The 11 guys involved in SCT’s inaugural Punters Club have now had a crack at it and to be brutally honest, the results have been pretty woeful (but gee we’ve had some fun). Here’s how everyone fared:
Yiorgakis – $30 (ALP to win 51-60 seats)
Sodes – $117.75 (Fiorente at the Valley)
Walkabout – $0
Muttley – $120.49 (European soccer multi and a Hawks AFL GF bet)
Motts – $45 (Day and Woods in the President’s Cup)
Hawker – $118.90 (Multilateral and Complacent at Randwick)
Duck – $105.83 (Polanski and Spurtonic at Caulfield)
Deano – $0
Burls – $0
Bob – $0
Big Sexy – $106 (Boban at Flemington and Foreign Prince at Randwick)
That means that we’ve turned out original investment of $1,320 into just under half: $645. Well done to the both Muttley and Hawker who won enough money to be given a second crack at it the week after.
So the question is, what do we want to do now? I propose going around again with $60 each to play with (I’ll stump up the extra $15 out of the goodness of my heart). If you want out, no problems, let me know in Comments and I’ll send you your cut.

Keep me in, I’ve enjoyed coming home from work and seeing how we’ve gone. Not many Punter’s Clubs I’ve been in make much money if any it’s about having a bit of fun. Got a feeling we will improve if we go again.
I’m for going again. Been good fun.
P.S. I struggle following some of the Australian horse racing. Has Deano’s last nag ran yet?
