Before I get into the footy, I will mention that I have a mate who’s horse is getting around at Bendigo today in R6 that he’s reasonably warm on. Its called Gemset and I’ve thrown $5 each way on it. This is after another mate’s horse, Zazzparella, got up at Sandown yesterday paying $8.50/$2.60. Handy.
Onto the footy. I’m going to open up with a 4 leg multi this week and then pending that I’ll look at another one. Here’s what I’m liking:
Hawthorn -19.5 ($1.91) into
Carlton -14.5 ($1.91) into
North to lead at the end of every quarter ($1.35)
Collingwood first goal of match ($1.37)
TOTAL: $6.75
Threw $10 at it but given my luck on the footy lately I’m not confident.

not liking the first 2 legs of that multi, essendon vs hawthorn will be closer than 19 points i believe, and gold coast vs carlton will be a great game. I think the adelaide +line whatever that is would be good value because i believe fremantle have dropped off a tad. I also like the brisbane +line especially if the lions get a few men back.
Hawks, Freo, Power, Sydney and Suns (2nd upset in a row at Metricon). Combi odds around $7. Thoughts?
My top five SC head to heads:
Hodge over Lewis – Hodge plays well against the Dons and will put on a good show tonight
Kreuzer over Judd – Judd has been quiet lately, and Kreuzer has been scoring very well. Last three avg of Kreuzer is 127 vs Judd 105
Simpson over McLean – McLean just doesn’t seem to be scoring well this year. Last three avg of Simpson is 103 vs 84 for McLean.
Boak over Cornes – Cornes will probably tag someone. And last time they played Bris, Boak scored 134 vs Cornes 105
Ebert over Wingard – Ebert is much more consistent than Wingard. Last time they played Bris, Ebert scored 145 vs 87 for Wingard.
$57 win on that multi. Hope I wasn’t the only one on it.
