Put a 3 leg multi on this week – before discovering the Box Hill Hawks were travelling North. Here it is:

The Hawks have since come in to -40.5 for the same odds.
I’m tempted to throw a few US Open bets on but think I’ll wait til next week when the odds get a little better.

Any POD suggestions for this week’s tipping? I’m one point off the lead and sitting in 4th (3 ahead of me are 1 point ahead) on our footy tipping which ends this week. I will most likely pass them all on margin if I can get ahead. Love to hear thoughts…… Saints? Tigers?

Like your style Motts. Over here there has been so much hype about playing at Adelaide Oval, some people calling it a grand final, because if they win and GC lose, well then they avoid the wooden spoon. Been a good week on track and expect them to have a red hot dip for Brogan’s farewell game.
On the gg’s – Lights Of Heaven should bolt in, but odds will be short. Will be watching with great interest Melbourne Cup runner-up Maluckyday who goes round in the same race. Are the spring racing carnival – love it.

The only problem with last round betting is just how often the teams at the bottom of the ladder decide to have a “last hurrah” and upset teams who have one eye on the next week. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if GC push Hawthorn harder than they are expected to.
