Where and when: GABBA, Saturday 1st May at 7:25pm (AEST)
Last time they met: Rd 5, 2020: Brisbane 12.13 (85) def Port Adelaide 6.12 (48) at the GABBA.
This was a simple case of taking your chances. Port dominated the first quarter and kicked 1 goal and 6 behinds, then Brisbane dominated the second quarter and kicked 6 goals.
And that was pretty much the game.
For Brisbane, Neale, Lyons and McCluggage were best and for Port Boak, Butters and Houston were best. Given three of those players are missing this clash, it’s a little difficult to pick a winner!
Match Preview: Before Round 1, you can be sure both coaches circled this match as an important one! Port has started the season well and a win here leaves them comfortably ensconced in the top 4; Brisbane’s start to the season has been rocky but winning tonight keeps them in the top 8.
With injuries to keep personnel (Boak, Neale, Butters), the team with the best depth should win this.

When do we find out medical sub?
Will be announced soon by clubs and posted here by CT or myself.
It’s Sam Mayes for Port, still waiting on the Lions announcement (which is the important one of course)
Brisbane sub looks like Tom Berry
Chaos tonight.
AFL have still not posted full teams and no medical subs.
I have posted the teams.
NO LATE CHANGES
SUBSTITUTES
Brisbane: Thomas Berry
Port Adelaide: Sam Mayes
yep, typical poor form on behalf of the AFL … as no teams posted for tomorrow, it hasn’t updated on the official SC site either …
Want to take Grundys score. I have highmore on the bench as emergency as well as Tom Stewart as emergency. If I put the captain on Lachie Jones from port it will double grundys score as vice captain??
Thanks in advance
Sharp’s captaincy percentage just skyrocketed
Red circle- Not selected. Including as emergency
What the hell is zorko doing ? I’m not watching but 6 at QT?! Only bought him in an hour ago. Single playing any midfield?
Sam Mayes comes on for Ryan Burton (ribs).

Still 81 points to be allocated
I think it might be 381 points to be allocated – Andrews is scoring big here
Scaling was kind to the Berg.
oops – yeah you were spot on there Chillo … definitely was 381 … i stupidly had 3000 in my mind … not 3300 … and I was too caught up watching what was going on in the Swannies – Cats game!

looks like they threw points at players across the board …
Andrews up 6
Lyons up 12
Mccluggae up 14
Bergman up 25?
yeah – he kicked a goal in the last minute or so from outside 50 … big boot … I didn’t think his score had changed at all … had swapped over to watch the end of the Cats – Swannies match …
