Dobbo's Dilemma

Written by Motts on May 12 2010

Had an email in the Inbox this morning from SCT’s good mate, Dobbo, all the way from the UK proposing a poll. Simple question with only 2 choices:

What to do with Robbie Gray (PTA)?

  1. Gotta get Didak. Consistent scorer who isn’t carrying an injury, has scored more tons than JB, higher low score than Brown, runs through the mid field, scores goals, plays for the pies, what more can you want?

  2. Dobbo – JB will come good eventually mate.

Have a huge dilemma myself if anyone can help.
I require a 100k DPP (Forward/Defender) so i can swap him around the park with J.Waite. Does anyone have an opinion on who will play minutes from:
    Jarryd Allen
    Ricky Henderson
    Lukas Markovic
    Andrew Moore
    Jesse Oโ€™Brien
    Hamish Shepheard
    Daniel Talia

    Cheers

    1. There is some talk that Retzlaff from Brisbane will replace Brennan this week. He kicked a bag last week and is a MPP d/f so he is the one to keep an eye out for @ selection.

        1. just waiting on selection, Paul…..I’ve got a few on my shopping list if I go Pav, but I’m not convinced about any of them.
          Might have to go Didak/Rohan
          or even Varcoe/Fyfe
I just am not completely sure which way to swing on this one.

          1. Yeah I got Fyfey in last week before he’s price rise and am looking at upgrading Ladson in my backline, looks like we’re in the same boat, HGL.

          2. I reckon so, I actually was looking at the Bob/Rioli into Pav/Fyfe trade last week, but with Maguire and then Silvagni, I felt compelled to bring in Hargreave & Roberton otherwise I would have been totally reliant on Mitch Farmer and would have got a doughnut -like I did in dt, which almost cost me the eliminator- and I wouldn’t have been happy.
So I missed out on Fyfe and am ridding myself of the Rioli/Bob nonsense that is threatening to turn into a sitcom!

  3. Cheers lads.
Just to give a bit of clarity… I’m looking to upgrade Ziebell. Already have ROK, Gia, Buddy, Gray, Pods etc. I’ve obviously thought of Pav, but think Dids and Browny give better value at their current prices. I’m leaning towards Dids (even though he’s a prick) as he’s a bit more consistent, he’s a DPP and even though Vossy denies it, I think the big fella is carrying an injury.
