  1. If you must make a trade this week and are unsure,
IMO would it help if you compared last weeks score against who they’re playing this week and any role changes before tossing a coin to decide?

  2. Havent traded yet this week.
Wondering if its worth it to go jones > mckenna this week so then i dont have to do it next week in case i need to do 3 trades such as laird, bruhn and chesser. If those 3 fail (which bruhn already has) then i wont be able to trade out jones.
TU: Do it this week mckenna might score more anyway
TD: Leave it till next week, hope laird and chesser or any other rookies dont fail

    1. Same thoughts here, might just hold this week and see how Jones goes, he may be fine.
Bruhn next week is out, and Fyfe has one last week.
Regardless you should not trade Laird

      1. Yeh not keen to trade laird either but just taking into account the possibility. I dont believe he will but if he does score 50 again this week he kinda has to go and i just have to be prepared

      2. I am looking like I will lose my H2H matchup already after Dochertys 73 and Ratugoleas 31 as we only have 5 other unique players. I wanted to trade in Daicos but I think he gets a lot more attention against Port this week and not confident in any of the other DEF options want to see another week from them at least. I have already traded Stewart but I can update the trade. Do I?
TU Trade Stewart to Daicos as planned bank 125k
TD Trade Stewart to McKenna & bank 460k for next week to upgrade Chesser/Greene to a premo (Cogs/Gulden) after seeing their second game

        Much appreciated 🙂

  3. does anyone know the JS of Max Michalanny?

is there an injured player who’s spot he is filling?

    TU: Good JS
TD: he is only a place holder. don’t think about him

  4. Aaron Cadman (fwd) 207k – the top of last years crop of rookies may get his chance against Wet toast. One to watch

    1. I would take a punt on Wilmot. Even if he only goes a disastrous 30 you are only 20 points out of pocket

  6. One more:
    TU: Fyfe/Laird/Jones out Ridley/Coniglio/Mckenna in.
    TD: Don’t.

The reasoning; even though I expect Laird to come good and be a Top 10 MID at least, Coniglio seems likely to be a FWD keeper and Ridley a DEF keeper (with a little less confidence there). McKenna gives me A1 cash gen and will be harvested for an upgrade. It does mean I have to shift Constable into MID temporarily and continue fielding Wilmot or Cowan but I have a bench loop in Gillbee.
The balance of expected averages seems pretty even for the ins and outs but I have a potential extra premo from the deal.

    Thoughts?

    1. Think Jones > McKenna is a seperate thing to

      Laird+ Fyfe > Cogs/Ridley

Depends on your structure. Turning 2 trades into +1 premo is fair trade use. If your Def is solid I probably wouldn’t. Think it would be smarter just to “rookie correct” Fyfe next week after Freo plays north.

However if you want to be aggressive I think you can justify it.

      1. I wouldn’t say my DEF is as strong as I’d like: good cash gen and solid enough rookie choices so far.
Pre trade: Sicily, Doc, Jones, Ginbey, Wilmot, Constable (Cowan, Chesser).
Post trade: Sicily, Doc, Ridley, Ginbey, McKenna, Wilmot (Cowan Gillbee) with Constable temporarily shifted to M8.
I can shift Constable bto DEF via Chesser/Gillbee and shift Davey/Phillipou FWD to MID via Sinn, so pretty flexible and have DEF/MID/FWD rookie or C/VC loop options.

    1. Why? Mckenna plays against the dees and may struggle a bit?
Jones plays saints who cant kick in inside 50

  8. Tom Stewart to:

    TU: Daicos (108k ITB)
    TD: Dawson (7k ITB)

Already have Doc and Ridley in my backline.

  9. Locking my trades in, already committed to Jelly -> Daicos (for structural reasons).

    Little bit split on this.

Tu) Save the boost, hold Jones this week, Chesser -> Callaghan

Td) Jones -> McKenna & Chesser -> JHF

  10. Who is the best pick this week?

    TU Worpel (#1 inside mid)
    TD Callaghan (wing)

I can still pick up the other one next week if they go well.

    Cheers!
