Punting R12

Written by Motts on June 13 2013

My San Antonio bet is looking good for the NBA Title after they belted the Heat yesterday. The series is now 2-1 in the Spurs favour.

This is a good thing because my footy bets didn’t go so well last week. Carlton went down (but shouldn’t have) on Friday night and then Sydney belted the living suitcase out of Adelaide to shoot down my multi.

I’m stepping away from the punting controls this week to throw it over to you guys. Who do you like?

  1. Brisbane (+48.5) @ 1.91
    Port (-29.5) @ 1.91
    Gold Coast (+32.5) @ 1.91

Freo is a tight defensive team and loves creating stoppages. Expect the game to be low scoring.
Port loves thrashing weak opponents. Remember round 1?
In the past few rounds GC has proved they can keep it up with the best, well for at least 3 quarters anyways.

The multi gives you 6.97. Worth a punt dont you think?

  2. Having a gamble on the games makes it a bit more interesting. I bet on first goalkickers every match, usually get one or two in for the weekend, they always get it back, but a lot of fun.

  4. I reckon the Suns are a sneaky chance this week. Would definitely take those odds to get within five goals……..

  5. I agree with Motts, it’s been too damn hard to pick ’em lately. Supercoach head to heads though – different ball game. Last week Scott Selwood over Masten paid 1.80, Cox over Riewoldt 1.88, Shaw over Ball 1.77, N Jones over Howe 1.75 etc. I wouldn’t recommend putting them all in a multi, but there’s definitely money to be made there.

  6. Multi footy bets with todays nba game.

    Total points under 187.5 @ 1.91

All but game 3 were under 187 and it took unbelievable shooting to get to 190

  8. My SC head to head suggestions:
    Roughead over Waite

    Ablett over Watson

Barlow over Fyfe – Barlow is leading the club for SC points. Av of last 3 games for Barlow is 133 vs Fyfe 116

Treloar over Ebert – Treloar hit 129 vs Port last year and is cranking some good scores

Griffen over Pendles – Griffen scored 152 vs Pies last year vs 107 for Pendles. Also, Griffen av over last 4 is 146 vs Pendles av of 122
