actually just had a quick look, i just scraped into the 8 in 4 of the 5 leagues im in.. LOL, 2 of them i was only half a game out.
what a lucky week, hopefully my luck continues into the finals.

2515/GAJ+1 Donut
After looking like winning just 3/5 (thanks to none of pfeiffer, buddy and hall playing), pulled out a miracle 10 pt win in one league and a 90 pt win in another thanks to many of his adelaide premos failing to fire, giving me 5/5 league wins. My four players, GAJ (c), Big Mummy, Watson and Dempsey, today all smashed it, especially Dempsey who won me 2 games
Oh and I also had a 1342 pt win to sneak back into top 4 in one league

Won all 3 Leagues, waiting on final standings but I think I missed out on top 4 in one league by a whisker of percentage. Put Shuey on instead of Dal Santo – after I’d talked up Shuey’s chances of stinking it up.

Top 4 in 3 leagues, slipped out of the 8 in 2, so some mixed feelings this week. Had to carry Porps and Ellis’ scores, and also very disappointed with Suckling and Birchall.
Oh and shout outs to Shane Crawford who scored a massive 2600!

Not bad but only good enough to get me three wins from five.
Should be really angry at Porpoise but the fact that he got through the last seven games and only missed two for the year means he was well overdue to go pop.
Had another seven players (Birchall, Mitchell, Rance, Carrazzo, Heppell, NicNat & Martin) all score less than my three emergencies as well. Not that selection made a difference but poor effort from that bunch.
Jobe, Duckwood, Dangermouse, Beams, Lids, Godd & GAJ all represented to get my a good score and I think my favorite score was Goodes’ 116 getting himself back in form just in time for finals.

Playing Ellis over Spurr was not the best move, only players to go large were Lids, Goddard, Ablett, J Selwood, Tomahawk , Pendles , Danger and Goodes
Will trade Ellis for Scotland next week and Porp to Sideass

mine: 2553- one donut. Only going to make one set of finals with this team, my work league, ranked about 7th or thereabouts. My team is coming good only now so art is imitating life for my SAINTSATIONS, because we’ve left our run too late.
SCTTL: 2544- Porplezia the only let down. Romped it home, was expecting around 2200, no idea it would be this close between the two. Beat HGL by a mere 19 points to retain top spot on the SCTTL2 ladder (albeit not the total points one). Good game HGL- if Stanton had played you would have easily beaten me, or Treloar over Mitchell or Nicky Roo. Very lucky to have snatched this one. Will go into the three leagues placed 1st, 2nd and 2nd if I’ve done my cancaulations right.

Let down by my defence. Lake, H Shaw, Carazzo and Scotland all went low.
Big decision next week may be whether i play Sam Shaw over Brian Lake. Definite possiblity.
With a double chance in LoEC amd strong 5th spot in my other primary league i’m going to try and avoid using up the last three trades for another week.
Already looking forward to Essendon vs North next Sunday twilight!!!!

Needed a win and 2 of 3 other games to fall my way to make the four. Lost (to a strong team that didn’t make the eight) and had one of the games go my way, so ran 6th. If I put the other teams in the eight into three groups (1=scary, 2=tough, 3=easy) I’m looking at 3-2-1-1 between me and the title.
I’m ranked 6th, I’m probably the 6th best team in the finals, so we’ll see how we go.

top 4 in all 5 leagues. was a very good scoring weekend for my team! along with the zero had tippet and franklin sitting on the bench and had to play smedts and patton and neither were very good so that leaves me wondering what could have been. 15 guys scored tons, and had a few big ones in giles, pav, gaz, watson, deledio and dempsey all at 140+ so was good to see.

2373 / GAJ. Conservative selection (Hale as Ruck Emerg. etc) did not pay off but still won 4 out of 5 league games & secured top 4 in 4 of 5 so absolutely stoked. After losing initial 3 games, chuffed to get a lucky 3rd spot in LoEC1. Speaking of which league up to 56th overall, top 30 not far away!
Great afternoon taking my nephew from Broken Hill for his first AFL game. He loved Taylor Walker kicking a few (poor lad!). Scotty Thompson did not look like he was into the game. Was surprised with Sam Shaw’s high SC score – however the lad has a great footy brain. Another week to go (until last 3 walk over games), but from what i saw today Stiffy Johncock could be a good downgrade swop for misfiring defenders – got a feeling he will go big in at least one of them.

Don’t know how I got away with a win in LoEC1 against BS after being only 100 infront with Watson, Thompson & Porplyzia to play the second half at AAMI for BS. Didn’t scrape me into the 8 though, finishing 10th (2 points behind 8th, and 5th in overall points). Secured a top 4 spot in my three other leagues.
