  2. Problem with SC finals being in the last few weeks of H&A is that teams go all altra-conservative. I know it can’t be done any other way but it turns it into a bit of a lottery rather than pure skill…

    1. Agree Coops. I put this game down to 50% skill and 50% luck. The only way you could get more control over it is to become coach of an AFL team and play the blokes in your SC team while benching the blokes in your opposition’s team.

      1. Agreed or become head of AFl and let your blokes off and suspend your oppositions ie.HIlle Demetriou’s dream teamn nothing sus

  3. FREMANTLE coach Mark Harvey says ruckman Aaron Sandilands is unlikely to face Hawthorn at Aurora Stadium on Saturday, and more players – including captain Matthew Pavlich – could be rested for the tough road trip.

Think there might some really good sc teams going down this week!

    1. I maybe one of those good teams. Advantage PA’s ruck division.

Got a feeling Cats will rest Chappy so if Pav goes also there goes my fwd line.

Seriously how many trades does PA have? Anyone?

  6. I have killed it this season & not had any DPP’s for the entire season, this due to the players I wanted in my midfield were all single position players. I have now come to the realisation that in Finals having this option is crucial. As there are so many good players rested it becomes hard to cover them all.

  7. Yeah agree although there are also againsts of having say chap dids etc in mid when u can’t get a heap of great fwds atm.

Just glad my opponent has chappy, selwood, lake, brwn and pav so surely I’m better off than them with trades up my sleeve.

If browns out thinking waite might even be best fwd option other than 34 v pies he has got some good scores and surely can’t get reported again…

    1. Youre right, I had the option last week of picking up Harvey in my midfield for Coon but I went with Mitchell as I needed to trade Harvey into my fwd for Hall as no other good fwd options last week, as I don’t rate Didak. Am I’m a pies supporter.

  8. NEWSFLASH!!!! http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/a/-/afl/7788094/dockers-take-b-team-to-tasmania/

“The Dockers flew east today without seasoned players Matthew Pavlich, Aaron Sandilands, Adam McPhee, Roger Hayden and David Mundy as well as exciting youngsters Anthony Morabito and Stephen Hill.

Coming into the travelling party were Ryan Muprhy, Clayton Hinkley, Tim Ruffles, Zac Clarke and Justin Bollenhagen.”

As a North supporter there goes our slim chances of finals!!!!! Freo’s decided to make it all or nothing against Carlton next week for a home final.
