Sunday Arvo Games R15, 2013

Written by MJ on July 7 2013

Melbourne V Sydney (MCG) – How will Melbourne back up their win against the Dogs last week? Are they starting to click under Neil Craig? Or will we see a return back to their usual form? The Swans will be hoping it’s the latter, but should be way too strong for the Dees nonetheless. Who’s pinning their hopes on JPK for the C in Ablett’s absence? Looks like Tom Mitchell will get a run on field for a lot of sides as well this week. It’ll be interesting to see how the young lad goes.

Fremantle V St.Kilda (PS) – How telling will no Nick Riewoldt be for the Saints? Freo have a whole host of stars back for this one: Pavlich, Sandilands, Mundy, Barlow are some of the best INs you’ll ever see. No Duffield will hurt a few coaches though. Also, good to see Lenny Hayes back after a bit over a month on the sidelines.

Essendon V Port Adelaide (ES) – The final game of the round. Both sides have won their last 3 games. Should be a good game this one. Assuming Sydney and Freo win, the Bombers will be fighting to get back into the top 4. Port will be hoping they can regain 7th spot over Collingwood. Match of the day you would think.

Let us know who you are relying on to get a few wins in your leagues?

  1. Decided to bench Hartless for Staker’s score

Just need JPK to put out a decent score to cover for my mistakes this week.

  5. We may not win the game against an almost if not full strength Freo side over in Perth, without our big name forwards but gee I’m very happy with the pressure we’re putting on.

  19. Seriously disappointed on St Kilda’s second half effort… it’s basic things too which is frustrating to watch, half the side are kicking it straight to Fremantle players, honestly it is really frustrating to watch but seeing as we have more then 100 less disposals not a bad effort. It’s going to be a long few years…

    Around 100 less disposals
    Around 50 less marks
    Much worse kicking efficiency.
    10 less scoring shots

30 point loss, I think they’ll take that, we probably should’ve lost by a lot more.

  20. SCT Cash league all coming down to me with 42 + Ibbotson VS Mundy.

    Final siren – Ibbotson 75 Mundy 114

Half a minute after the final siren – Ibbotson 75 Mundy 118

Don’t think adjustments will help me too much either.
