  1. Who do you reckon scores more to season’s end?
    TU: Dangerfield
    TD: Macrae
This will be my last trade if Doedee doesn’t make it.
    Thanks all

  2. With only 3 trades left and ranking of 1125 not sure if I should risk trades. $120 in bank
So can t/u swallow to Kelly
    Or t/d Holman to Heeney
Might wait as Suns have Carlton and Heeney really needed in forward line not mid field

  3. Since Dahlhaus is out for the year, I am wondering how good Wallis would be for an F6. Has a fairly easy run home, but plays Richmond in the final game. Also 1% POD

Averages 94, and has a low score of 79 and a high 116 which was last game. He is known for scoring quite big at times but never can put a full season together so i am unsure whether he can string the last 5 games together after coming back round 13.
I’d be trading Fritsch for him and i have 4 trades left, 3 if this goes through, so is it worth it???

    TU – Yes
    TD – No

  4. T/U Macrae +O’Riordin defensive reserve +$38k ITB with 3 trades to go
T/D Couch no defensive reserve + $28k ITB
    4 trades to go
    Full premo

    1. Sorry Crouch should add very concerned going into finals with no defensive spare as got caught out with Simmo few weeks back ,fair enough if injured before selections you can bring someone in ,but with all late withdrawals prefer to have backup ,

  5. Got 3 trades left and 75k in bank currently ranked 1488 and in 8th spot in my league.

I see my main weakness being rocky in midfield, but ive got degoey/walters as m9/f7 cover.
    Do I
T/u use one trade to upgrade rocky to a mid under 520k (thinking selwood, parker, adams or sloane)

T/d give him another go against the doggies

Comment: use 2 of my last 3 to bring in oliver

      1. In one of my leagues im sitting 6th and am over 1000 pts for higher than the ladder leader….it can happen depending on the draw…especially the bye rounds.

  6. MELBOURNE star Clayton Oliver left the training track early on Wednesday with what appeared to be a tight quad.

Oliver received some treatment through his upper right quad and hip flexor area during training.

The gun midfielder, who gathered 40 disposals against Geelong on Saturday night, had a conversation with the club’s fitness staff, who decided to take him out of training.

He will be further assessed ahead of Saturday night’s game against Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.

  7. I held onto Sicily last week as had cover (4 trades remaining) but will trade him out this week as it cost me a few league wins, playing a rookie on field in his place. Otherwise I’m full premo (but still have Savage which also concerns me so will be the next to go, if my team can remain injury free). In no danger of missing any league finals.

This week, I plan to move T Mac from forwards to defence to replace Sicily, Westhoff from mids to forwards, which leaves me a premium mid spit to fill. Currently have T Mitchell, Danger, Oliver, Cripps, Gaff, Coniglio & M Crouch. Had planned on it being Macrae but his less than impressive score last round is making me now consider either J Kelly or trading back in Dusty. Would appreciate the thoughts of the SCT community:

    TU : Trade in Macrae
TD : Trade in J Kelly / Dusty

      1. Hi Freo Tragic – I will have $620,100 once I trade out Sicily, so can afford any of my preferences of Dusty, Macrae, J Kelly or Neale. But the price of Dusty is very attractive.

  8. If going for rank, do i trade savage to Lloyd leaving me with not much spare cash, or wait a week (4 trades)
    TU: Trade in Lloyd
TD: Wait for price drop and see if any other injuries happen

    1. am hoping he will drop a little in price, plus Savage isn’t injured, just a potato! i have him too, but i’d be holding him even if i had 4 trades left (only have 2).

  9. 5 trades left, guaranteed top 3 finish in my league.

Is it worth trading Fritsch (F7) to Menegola?
    T/U Trade
    T/D Hold

    1. with five trades left I’d be looking for an uber premo. if you reckon Menegola is gonna smash these last 5 games then do it. if not, get the best FWD you haven’t got.

  10. I’m ranked in the top 3500, 3rd highest total points in league, but frustratingly sitting in 8th on the ladder and must win against a top opponent this round.

I’ve already traded in MacRae for Sicily (via Westhoff). 4 remaining

    Should I:

TU. Loop Rocky and if he’s flying at halftime let him play. If rubbish trade Fyfe to Neale

TD: Trade Fyfe to Dusty, bench Rocky

    Comment: a different trade

Current miss: Titch, Cripps, Danger, Oliver, MacRae, Coniglio, Crouch, Rocky (Fyfe, B. Ainsworth, Dawson)

  11. Have 4 trades, need to trade in a ruckman to replace Nicnat.
Hard to separate Martin and Grundy. Does the cash saved swing it?

    TU
    Grundy +30k in the bank

    TD
    Martin 80k in the bank

    1. I think the extra cash might prove its value, as it SHOULD afford you to cover any eventuality, eg a premo going down early, scoring 20-odd pts and leaving you with a significant value drop. $80k is more likely to cover it than $30k. Could leave you exposed (like me) that’s all. It is frustrating as fu3k being $10-15k short of what you need, believe me

  12. I need to remove that panty pooper Robinson and have two options. Can afford anyone except Lloyd in straight trades…4 left. Dont have R Gray but looking for dpp flexibility although his price is so tempting.

T/U straight swap for dpp Mundy (walters/wallis ?)
T/D swing Tmac fwd, downgrade one of Ahern/Giro/Spargo and get Lloyd….leaves only two trades.

Comment…Tmac for Hurley and keep an extra trade.

    1. Wait a round, Lloyd’s BE of 159 should see him drop plenty next week – it might save you a trade

  13. Is the skid carrying a niggle/injury?! If not I’d be tempted to hold. He could just as easily bash out a 130 as another 40-0dd. But as FD says, players tend to return to their average over time which suggests he’s due some higher scores. If you don’t need to win this week, I’d hold. Save the trades for finals.

    1. Sound advice as always Sainter…..I was thinking ahead for finals. The Degoey news is sobering food for thought.

  14. Have 4 trades left, 1 spot in midfield to fill, $402k bank and an easy win this week.
Mids: Oliver, Titch, Cripps, Pendles, Coniglio, Dusty, Kelly, Heeney (will swing fwd), (Ahern, Phillips, Barry)

    Trying to decide whether to:
TU: Trade Guelfi to Danger this week and complete team.
TD: Hold a week take the W and see how Macrae goes.

  15. 5 Trades, $250k in the bank. Savage and Billings my weakest players on field.
I’ll leave Billings for the moment because he might make a little more cash.

Who’s the best upgrade from Savage?
Current DEFs: Laird, Yeo, Simpson, Hurley, Lloyd, Savage.

    Thanks

  16. Got a big game this week with 4 trades left 180k in bank. Will trade Sicily for Tmac giving me 230k to play with. Still have Fritsch on the field. Just want some thoughts on whether I trade Fritsch to save money for possible luxury/injury trades or upgrade a non playing bench player, use all my money on a fwd priced below 450k and keep Fritsch to loop with.

    1. I have no advice to offer, but I’m also wondering about Darling. Considering trading him in for Robinson, as I have a must-win week in my league. Only have 3 trades left though

      1. Darling in for fritsch is looking like my 3rd last trade so similar situation, I’d be very surprised if he couldn’t manage 95+ points even if he didn’t average 110+ as he was at one stage so as far as I can see the only risk is injury and west coast would not risk bringing him back early under a cloud.

  17. Just did the Ahern to Heeney trade for my last forward line leaving alternating bench and one on the field caddy/billing’s/firtsch
TU good trade and Heeney is a must have
TD Heeney has hit the wall and there are better options out there
Comment who can I bring in
