SCT Coach of the Week
Continuing his tremendous start to the season, Dale of Dam Dogs has notched up the SCT Coach of the Week nomination for Round 5 after a huge 2420 in what was a down round for the rest of us peasants. Dale’s 2420 was 101st for the round and came on the back of Hewett and Sicily doing work down back, a 7x premo midfield and the best starting ruck set up of English and Witts. Dam Dogs have consistently featured in the SCT Leagues & Coaches Updates and now sit 245th overall. Superb work, Dale!

A bunch of other SCT Coaches hit 2300+ but this shit is finicky to type so I’ve gone for 2330+ this week to highlight those who really popped off. Dale as discussed big dogged it with 2420, Shane, Craig and Shed 5 Roswell continue to back up their hot starts and then site stalwart and Bye Planner engineer Macca entered the fray with a 2334 having astutely benched JHF and Rowell! Genius!

Shed 5 Roswell has shot up 800 places to 230th OA and now tops the SCT Group, Dale, Shane, Steven and site regular and SCT drafter Matt continue their Top 1k starts and shout out to Connor and Peter for not only their impressive ranks but keeping it real by having the @SCT suffix on their team name. Hats off to the 12 Coaches in the Top 1000, who are being closely tailed by some notable names in Wognuts, SnoiL, 88MPH, GetOnTheBeers, Swayeyes and then our vanguard in Catta, BeardedBurbler and Chips Ahoy! – all of whom are just outside the Top 1k! Great work, fellas!

Still well represented with SCT making up 35 of the Top 500 Leagues. Chillo’s Sanctum has dethroned FD’s Craggy Island from poll position, LoEC #1 and Tragics #4 are narrowly hanging on and SCT Contributors is having its best run for a while.
BeardedBurbler sits dominant at the top of the ladder at 3-0 after having obliterated me by a lazy 130 points, Macca top scored and put Abs (very much the Fallen Premium of the Contribs league) to the sword and Dane edged out a winless FT by 11 with only 4 uniques between them after Mead’s 28 sunk FT. We had a few other close ones: Alza and Thommo were locked in a low scoring 2100~ affair settled by 40 points and Sicily sealing it in Alza’s favour, FD copped 14 point loss to Yiorgakis after Brayshaw put nearly 100 points over Chapman and Kid81 narrowly saw off TDA by 13 points despite Kid81 carrying JHF and Rachele as uniques.

Loving this expanded write up GD. It’s great to see so many dominating teams and leagues.
I’m in four of these top 500 leagues and I’m being humbled regularly at the minute!
Yeah. It’s good fun isn’t it. Always thought this piece could use an expansion.
Starting to get more traction, which is good.
I’m currently weighing down both Gun’s Regulars leagues, LoEC #1, the Contribs league and Tragics #1 – but all are still Top 500!
Always amazing to see how well the SCT members are doing.
I think I might be a good luck charm, for my league opponents. For the third week in a row, they’re up there in the top few. Well done peeps. Maybe next week the luck will fall my way again??
