Fyfe has been mooted as a rough chance this Friday night but personally, I’m jumping off him – with a 193 breakeven he’s going to lose more value this week and even if Freo trust his bung shoulder, I don’t.
So that has me looking around for solid M/F DPP replacements and with Adam Goodes likely to miss this week my gaze has fallen upon a couple of blokes who are destined for big things this year.
Dangers has had an easier run of things to date having played Gold Coast, The Dogs and Hawthorn but in the next 3 weeks slides into GWS, Port Adelaide and Sydney.
Sidey’s done it tougher against Hawthorn, Richmond and Carlton but will be easing himself into Port Adelaide, Essendon and The Dogs over the next 3 weeks. And with Luke Ball’s season ending knee injury his chances for more on-ball time have improved.
If you had to take one of these fellas, which one would you choose?

I have DangerDanger so I would go Sidebum. But still not sure about him over choosing a premium.

Because as the season goes on and downgrade stephenson and upgrade redden and roughead goes to R2 with mumford at R1 and Giles at R3 and they cover themselves in the bye rounds and an estimate of $460k extra in the bank by round 8 which will then let me upgrade a few rooks to premos

If I had to trade Fyfe I’d look at Harvey for sure. Usually a walk up start in my side but decided to give Dustin Martin first crack this season instead.
I’d have a crack at Jordan Lewis in form or Sidebottom for the sake of the poll but Boomer for mine if the trade needed to be made this week.

But question for me is do I trade Golby for Carrazo this week as well, or trade in Treloar next week (for Golby), wait another week and then directly upgrade maybe Bradbert to Murphy and a magner/JMac to Pendles? I’ll have ~$530k in the bank after the Sidebum and Golby trades.

Seriously starting to consider Kennedy from the Swans to replace Fyfe. $552,100, Ave 130, BE 83. Means losing my MPP from the mids, but that’s OK. Also factored in his round 12 bye which will suit my midfield quite nicely.

In general you’d say Danger has a more SC oriented game than Sidebum (who has done really well in DT for a while now – and can often get lowish SC scores even when he racks up the possessions). Adelaide also have an easier draw. Having said that Sidebottom is a very good player … I just think he won’t get much more midfield time, they will just rotate Beams (as his match fitness increases) and Dale Thomas through there more – and Didak when he gets back into the senior team.
