It would probably mean both. He would probably get maybe 10 less possies (-60 points) and 2-3 more goals depending on delivery into the forward line (16-24 points). If this happens the the little masters average will drop by 30-40 points per game. That being said, if GC could put the ball into the forward line 40 times per game, Gaz would kick 10 with his eyes shut.
Here is a thought….IF this does happen then will Gaz be a DPP Mid/Fwd next year???

they probably want to keep him until he is mid 30′s+ so playing the next 3 or 4 yrs in the midfield getting smashed and scragged around will not help prolong his career.
i reckon the bigger their kids get and the more experience they gain the more you will see ablett play a forward role.
he could kick 4 or 5 a game playing up there giv’n the right delivery etc

Didnt say he was the best person of the past 20 years! Average human being. But……was a major force in winning North two flags. Biggest game changer since Gaz Snr. The Cats kept winning without GAz Jnr. He didnt make that much difference after all. If you could put EITHER in your team today……you’re kidding yourself if you picked GAJ. Cotchin for mine, seems to use the ball exceptionally well & if he stays injury free, could become one of the most elite midfielder’s in the competition!
