I’m the same as MJ – first time with the little master and my cash league opponent had Swannie which must be infuriating although that’s the difference between 60% and 80% effeciency rate of Pendles.

Blair is potentially one for the future. He loves getting into the pack, can tackle and use it well. Has done well in the 2′s last year and this and may struggle to hold his spot once we welcome back Sidebottom, Davis & Dick, although, Malthouse has a tendency to persist with a kid who plays well.
The sad thing for me is that his selection is probably the final nail in Shane O’Bree’s career @ Collingwood.

Not impressed that Swanny’s 39 touches only yielded 127. He was clearly best afield but was out scored by Rodan who was about 3rd or 4th best on for me.

Initial is that it is at worst a grade 1-2 tear, however the worst case scenario prognosis is that its related to his back tightness (ala Gray) which could be a terrible outcome for SC coaches who have him given he’ll most likely be put out to pasture.

Will be a blow for SC coaches if he’s ruled out as he’s been the revelation most thought. I didn’t get him as I thought Woosha would play him up forward to apply maximum pressure and play Nikoski/Jones/Sheppard in the back rebounding role.
I still think we would have been more balanced if that had been the case as this is an area we struggle in however who am I to question the Man.

Yeah touche – I’m resigned to the fact we won’t win again this year and therefore accept our first WS however at least there were some good signs from the young blokes today playing with spirit.

Won all 3 leagues, got 7/8 which should elevate me to the lead in the local pub’s $2K tipping comp. and gave Carro a seeing to in DT which will have me on top of Motts on the ladder.
No injury probs and will hopefully get Gray, Hurn and Brown back next week although they’ll have to do extra well on the track to get a game in front of Henderson and Stevens.

Lost in 2 out of 3 leagues, one by a 100 pts so if pulled the trigger on the Barlow trade I would’ve won one other game. That plus having Roberton instead of Webberly as emergency cost me dearly in the tough league where I’ve dropped to 4th. Still undefeated in the other league.

Crappy Week, everyone let me down. Important game for my league match and I only lost by 38, he had a bad week too. 1945 in the end, didn’t see that Fyfe was out, copped a zero for that blunder.
Dissapointments include Enright, NicNat, ROK, Betts, Gia, Pods and Byrnes. All these guys scored really poorly.
SHout outs to Henderson and Webberly for stepping up, as well as new recruit Jolly. Can’t forget Goodes either.
