Poll – Jack Steven

Written by The Salamander on March 19 2020

A classic fallen premium, many coaches have locked Jack Steven into their sides as a $361,700 keeper. However, Chris Scott has said that he is unlikely to play Round 1. Assuming that he doesn’t get named this week, how does this affect your plans?

Are you still starting Jack Steven if he doesn't play Round 1?

  1. ‘FUCS’ suits Chris Scott perfectly huh?! Can’t wait to see his face/presser after they get torn a new one on Saturday night.

    Still love Stuv tho! Shame

    1. Love it as !!! He’s an almost frog to start with, a not exactly impeccable playing history in recent years…..in a 17 rd season…..why have him at any stage ??
      Cats big slider for me.

      1. Cal Wilkie is fast making his way to the top of my squeeze list.
Might just give AA selection a nudge in what’s a strange year. Brilliant intercept with insane third effort

  2. Perfect sideways option if another midpricer fails to fire. Definitely not one to start, though.

  3. I think it works out well , we get to see Jack perform for a couple of weeks , the role he plays, fitness, body language, and try and gauge what sort of head-space he is in before we pick him.

  4. 17 rounds 30 trades with no byes*.
What’s not to like. Jack can wait a round or 2, then I’ll decide. I’m with BB on this.

      1. In my case, I’d ended up with Whitfield swinging into the midfield to accommodate some more mid-pricers up forward. Had to pick two of Rowell, Green and Pickett to start on field, and loopholing was always the safest option in case of a poor score from Pickett.

Shuffling things around again now and Whitfield has gone forward, but will still make sure someone like Hibberd or McHenry gets my final mid spot so I can take Pickett’s points this week.
