  1. Sitting on 500k after culling Pittonet, and the plan was to upgrade a dead rookie at D7 to Ridley and push Starcevich down from D6 to D7. Now I’m thinking should I instead upgrade a dead MID rookie and bring in Treloar?

T.U: Treloar, he has a higher ceiling.

T.D: Ridley, get Starc off your field.

Secondary issue, is 628k too much to pay for Treloar?

          1. Moonshine Sam, your not alone when i see people when upgrading players with still $100,000 left, hahahaha

    1. Same ‘boat’ as you GD, NEED to get Starc off the field (already have Ridley so cashing in on Egg as D6 for the moment). I think Treloar is very tempting, but we have cash so can afford him regardless in the future. I also think that once someone like Parker’s price settles down, same scoring potential and ceiling, but much cheaper.

  2. 1st trade is NicNat > Gawn.
    Second is either

    TU – Starc > Lloyd (Pickett & Simspon M7 & M8)
TD – T.Brown > B.Smith (Picket or Simpson M8 but have to play Starc in D6)

  3. First trade is done, King -> Smith
But can’t decide on the 2nd. I’m $400 short of doing McInerny -> Coniglio so:
    TU: Starc -> Coniglio
    TD: McInerny -> Viney
Comment: Any other options like Yeo

  4. And I need a sub 128K rookie, any position.
Is it just a choice between:
    TU: Minchington
    TD: Frederick
    Am I missing anybody?

  5. I have a conundrum. Petracca or greenwood. Aforementioned already, supposedly had his bye. If I take greenwood that means I will have him and rankin in fwd line and both yet to have a bye….

    Tu petracca
    Td greenwood

    1. Same question for me, cant split these 2.. I feel Taylor has been the better player and seems to be the more consistent of the two. On the other hand King is going to go big sooner or later and it will most likely be this week after I move him out. Goodluck.

  6. My whole teams a train wreck
Any Must have rookies this week guys?
I have brander and McInerney to move on I think…

Pittonet also to move on . Gawn too expensive leaning toward english…

My experiment with ceglar failed so he has to be moved on also thinking petracca or bailey Smith for value?

    1. Simpson (Geelong/Mid), Rankine (Gold Coast/Fwd) and Will Day (Hawks/Def) are some of the more popular ones. English a good shout coming off his last game amd Pitt has Goldy this week so don’t see him putting up much if you need additonal motivation.

      1. Got Simpson and Rankine missed day’s first price rise so I’ll pass on him. Hoping a few good options on the bubble…

  7. Rozee has been named but reports are he didn’t train today. Take the risk on him playing whilst hindered or move him on and have faith in the rookie for another week.

    T/U Rozee > Bailey Smith
    T/D C.Taylor > Bailey Smith

  9. Who do we think is going to increase in price more this week. I have the money to get either and can switch a DPP, i’ll do the other next week.

TU: Treloar this week. B Smith next week
TD: B. Smith this week. Treloar next week

    Treloar BE = 94, Smith BE = 47

  10. Stuck on whether to trade out Brander to Ben McKay priced at 149k, so I have a player covering on the backline. Gain less money.
I could also trade out King to Minchington so I have a lot more money available and I have a full playing Fwd line with Georgiades now named to play.

    TU: Cover the backline
    TD: Gain money Fwd line

  11. I have an M8 choice between Simpson, Pickett and Buderick, tempted to put the E on Buderick in case Simpkin is a late out, gives me the choice of Simpson, but then Pickett misses out. Delimma!! Help!

    1

    0
    1. Sorted, Simpson on Field, E on Pickett and if Simpkin is a late out I’m covered with Pickett’s score, if Simpkin is in and Pickett shoots the lights out again then I can change Simpson with T. North which still leaves the option of a double E if Simpkin is out.

  12. Who will score better this week and should be fielded?

    TU – King
    TD – Georgiades
    Comment – Aarts

  13. Please correct me If YOU think that MY thinking is skew wiff !!

Cripps to Petracca (via D Smith)

I know Cpt Fantastic is just that, but ! …. from what I saw of his injured shoulder & given the quick turn around in games to come, I don’t think pain killers are going to cut it. …He’s been carrying his team for so long its starting to take its toll & Now they are up & running , he just could get a rest !??.
    Thoughts anyone ?

    12
    1. You’re right, Cripps doesn’t look himself but he’s already lost the cash he will lose, so you’re just locking in your loss if you trade him out. There will likely be another fallen premium that you can swap him to closer to the byes if he does get rested.

  14. A bit worried about Sam Mayes from Port’s JS, anyone have any idea – worried he will be tossed out after a single poor game.

    TU – McInerney > Mayes
TD – McInerney > McPherson (via Rivers def switch)

    7

    7
  15. Brander?
TU Trade as he doesn’t look like getting a game anytime soon.
TD Keep as he will get a game soon.

    15

  16. I know sideways trades are a no no, but…..

    OUT: Neale & Pittonet
    IN: Gawn and B. Smith

    Rationale:
    – Gawn looks a must have (even at his high price tag that looks to increase further)
    – Bye structure is favourable to Gawn (no bye scheduled)
    – Pittonet has served his purpose in generating decent scores and therefor $ up until his 30 odd on the weekend.
    – If I don’t trade Pitto out now he’ll definitely be gone when his bye arrives in a couple of weeks, however the differential between he and Max will have Gawn up.
    – Neale has peaked price-wise, I’d only drop him to pick him up in 3 or so weeks after his 80 odd drops out of his price cycle.

    TU: suuuuuure, go for it.
    TD: Nope.

    3

    17
    1. Neale’s price already dropped 40k and he is only going to lose another 20k over the next two weeks (unless he gets another crap score, in which case he’ll lose more). So he’ll be priced around 685k – who are you going to be trading out to get him back in? Because that’ll cost a lot of money and probably at least two downgrades.

