Macca’s UPDATED Bye Planner

Written by Gunboat Diplomacy on April 29 2022

Howdy all! It’s now moving into culling season for some of our Cows and upgrade season … well, unless you’ve been burning through trades and boosts already that is! (I’m looking at you here Ninja’s!)

The latest version of the Bye Planners are included, complete with the word document instructions for using them.

SCT 2022 AFL Bye Planner – AVERAGE = Gun – Rnd6

SCT 2022 AFL Bye Planner – DOLLAR$ = Gun – Rnd6

Bye Planning Words – Round 7

I’ve updated prices, BE’s, points, averages, and the recently updated DPPs. I’ve also updated the round 10 and 11 fixtures on the Season Draw tab, as well as the grid reference for best team to hold a non-playing player for VC/C loop – not really any great changes – Hawks still the best!.

There is also now a separate tab on the files showing all those players that received the DPP changes – and this was courtesy of the thread Gunboat sent out previously! Nice one GD! All data is current as of end of round 6.

Load your round 6 team in the Planner and your banked cash where it tells you (column and cell J47)

Go back to column B and make your trades to the players you want and see if you can afford them or not (check cell J49) – it’s as simple as that!

Now, use the file to do all your research on players stats over the last several years. Or check the various tabs to find players easier.

Also, try savings different versions for each of your trade plans or scenarios.

Hope this helps and let us know your thoughts / plans!

Cheers

Macca

  2. Thanks for the mention Macca….any publicity is good publicity!

With only 20 trades left after this week and only 1 boost, I’ll be using your planner to make sure I can survive thru the byes and come out at full premo (or close too)!

    1. No worries Ninjas … but I think you may have to enrol in a therapy / self help group for your trade button addiction … they do exist and I think they could help you!!!! *wink*

  5. Thanks for the kind words folks!

As long as everyone gets the value out of the Planners, happy to keep doing them!
Pity they sent out the update match fixtures for rounds 12 through after I had sent the files through … missed them and would have been handy!

I’ll send out new versions again in a few weeks to keep everyone with most recent prices etc and closer to the Byes …

If anyone has any queries on using them etc and / or general chat, I’ll try and keep an eye on the thread this arvo whilst working and respond!
    Cheers

  8. Thanks, Macca. This is bloody amazing… I’m awed by the amound to work you’ve invested in this resource and your generosity in sharing it with the community.
If only I knew how to use it properly!
Might be a stupid question (as most IT questions are) but:
I can’t seem to load my team in column b; I just keep getting a ‘loading’ message instead of a drop-down box.
    Am I doing something wrong?

    Cheers again.
