Game Chat – Richmond v Fremantle

Written by Thommo on July 25 2015

The Tigers have won eight of their last nine matches but surely the best of these wins was the round 10 defeat of the previously unbeaten Dockers at Subiaco. Having beaten Fremantle on their home patch, Richmond will be favoured to win at the MCG but strangely enough the Tigers haven’t appeared as convincing playing at home as they have on the road. Still, with Ballantyne out for most of the season and Pavlich sure to struggle with Rance’s defensive prowess, Fremantle will have to recapture their early season form to win this one.

But as we all know, never rule out a team coached by Ross Lyon.

Milestones: Congratulations to Troy Chaplin who has quietly crept his way to 200 games.

Thommo’s tip: Richmond by 3 goals.

  3. Beautiful kicking action there by Mundy and whilst I don’t barrack for Freo, nice to see him seal it after a similar nail-biter a few years ago where he only managed to kick a behind after the siren, which cost them the game.

  4. FULL TIME

    Tigers 10.18. 78 vs Freo 12.10. 82

Hard to blame a loss on one person, and Richmond had plenty of chances, but Bachar Houli kicking in to a 1-on-3 contest at the 50m mark with 1.20 left on the clock. What was he thinking? That hurts, Bachar! Here are the scores from a wounded one-eyed Tigers supporter 😉