Also, you make the argument that Gawn is a must-have even at his high price – how does that same argument not also hold for Neale? I would say for Neale, it’s an even more compelling argument because you already have him. Are you going to try to trade Gawn out later if he scores an 80-90?

  17. Team, I need some help!

High risk, High reward trade options

Fyfe out! Injury, bye, BE 225 – plus some extra trades.
Think I can bring him back in and make some $$ in the process. Looking to move on NikNat before the bye.

    TU:
OUT: Fyfe, NikNaT – IN: Baz, Gawn – bank $10K left

    TD:
OUT: Fyfe, D.Smith – IN: Baz, Simpson – bank 300k hopefully get gawn in a few weeks

    15

    1. For a 60k price difference, I’d say Sicily will be close enough that it won’t matter (current averages are 110 and 108, so maybe 20 points over the rest of the year?).

  18. In
    Will Day and Bailey Smith
    Out
    Jarrod Brander and Sam Sturt

Look at Oliver or Trac next week

    Sound good?

  19. Need help which one? stuck on choosin

TU: Taylor Adams (score all round triple figure)
    TD:Jack Steele

    6

    11
  20. My first trade is Marshall into Gawn. Leaves me with no money and me second trade is gonna be to bring in Will Day. Question is, do I trade out:

    TD: Brander
TU: Xerri (via Cameron and Brander swing)

    12

    2
  21. Can’t get to anyone meaningful with my trades, unless I offload a playing rookie

T/U – McInerny to Egg, Sturt to Georgiades. Move on some deadwood for the fixture cram

T/D – McInenry to Ling, Taylor to Oliver or Adams. Keep the upgrade cycle going

    5

    3
  22. Don’t have much cash
But looks like Gawn is a must have
    Thinking of
    Out: Pittonet & Dusty
In: Gawn & cheap bench player

    Please comment.

    9

    2
  23. T/up – Trade Mcinerney to Mayes (just don’t know about his JS but can pump out some decent scores)

T/down – Trade Thomas Berry to Minchington or Georgiades

    3

    3
  24. have Macrae as vc and will take those points…Sturt is the nominated Captain atm

Have Rankine and King on the bench with Rankine as emergency. Have two non playing rookies in defence so can substitute one of them with the C.

Question: Do i take Rankines 56 (TU) or sub King for Sturt and swap the C (TD)?

    7

    1
  25. How is Ben McKay’s job security at North? I currently have no DEF bench and looking to bring him in.

    3

  26. TU: Starcevich -> Sicily (200k in bank)
TD: Starcevich -> McKay (563k in bank looking to bring Neale in.)

    7
  27. Brander out. Which is the better option? Can go either DEF or FWD.

    TU – Georgiadas
    TD – McPherson

  28. Hill being out forces my hand to trade him out:
    T/u – Just get Lloyd
    T/d – Grab Sicily for 60k less

  29. Hey guys,

First one, do I take Rankine’s score for F6 or risk with Aarts? Aarts’s average is actually less than what Rankine scored last night… Food for thought.

    T/U – Take Rankine’s score
    T/D – Risk with Aarts

    10

    2
  30. Second thing also,

With McPherson named (currently my D6), should I still keep Starc and try to move on other rookies like King, Brander, Taylor, etc? Can’t help but feel McPherson won’t be ensured a spot every week with the Crows if he spuds one game, and maybe holding Starc could be good Emg insurance for me down back in the later rounds?

    My defense right now is:

Docherty, Sicily, Laird, Short, Doedee, McPherson (Starc, O’Connor)

T/U – Yes, hold Starc for Def insurance in later rounds
T/D – Nah, still downgrade Starc for cash

  31. Backline is currently in a bit of strife with Hill going out:
Haynes, Doch, Ridley, Laird, Starcevic, Hill (BZT, Brander)

I’ll probably trade someone in via DPP
    Any suggestions on who??

    TU Bring in Petracca
    TD Bring in Ridley

  34. Which Rookie?
FWD line needs more help than the mids, but Simpson looks the better proposition.

    TU: Simpson
    TD: Georgiades

    5

  35. TU – McInerny & Sturt to Egg & Georgiades. Double up next week
TD – McInerny & Brander to Doedee & McPherson

    3
  36. Hill out leaves me one short in defence and ruins my plan to bring Zorko in.
If I trade Hill to McPherson and play Simpson on the ground in the mids I will probably get around 120-130 points.
If I play one short in defence and bring in Zorko for Mcinerney before his price rises I will probably get 100-120 points.

T/U Play safe and fill the defence

T/D Get Zorko before his price rises

  37. Ok, keeping Macrae’s VC score, and making Tom Green my C.

Who should I put as the emergency to take Green’s score?

    TU: Pickett
    TD: Simpson

  38. Hill out has stuffed my plans for getting big maxi, do i
bring him in and cop a doughnut
turn over a non playing rookie or f… max and bring in Doedee,Hurn , or even Lloyd

  39. Looking for a short term replacement for Pittonet prior to getting Gawn (preferrably a cheapie that might even make some money with a respectable on-field score). Have Cameron at R3.
With Stefan Martin’s stress fracture injury reported as up to 8wks, I sense an option.
I hadn’t paid much attention to the earlier Bris games where various combinations operated. The records show Martin missed Rounds 3 & 4, the only games Archie has played this year. For those games Archie got 37 & 49 whilst Oscar got 132 & 30. From the hitout stats it appears that Martin and McInerney have shared the rucking duties. With Martin out will Bris maintain the 2 ruck system? Who will take the majority of the rucking duties & scoring potential?
    TU: Oscar McInerney 385k
    TD: Archie Smith 186k
